Top club. Joined as a complete beginner 9 months ago and have always felt welcomed with my skill level catered to. The club has a real community feel to it, the coaches are highly experienced and approachable and activities are conducted safely with the diligence needed to progress in a combat sport. Great club that I see myself at for years.

Both my boys started this club in April and they are loving it, always come out with big happy smiles. The coaches are brilliant, they’ve been made very welcome by everyone. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into Judo. 5*

A great club. It has a big family kind of feel to it. Done an amazing job to keep going through Covid times. They are there backing you if you want to go far and enter competitions but equally behind you if you’re just happy to keep it to just the classes, with no pressure. My son has been going for years moving from children’s to Adult classes and he really enjoys going 😊👍🏼 🥋

This is a really great Judo club! My son has been going for several months now. Everyone one is really friendly and the instructors really get the kids involved. There are adult classes too but I haven't been to any of those, but I wouldn't mind trying at some point.

I trained here a few years ago when I was cross training Judo and BJJ. Very friendly club and instructors. I only left due to moving out the Derbyshire area but I would highly recommend this club to anyone who is interested in taking up Judo.

I’ve been linked to Derby Olympus judo club for over 25 yrs first as a player now the father of a judoka , throughout that time the coaches , Dean , Andy and Dave have provided top notch coaching purely for the love of the sport and developing future generations of players .As of late Covid 19 has had a major impact on the club ,however the team have implemented many safe guarding procedures to protect the welfare of all staff and attendees whilst implementing a comprehensive judo specific training program . Well done to all involved , keep up the fantastic work .

Great Judo team!!! Very cautious and observant of the COVID regulations. Even with the rules being very strict at the moment, the Sensei is pushing the team with both specific exercise and general fitness. Great experience and I highly recommend the club.
