a. h.Visiting from America where I'm a course marshal at VIR. Great track! Must see. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of spectator seating, lots of benches. Even some covered spectator areas. Food at Kinnairds was great! Clean bathrooms/showers. Very walkable paddock. Handicap accessible. Met lots of staff, all very friendly, accommodating and made us feel at home. Special recognition to Stuart Gray, the Event and Business Development Director

G. B.Amazing morning at Knockhill. I was there for the Ferrari 430 experience. It was incredible!
You get taken out in a Civic Type R. The instructor does 2 laps, showing you the line, where to brake and accelerate. Then you take the driving seat and do 4 laps. Great wee car.
Then it's onto the Ferrari for 6 laps with you in the drivers seat. What a car, what a noise, what a rush. I'm still buzzing hours later. The engine note from that 430, when you are flat out on the long straight, with the instructor shouting 'floor it' in your ear and you fire over the finish line, I'll never forget it.
They really encourage you to drive this car fast, I've been on other supercar experiences where you don't even get the car out of 2nd, not here.
This is a real driving experience.
It was just a spectacular experience. The instructors were all very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend enough. I'll be smiling for days.
A. S.Great day out, yeah the price needs to be considered, but the buzz and energy you feel just being there is magic. When you actually get into a high performance car and cut loose the adrenaline rush is amazing. If you get a chance add the “Atom” drive…..out of this world experience
t. m.If you never seen Real racing live , you should go and you will became addicted to loud bangs and smell or burned high octane fuel in the air :) Check calendar for upcoming events and pick whatever you fancy most. two biggest events are Superbikes and BTCC ,but there is plenty more to be chose from drifting to hot hatch gatherings :) on site there is also go-kart track , so you could try racing yourself. If you have more spare £ , you could book one of paid car rides in Ferrari or other crazy cars. Restaurant on area always serve hot coffee if weather is bad.
g. J.First visit to Knockhill, guy on the main gate was friendly and helpful and was more than happy to give us directions. I think I'm correct in saying you can drive around most of the outside of the track. It's a compact circuit and you can see 90 % of the action from any single vantage point. Plenty of toilet facilities and a good clean café. Ample parking around most of the track although I would imagine it would very busy during bigger events such as BTCC. From the paddock down to the first corner is accessible by wheelchair, (other areas may also be accessible but we didn't venture all the way around) and there are plenty of benches for sitting. There are various undercover areas which include benches. Away from the racing the Scottish scenery is awesome as you're more or less surrounded by mountains. There's also petrol go carts for the younger ones and various other driver experiences which would need to be pre booked. So if you fancy some racing action and maybe a hot chocolate with marshmallows, get yourself up to Knockhill !!
c. v.Awesome day out at a great venue. Went to watch the rallycross and had a blast. Can walk all round the track to pick your favourite corner, lots of toilets, few food spots.
Will definitely come back!!

The toilet blocks were really clean with cleaners doing the rounds all day. But not so much the portable ones! Avoid if possible. M.My daughter attended the Teen Drive experience which she agrees is a 5 out of 5. 14 years old, she loved every minute of it and when she got out the car after the first run her smile was beaming. Great value for money and an absolutely brilliant beginner driving course. Very well presented and the staff were excellent. Her instructor was so enthusiastic and his guidance was second to none. I would recommend this course to any parents looking to get their youngster a driving experience before being able to go out on the road. Well done Knockhill! Phenomenal day. Well deserved 5 out of 5. Facilities first class.

Friendly and knowledgeable they put you at ease and give you great pointers to build your confidence and improve your laps. Food in the cafe was also good and they do a decent cup of tea. I would recommend them to anyone.

Driving from Inverness to Edinburgh with time in hand, and the aim of calling in to Knockhill circuit and drive an Aston Martin, we called in to see if it's available and possible.
In the event, the Aston was fully booked up, but a Honda Civic Type R was available, with one-to-one instruction for at least 17 laps. So I booked it there and then.
Nice, friendly instructor, Graham, helped talk me through the circuit, braking points, lines, how to get the weight where it needs to be for optimal handling.
Went out on a wet circuit that quickly dried, and had an absolute blast.
The instructor even took the family round, at pace, for a couple of demo laps. LOL!
Great fun, recommend the circuit and the team working there.
Try it to experience what a car is capable of.

Only criticisms would be not nearly enough time with the time instructors, it’s hard to learn much of anything on a couple of laps. I would have appreciated knowing my lap times and if in fact I got faster as the laps went on.

