The Ground was opened in 1995 after a period of ground sharing with Hamilton and Partick Thistle,following their departure from their old shawfield ground in 1986.With a capacity of over 8 ,000 its has only three stands all are smart though with windshields at either side,an intresting fact that Broadwood is the highest ground above see level in scotland

Forget the stadium and walk around the loch, it’s only 2 mins walk from the stadium and it’s a nice walk with lots of wild life to see. Roughly 1.75 miles all the way around. Quite flat ground in most places. Wear wellies or boots in the winter. It has a couple of play parks along the route for kids (1-10 years old) to enjoy.

In general broadwood is a good gym and a nice facility I went for a walk round the Loch behind the facilities unfortunately I was not impressed as there were either no sign posts during the walk to tell me how to get back to the car parks or when I was able to go I have submitted some feedback to ask North Lanarkshire Council to place some signs for people to know where they're going as as an example of anyone with orientation problems can and we'll get easily lost this is just my thoughts but it's something that needs to be looked at

Not a bad stadium, but in the coldest place in the world. During a heatwave I still needed a jacket! Plenty of space to park in their car park.

Great stadium for our team to visit and the boys really enjoyed playing. Didn’t get to use any of the facilities as such, just the pitch.

Took my wee boy for soft play. It is slightly limited, but of a size that you can keep an eye on them. Good if you have them registered for swimming lessons as during the week its cheaper for them

Just recently joined to improve my fitness staff helpful with showing how to use the equipment and lessons available included in membership one suggestion there's always too many faulty pieces of equipment on every visit get your maintenance team in there ( N L L ) also good tip to walk round the Loch as a warm up before the gym weather permitting

Nice place if you're interested in sports, big enough soft play for children and stadium. It's nice quality and we'll maintained. The only shame as there is no swimming pool which would greatly benefit Broadwood LC

Modern and big, all the gym equipment you'll need, great value. I use the tennis courts, could use a little more upkeep but perfectly acceptable. Staff are lovely, but I do feel they are understaffed in reception. Love the soft play bring my daughter there every now and then. The bike course, and grounds including the lock is a really nice addition. Charging your car here is also a great plus.

I don't know a lot about broadwood leisure centre other than there are classes for gymnastics. I was only dropping my granddaughter off there

Good facilities and a decent gym. Had a very successful birthday party for a four year old boy there too. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The softplay area is bigger than expected and nice and clear too, plus has a wee cafe for adults to coffee while the kids do play.

Some excellent facilities including a comprehensive gym, badminton courts, tennis courts, BMX track, dojo, spin studio, exercise class studios, children's soft play area. Reception, gym and cafe staff are all friendly and approachable. Personal niggles are the high sound levels during classes and the poor management response to client complaints.

Love the music. Tremendous. Not sure if it's tiesto or David Guetta they hire, however keep it up. I cycle past my local gym to get to this one for the tunes. - Tryst and Broadwood both excellent gyms with excellent facilities and excellent staff. Both 5 star.

This sports facility is a hub of activity in this part of cumbernauld. Watch a football match or the BMX racers on the track at the back. Even walking in this area is beautiful. A great gym and a hive of social activities. A great place for local people and anyone who visits.

Great facilities. Visited yesterday for my 1.1 coaching course. Been before for other reasons including Taekwon-do grading for my son. Gym looks good in there too however haven't been. Good cafe too.

First visit to watch my grandson play football in a 5 side tournament. Situated round the side of the stadium there is a good number of pitches for the young kids which are fenced off but with enough room for parents and supporters to watch the games. Very enjoyable.

Great facility. All my family make use of it and the surrounding area. Kids and adult football with colts in the community. Gymnastics and a modern gymnasium. As well as a BMX track with team. Can't rate Broadwood highly enough.

Go to Broadwood for kids football 4v4. Generally well organised in terms of football games for the kids with an excellent playing surface. The addition of the cafe in the stand is a good facility for parents and fans. Stewards help the parking direction and is a smooth operation.
