Attended a course for a week, nice and clean, good parking, the room's lighting could have been better but the catering was good. Thank you.

Large spacious venue for a wedding. Toilets were a bit tiny and squashed for such a large venue.. don't know who designed the toilets.. but don't use them again!

As sports halls go this place is OK. I went to a competition that used the hall inside the venue. I believe the front desk can do some good but didn't try that. There are 4 female toilets which was a bit inadequate for the competition needs, but they all had toilet roll in them and all worked. The independent food truck outside ran out of really expensive chips by 1:30 when I left

Attended a meeting in one if their suites. Well laid out and plenty of room with tea/coffee available. Sports facilities also available for members.

Reasonable venue for a large event. We attended the British Taekwon-Do Championships along with a large number of competitors and spectators. The toilet facilities were a bit on the few side. Made worse by a dog show and a sci-fi convention on at the same time. My recommendation would be to add extra toilets perhaps using quality trailer or container based units as a temporary measure until additional welfare facilities can be built. No on site catering but there was a catering trailer in the car park which was a saving grace!

This review is purely for the venue. We attended an antique fair here. Parking is easy and the venue itself ok. Toilets were adequate but venue was very cold.

Was there for the vintage homes event. Some stuff was ok and it was good to see some old furniture in good condition, but there did seem to be a lot of pricey stuff. Lots of stuff there but nothing that was special (to me anyways) on the day.

Friendly and helpful staff, the gymnasium has recently been upgraded with high quality machines and equipment. Their is a brand new terrace balcony under construction which can be accessed from the function rooms upstairs which have their own bars who sell good quality beverages and snacks 👌🏻

Hosted work events here for conferences and training sessions. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. They also dealt with an unexpected power blow out very professionally when a local pylon was knocked down (outside of their control). We will be back for other events in the future.

Very impressed. We only visited for the Cycle Speedway Indoor Championships on the 4th January 2014 but the sports centre really created a great atmosphere. There was no entry fee (which we would have been happy to pay), the barriers around the cycle speedway track were impressive and helped with the safety of the riders and the audience. They opened both a cafe and a bar and both had reasonable prices and edible food! They made sure there were enough bins around for the rubbish and they had a viewing balcony for those who couldn't get close enough to watch the action for the floor-side. The ONLY thing I would say they needed to do (and I'm not sure this is down to the Cycle Speedway organisers or the Sports Centre) but there should have been St. Johns Ambulance present or a trained first-aiders station - it is a dangerous sport, there were a number of serious injuries on the day and it was disappointing that no-one was there to monitor it. Great sports centre though and from what I saw of the training rooms, there was lots of equipment available!

Since it has been modernised, Ryton Connexio is great. It offers great facilities at an affordable price. A goid range of classes are on offer and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

I go to Connexion every week to use the gym and the facilities are of the highest standard and the staff team there are very helpful. The gym equipment it's self is very good and easy to use and understand.
