The facilities were clean but the lunchtime slot for the adult swim was packed. Lovely showers, but I'm not a great fan of unisex changing rooms. Some of the older ladies were clearly getting excited when I started to soap up in the showers.

Staff are all brilliant ,swimming great ,disabled changing room needs a dam good clean also the scum round the large pool is a disgrace, I could see it closing down for health reasons after a really professional inspection

Lane swimming today 12 till 1 much easier to swim than normal when people seem to want to talk more than swim and insist on being side by side . Maybe compromise and put 2 lanes on ?

Years since I've been to the Gym so had an induction this morning with Sam she is friendly, patient & really knows her stuff all my problems were addressed & now I know exactly which machines to use to improve my health & fitness. Had a swim afterwards the pool is lovely. All the staff are friendly & helpful.

First time i've visited in a while to go swimming, the lack of a desk to organise and book things is very off putting, I think they take it for granted that everybody has access to the internet! Other than that, it is what it is, a village leisure facility.

Too many young teens messing about in the gym. Nobody monitoring them. Do not use machines correctly and do not wipe machines down after use. Needs addressing.

Changing rooms and viewing area have been updated and are now clean, modern and fit for purpose. Still busy in the pool entry/exit area for swimming lessons but better than at Thorne.

Recently refurbished with, excellent swimming pool, fitness suite and eating facilities. Swimming lessons provided if required for youngsters. Seated viewing balcony to watch pool activities.

A nice small pool and gym (although I haven't used the gym). The children's pool is nice and warm, very carefully lifeguarded and ideal to introduce young children to the water in a relatively quiet and not too crowded environment. Yes, it is a bitbasic when compared with the larger centres, but the staff are friendly and helpful and on our many visits we have never had a problem with cleanliness.

Took my grandson son for his swimming lesson, and went to watch him from the viewers platform upstairs, but it was very dark, only one row of chairs and very claustrophobic. It would have been nicer to have tiered seating and a brighter environment, unfortunately lack of space seemed to be the problem

Quite a nice little gym and swimming baths. They do a good range of classes from aerobics to aquafit. The staff here are lovely and helpful, really friendly and approachable. Same for the class instructors, also really encouraging and helpful! Only downside is it's all open showers- theres no closed off areas to get a shower which is a bit frustrating. There's one shower that's private in the female only change but everything else is open and mixed.. The swimming baths changing area can be a bit grimy on the floor at times as well but otherwise a nice quiet place to go!

Take my little boy here every week. It's where I learnt to swim quite a few years ago now! The staff are always lovely and kinda. Some were there when I learnt to swim which shows it must be a nice place. Swim lessons are extremely reasonable prices compared to franchises too.

I use it for gym and pool. Usually it does for me as I work almost 50hr/week and need a gym/pool near home. I wouldnt say it is the best there is but for anyone wanting basic weight training/cardio etc it is good. The staff here is very friendly and the actually taught me how to swim The only concern I have is during some of the sessions the bigger pool is just overcrowded with kids and adults, sometimes kids without any adult supervision, and sometimes as little as 15kids to 1 trainer. From personal experience i have witnessed near misses of children diving into the pool and nearly missing an adult. This could be potentially dangerous as anyone could have back/arm/neck injuries and worse pf all head injury or paralysis. I have had to leave the pool earlier than i would normally do because i felt unsafe in the pool. I have raised this issue with the staff. I personally feel they need to limit the number of people, adult supervision, and instructions to children to reasonable limits to avoid injury and accidents. They may not have had one yet but they have the recipe for it brewing in that pool.

Good gym. Could really do with a water fountain to drink from though while working out. You need to insert a bottle to fill up. There is no way to drink from it if you do not have a bottle. Had to drink from the tap in the changing room.

I have just had my 2nd adult swimming lesson tonight 4th Feb and thankyou Lamarra you are amazing not only as a teacher but friendly and kind too and also Adele who is equally lovely you all have made me feel welcome and gave me so much confidence thank you the staff at this venue are friendly.

Good facilities, helpful staff. Good range of classes.Equipment is a little tired nowadays in the gym, and it's a little small for the amount of members they have so at peak times you can struggle to get on things like the treadmills.

Pool is ok adult Lane sessions could be more often as they're always popular. Upstairs viewing gallery is disgusting ,very high temperatures and humidity with a mickey mouse aircon unit that just adds to the heat. I'm sure it would be illegal to keep animals in such conditions but apparently it's ok for the viewing public many of which suffer for hours at a time watching their children on club nights every week .