L. C.First time here on Sunday (15th Augist 2021). Fantastic circuit. Very well signposted to different areas. Good paths enabling you to walk round the outside of while circuit. Good selection of vendors (a wee bit pricey but that is same at all circuits). Good viewing areas and able to get close to the action. Getting out was well organised and the guy on the top exit in the high viz (Alba Traffic Management) was hillariois with his hand signals and keeping us smiling. Can't wait to go again.

Knockhill is an amazing place so much to do so much going on its great if you've not been your missing out
p. r.Son had a Trackdays driving experience. Well organised, covid precautions in place and great instructors on track. Only minor downside was the cost of some extras like pictures and videos, but you don't have to buy them I suppose! All in all he had a really great, memorable day.

E.Went last year a couple of times. Nice area to just get out for the day. Different experiences every month. I went for the Paul Walker tribute and the American Muscle car show. I love mustang's and there was so many in one place. Made me want one even more!! Great atmosphere. Take sun tan lotion!! Even in the clouds I still got burnt.
G. M.Highly recommend Teen 1, Teen 2, Teen Rally. It has given my son confidence in his driving and the rally was great fun. The track is quiet with covid restrictions but the instructors are so friendly and provide lots of positive feedback. Particular thanks to Richard and Nick who were my son's instructors - he really enjoyed it. Highly recommend. For Rally, it is better to have a bit of driving experience so you can just get on with the handbrake turns! 😊

A. B.Supercar Experience was really good, even in the pouring rain. Excellent, friendly coaching from the two instructors, Ronan and Alan. Aston Martin unfortunately broke down before I could get a turn, but was offered a rebooking or upgrade to the Ferrari instead. Took the Ferrari and wasn’t disappointed. Well worth a go!

D. H.Just did the BSB weekend. Fantastic. Really well organised. Lots of signage, helpful marshals, wide variety of concessions. The track itself is great with so many places to get good views and pics, you can walk the whole perimeter of the circuit so lots of choice. There's plenty of parking but the wind can get a little lively so bring an extra woolly!

J. B.Had a great day here for the BTCC. Arrival was a bit of a pain, queue onto site along the road wasn't for too long. Then it seemed to take forever to get past ticket checks. Hold up was people paying on the day, could do with a separate lane for pre-booked or pay on gate. The marshalling to the car parking space was very efficient. Food facilities were excellent, not too badly priced and plenty available. Toilets used were filthy and inefficient. The sink in the cubicle meant the queue was even longer. Not really to do with Knockhill but annoying that people were standing on benches blocking the views of people behind, when they had a perfectly good view had they remained seated. Could do with better signage/directions around the track, most of the time we just followed the crowd! Overall though a good day and saw quite a bit of racing.
K. M.Visited Knockhill on Thursday for a ‘hot lap’ in the BMW M4. Was expecting it to be interesting to unlikely to have them really show me what the car could do - boy was I wrong!
The driver Alan was amazing. Really put the car through its paces while also explaining what he was doing. Fantastic, would recommend to anyone as a gift for your petrolhead family or friends!

Parking on grassy hills can be a bit dodgy when it's wet (which is most of the time 😆)

R. M.Go here to watch BTCC every year. Great track with good facilities. access is quite good, but queing is to be expected. Well signposted and easy to get to. Not loads of shelter, but there is a covered grandstand, As to be expected from this kind of event it's mega busy, but there are plenty of toilet facilities to cope, as well as cafe etc..
I. G.Went karting with dad's and boys, was fantastic fun. It rained all the way there and I was concerned that nobody would enjoy it.... How wrong I was, the wet track made it so much more fun with the karts sliding and spinning around. The stewards quickly got the spinners back running again and we're very helpful.
We were all kitted out in good waterproof clothing when we got there by a very nice man who gently and effectively brought our over excited 8 year olds down to a sensible level of excitement. After a brilliant run we all got time sheets which added to the whole experience.
We had delicious burgers at the bistro which were a reasonable price and served by friendly and helpful staff. Afterwards we wondered around and got to see some racing and cars in the paddock, an unexpected bonus which everyone enjoyed. Thoroughly enjoyed our day out, the kids left buzzing saying we have to do that again, the dads the same. I highly recommend going even if you are not into cars or motorsports as it is a great laugh
V. M. (.A short but challenging race course that contains corners with a twist (literally).
Different packages are available on the internet but if you're clever enough just buy the basics online and upgrade at the course on the day for roughly half (1/2) the price...... bargain 👍.
Plenty Toilets are available (for people who can't take the pressure 😂) and 2 Bistro's as well (1 each either end).
There are different kind of activities to be had such as Rally course, Advanced driving, karting and more.
All in all a good day out for The Driving-Enthusiastic Person (Women, Man and youngsters alike).

