Been going there for around 25 years. Used to be Rileys, who ran it into the ground. The ballroom took over and invested heavily. Now it's a buzzing place with plenty of atmosphere, pool & snooker tables, darts, music, etc. Burger and pizza meals also available. Beer and food prices reasonable. Quieter during the day which is a bonus if you want to chill. My only gripe - bring back the table tennis table!

We normally go for a couple of games of snooker, the facilities in the ball room are a higher standard compared to other snooker halls across Glasgow. Great place for pool, snooker and even just a drink, nice bar area with booths for food and drinks

I went through a period of absolute dominance against my mates and I felt like the master of the universe, until I potted the white after the black at which point I felt like a tube.

Overall no real complaints. Food is your standard pub grub but all was good. Plenty of pool tables and mix between UK and US. Service was decent. Only problem was trying to get served as it was very busy pre Scotland game and there could have been a better way of coordinating all. Would go back however and certainly good for before an event at Hampden due to location.

Great tables, great staff, great place 😁 If you're a pool/snooker geek, then I'd definitely recommend it. In fact, if you're just a sports geek, I'd recommend it. Always something to watch on a multitude of screens and/or a multitude of tables. They also do decent food as well. Fairly big place with enough space to play comfortably. Gets pretty busy at times though sonmoght be worth phoning ahead to book a table of you're there for the dayor whatever. Decent packages available for walk in players and memberships available with discounts if you're a bit more serious about your game. Been going every week for almost a year and never had any trouble. Love it...😍

Great tables, good atmosphere and reasonable priced, only downside was £5 for a pint of corona beer, SHOCKING!! (Update) to the ball room's reply, wetherspoons sell a pint of draft corona for £2.99 so you ain't the cheapest!

Great bar? Won Sports Bar awards? Yes and yes. Great bar, great staff and the price is reasonable. I went to visit for a pool tournament (Great tables by the way with lots to offer) but in general terms I mostly go for table tennis. The table could be a bit better placed (there is tables for people to eat and drink near you) bit if you turn it around it's great. Soft Drinks are a little on the expensive side (alcohol okay) but other than that, honestly no complaints. Food is great too. 2 dishes for £10. We got the pizza and nachos which I have to say, were better than expected for £10.

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, haven't tried a lot of the food on the menu but the burgers are great, especially the Man Vs Burger challenge. It's not on a main road, maybe that helps with the lack of undesirables in the place because I've never seen one (I'm talking junkies and alkies). Decent music always on and if it's not to your taste, hit up the jukebox which, if I remember correctly, has the top 40 for each week going back to the 50s. Great wee pub.

Huge amount of both US and UK pool tables, all good quality! Hire based on time - pay for the amount of time you play as opposed to per game. 4 dartboards (3 of which are easily accessible). Sometimes a ping pong table is available to use also. Darts, ping pong bats, pool cues/balls all available from behind the bar. The bar itself is moderately priced for beer and soft drinks - spirits are more expensive. Coffee also served. Food served here - very inexpensive bar food. Big screens showing major sports events and radio/music playlists playing at other times

Last time I was there, there was many of the American Pool tables, a jukebox and movie trivia game. The pool table but 3 have been replaced by the smaller UK pool tables. No jukebox or trivia game. Young and old people can enjoy this place. No trouble here at all. Drought coke was watered down a bit.
