Reviews of Blantyre Leisure Centre
S. C.I used the main pool here. It's nothing fancy, no water slides or flumes, but it's absolutely fine for a swim. There is also a small children's pool for the wee ones.
I must also say that each time I have been here the staff have been extremely kind and helpful - I was with a disabled person and they couldn't do enough to make our visit easier, even finding a suitable changing cubicle for us. So a big thank you to Lynn and all the team, you are appreciated 😊
A. O.Decent equipment, the pool is small but nice. The steam room is good and hot. Everything in good condition, so far it's worth the monthly fee.
C. C.Good pool but changing rooms and toilets are not very clean. Toilet bowls are disgusting. Sinks nearly hanging off walls. After all the time shut thought it might have given them a chance to CLEAN the toilets and changing rooms.
Little pool not being open is ridiculous. Why is it shut. Been told it was staff shortages but surely they could get staff.

A.A good gym and swimming pool with everything you need to keep fit.
The staff are always helpful and friendly, everyone that goes to this gym is the same. When you first go to the gym the staff show you how every machine works until you fully understand for your safety. Which is clearly very important to the staff here. The staff in the swimming are much the same.
The gym is clean and everyone wipes down machines after use, this has always been what people do before and after covid. The swimming pool isn't quite as clean and is a bit aged but as of writing this they are doing renovations.
The leisure centre has good value for money you can either pay a monthly fee for a membership that includes all of South Lanarkshire or pay when you arrive. It's very cheap to pay when you go but if you are a regular you are better buying a membership.
The leisure centre is great with everything you need, the pool is a bit aged but as I say they are doing a renovation right now. I will update my review to a 5 star if they succeed there. Good leisure centre.