G. C.Booked a 10 year olds birthday party. 5 boys karting for 20mins but the experience was more like a full hour with a bit of viewing beforehand, getting kitted out, watching the safety dvd, the karting and then the awards at the end.
I honestly cannot recommend the experience or the staff highly enough. They were superb!!

And behind the wheel too.
10 laps in a legend series 1200cc.
10 laps in a formula series with an audi engine..
And then to Finnish off the day......
20 mins competitive karting between everyone in the session.
The staff and instructors were all fantastic.
Easy to follow instructions.
Super day out.
Would Highley recommend it.
B. S. c.A great track with awesome facilities and amenities. Good levels of accessible seating. There is uneven ground and some gradients, but they really have done all they can to make sure anyone can get track side action.
You can get so close to the action.

T. M.Excellent day out to be had at knockhill. This was my first experience of seeing racecars at a track. All the teams are friendly and inviting, got to check out the cars and talk to drivers. Facilities at the track are good and you can grab some food at the cafe/restaurant. Card is accepted for both tickets and food.

T. M.Jaguar Land Rover invited me to one of their launch events of the new Jaguar E pace. This event was a great way of showcasing their fleet of cars.
They allowed us to race all their cars on different tracks and they had pro racing drivers to either show you what to do or take you around the track at brown bottom speeds.

K. M.Bought a super car experience for the other half. He loved the driving but the queues were a bit annoying. Having a 6-month old in tow did make it tough as facilities aren't geared towards little ones. Thank goodness the sun was shining!!

C.My first visit here was to spend the weekend watching the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) during the Scottish summer of 2018 and even though the organisers cannot guarantee that the weather will be great ☔, they do their very best to make everyone who turns out to enjoy every minute of their day. A very well organised event with access for race fans of all shapes, sizes and ages. Unlike many other motorsports venues they even allow access to the entire track after the cars have finished duelling, and you never know what you can pick up as a momento of the day's events.

M. M.Fantastic day out for my sons birthday on the Go-kart track. Great viewing position for the grandparents. Good safety brief and support from the marshals. Felt safe and well organised. Booking is not too complex though sometimes confusing as the parent not driving myself. Good parking and access as all on one level. Toilets on site. Cafe available. Good feedback on the race provided by overhead monitors. If you are looking for a good day out for a big group look no further. Staff helpful throughout.
G. G.Fantastic day out for all the family! There's ear defenders available from the merchandise shop for the younger ones, and the circuit has a couple of places to get lunch at a reasonable price! Great venue for experience days including rally driving, sports cars and a skid pan. Knockhill is a real treasure of fife.

D. N.Knockhill circuit is a great event. Good views of the track from any positions around the circuit. Reasonable restaurants with a variety of food available. Tends to be a bit crowded trying to exit the track on major events. On the whole, a very pleasant place to visit., (Weather permitting)

Ladies toilets near the hairpin bend could do with a major refurbishment.
Exiting the circuit each night after racing is taking longer due to increased spectator numbers...Good for the sport but not for the spectator!!!
I was happy to see most folk disposing their rubbish in bins. These are emptied at regular intervals.
Well done to the staff at the circuit....cleaners, marshalls, first aiders, car park attendants, catering staff and everyone else who contributes to make this a great day out....

S. T.If you wish to travel north for some fantastic close to the action racing then Knockhill is the place to go. Viewing from the campsite to the infield is amongst the best viewing of any circuit in the UK and all along the start/finish straight from the hairpin to the podium/ circuit off there are sleeper style benches to sit and watch. These seats are set in rows and tiers and genuinely give and excellent view of the track and tv screens ( when there are tv screens for main events). The welcome from the staff and the hospitality and helpfulness really are top notch. ALL the staff i spoke to were more than friendly and helpful and are a credit to the circuit and Scotland. The only down side and or dissapointment if i have to mention any were the toilet facilities within the campsite were just about adequate and the cost of food from the various vendors was extortionate. The toilet issue i guess depends on what you are there to watch. We went for the BSB 2022 and in fairness it was fantastic weather mostly and record crowds however a few portaloos would of made a huge difference. Overall be prepared to take your own food rather than use the onsite vendors(the onsite restaurants i cant comment because i didnt use them) and be prepared for bad weather but you cant hold knochill responsible for that. A great gem of a circuit well worth a visit and yes i will be going again.

C.I haven’t been to Knockhill for many years, my son bought tickets for BTCC so looked forward to a good day of racing, getting to the circuit is really easy and well signposted, Disabled Parking was great I was parked looking onto the pit exit could have sat in car and viewed all the races but good weather allowed us to go to raised Disabled access platforms, (the only issue here is that other wheelchair users could not use the area as some ignorant able bodied people continually used the area standing up on wall or used seating areas, this made it difficult for wheelchair users elderly etc to get on the platform or get a good view) this is no fault of Knockhill racing circuit but the able bodied public should be more considerate as a lot of disabled people won’t speak up, the Disabled toilets facilities are not suitable for wheelchair users they are far to small, But I have been in contact with Knockhill’s director of events and been told that they will improve issues I have raised with them for next year, hopefully this will be the case as Knockhill have done a great job with disabled parking & viewing areas especially at the hairpin & at the pit exit which gives a good view of straight going into duffs dip, still a great day of racing at Knockhill for everyone to enjoy plenty of food vendors, wheelchair users can also get around easily on the astro turfed areas so could easily be at a lot of viewing areas around the track,

The circuit is the most customer focused on the BSB calendar. Plenty of seating and good cover against the rain;which is a regular occurrence

M.Spent the full weekend in camper for the British Touring Car Championship BTCC 2017, it was an excellent weekend 'racing festival' and it's a real treat that it comes to knockhill.
d. w.Enjoy going to watch the BSB as I travel from the High Peak Derbyshire for it. Great veiwing and good big screen coverage. Dislike been ripped of for a coffee £4 and a basic cheeseburger and chips £9 which wasn't anything to write home about. Oh and cash only although they advertise contact payment.

M. D.Knockhill is where to be in Scotland if you like fast cars and bikes. Great facilities for competitors and spectators alike. There is a great selection of tasty food and snacks for sit in and takeaway. Disabled spectators can also park adjacent to the track in some areas, which allows them to watch all the action from the comfort of their own vehicle.

H. L. P.Knockhill is the Premier Racing Circuit in Scotland. The racing is wonderful. They are excellently organised, so there are not huge gaps between each race. You have the ability to choose were you wish to sit. The food vendors provide excellent quality produce.
R. N.Went for rally cross was a fun experience a lot different compared to other race tracks I've been to. Food was slightly on the expensive side but that was made up by the quality of the burgers but the bacon rolls where a let down. Lots of toilet facilities unlike other venues and the possibility of being able to sit in your car and watch a large portion of the racing during the rain is a big plus.
G. H.It can be a great day out if the racing is good. However the facilities at the back of the circuit are really poor. If you visit don't forget to pack extra clothes. It's fairly high above sea level for a facility like this, so the weather can be unpredictable. Just had 10 Celsius in August!

The staff at knockhill are always helpful and great to deal with from track experience days to full on race meetings the track is short but is great to drive round also hosts BSB and BTCC races would always recommend a visit.

B. J.Family run circuit north of dunfermline, always feel welcome, good facilities including clubhouse. Excellent views from almost anywhere trackside. Wish they would level campsite for us poor folk who can't afford a camper. Having said that, they must have spent a fortune on seating and shelters. We are going yet again this year for bsb, then Cadwell for same. Can't wait.Update November 22.have recently bought tickets for the BSB At Knockhill as we were suffering from withdrawal, also have booked for Cadwell. Two of the most exciting circuits in the universe, apologies to Donnington and Mugello. Anyone reading this, please take a moment to remember Chrissy Rouse, Victor Steeman, Keith Farmer and the legend who was Phil Read. God forbid there are any more casualties this year.

m. p.So I went here at the weekend never been before it was very nice place to visit parking was a little difficult but there was a event on so not really a complaint there was various stands that you could buy souvenirs and other things there was some catering vans around the site too and there is also a restraunt here but was a bit expensive.... anyway the races where a treat to watch and there was ample seating around the ground.... there was also the "Orange army" whom are unpaid volunteers which I did not know until I spoke to one they are very important folk who do the various tasks around the ground. Anyway it was a very nice time to have and I would return another time.

The event was highly entertaining in itself, there are various stalls and burger vans to splash out on, as per most events these places are not cheap, knockhill itself is well managed. There are plenty of lavatories and cleaning facilities should you choose to stay for the weekend, the staff around the track are kind and friendly and will help you out as best as they can. Overall a great experience and will be back for many more times to come.

N. H.BTCC 2021, racing great, facilities great with seating around the track. Every lunchtime a van went round the track dropping of meals and drinks for the volunteer Marshalls. Never seen that happen at any other race circuit. Camping was good with plenty of room.

One problem - not linked with the race course... roaster advanced riders using novice sessions.
One guy wheelying at 120mph plus on a yamaha R6. One other guy lapping everyone regularly. Cheapskates. Heated tires, changes of tyres. What sort of beginners are these 😆
Stick with your skillset, especially when beginners don't know the track well, have no mirrors and undertaking aswell as overtaking is legitimate, add to this insurance is null and void and wet conditions.

D. M.I always enjoy going to Knockhill either for a race day or track event. Everything is properly organised and the toilets are well maintained. The circuit is quite high up in the hills overlooking the bridges over the Forth and it can be chilly, even in the summer, so pack an extra jumper just in case.

For the BTCC and BSB the ticket prices are obviously more expensive, but I think for a days entertainment from 9am until 6pm it's far better value than a Scottish Premier or Champions league football match.

By the end, I was doing decent lap times.
The only thing is the tires were a bit mushy and sticky by the end. :D
Highly recommended if you want to get to know your car better.

The restaurant has amazing, I like my food and am very critical when it comes to food, we had the Scottish burgers along with chicken coujons for Darius. WOW great flavour and nice cafe with lovely staff.

S. C.I went along with some friends attending a track day. Hadn't been for a few years so the upgrades to the viewing areas were quite noticable. There are new benches in several areas and astroturf type matting in a lot of places were it used to get muddy 👍 which should help on wet days. The toilet facilities seemed better than I remembered although there were relatively few people in attendance. Will definitely consider some competitive events but prices for the bigger ones are steep.

My son had the privilege and pleasure of Bob Watson giving him his rally experience. He was smiling from ear to ear with legs like jelly and a heart content of happiness and awe.

We arrived early so went to the cafe for something to eat and the food was great and affordable. The experience itself was great and worth the money!

J.We had a great time at the Go-Karting in Knockhill today, the staff made us very welcome ensuring we all managed to get kitted out correctly for the endurance race.It started of very wet but the staff explained what to do so that we were not to bad spinning in the wet. They helped make the event fun so that everyone enjoyed it . A big Thank you goes out to the staff.
I. B.Was there for the ford live day, very good day. Extremely strong smell of something "funny" at the lockups. Lots of people were talking about that.

C. Y.Camped here for the BTCC 2017. I would 100% recommend this circuit. Small track with some great action. I sat on the hairpin and would again for good viewing. Friendly staff here and good cooked food on site. All in all a great experience

D. H.A small but very nice circuit which I love and have been to a lot. It is 1000 feet up a Scottish mountain and has weather to match, so going there without good outdoor clothing is rash. There are a lot of viewing points, and traffic management at the biggest events is usually very good. Hard to get to without a car or motorcycle. Not much covered viewing. Food on site is reasonable and commentary is usually good.

G. 8.Good venue, friendly helpful staff, good kit on offer. Went for a track day and as enjoyable as it was, it would be made much better with a few simple improvements. Having the laps timed would be a simple thing to improve with. Also as the track was incredibly busy I had 14 laps and only one of them I was able to actually get my foot down without getting stuck behind a honda training car or one of the many ofter trackday cars...also the harness straps kept coming loose in the single seater.
Its a good venue with a good set up and I would encourage others to go have a go, but it seems it could be made excellent with some simple improvements.

R. M.Been here a few times to watch BTCC great weekend out for all the family, even get to interact with drivers and walk through the paddock see all the different cars. Only downside was roads in and out of circuit are bumpy and uneven, my car scraped at a few points over the weekend.

G. v. O.We went on a two day trip from Amsterdam tot Duns tot visit the recently opened Jim Clark museum and while we had some spare time we decided to go to Knockhill. I love these clubtracks in the middle of nature. It was on a tuesday and the director took us four laps on the track. Both days are a fantastic memory!

g. t.Good UK track for viewing. Pretty much any position around it gives you a good view of the action. With the track being relatively short you see more laps and the riders come past more often. Also with the new rain shelters you can dive for cover when the inevitable shower comes.

Track follows some decent sized hill contours making viewing easier as can see a lot of the track from some positions. Can be exposed so wrap up warm although some viewing areas are covered to make it more cosy. Remember to bring a chair

m. h.I undertook the ultimate challenge today, great experience since we arrived at driver registration first thing in morning until we left following our days driving challenges. All staff were great from explaining the drivers briefing to driving tips and instructions from the highly experienced driving team. First class and would highly recommend. You will not be shocked at what you may learn on the day as I did.
Honda type r, single seater, go-carts and rally experience. I will most certainly return.
