I have visited here for many years on occasion and have started to use it regular with my teenage kids. Staff have been there years, friendly and busy with a large bar area both inside and outside showing Sky sports and serving decent food at good prices. Snooker downstairs 30 tables with a few pool tables, average price £14 for 2 hours. Upstairs American pool bar again large, toilets and bar on both floors. My Kids and mates love it for something to do for a few hours. Highly recommend.

Hadn't been here for about 25 years, and very little had changed, apart from a lot more playing tables, which wasn't a bad thing. The service was helpful and friendly and the tables were well looked after and good. Membership is cheap, but the light time is expensive, though there are offers to reduce the cost. Was there early morning and car parking was plentiful and free, though not sure how it would be at peak times! Will certainly be back.

We have been a few times now. It’s always a great time, especially upstairs as it’s a bit more lively with the music. Sean and Charlie were great. We booked 5 of the American pool tables for a works social. We got our own area separate to the other tables and a seating area and a place for the food. Everybody has been telling me what a great time they have had. The staff were really friendly and helpful which really helped to make the evening.

Usual trip to the northern today, but decided to play some pool, and I’m so glad I did! First of all I was greeted by a lovely member of staff called Charlie. He showed us to our table and was lovely. Props to him. Then, we played for about 2 hours all the while enjoying the upbeat music, lovely food, and lovely atmosphere. Never been to the stateside part before and I’ve been coming 10 years! Would recommend this spot to anyone in the Leeds area whether you play or not. Lovely staff, lovely food, and lovely tables. 🙌🙌🙌

Been a few times now. Played American pool as they didn’t have any free downstairs. Very cheap beer and reasonably priced food. Really good afternoon with my son. Service was great too. Charlie was very friendly. Will definitely return!

Me and my dad went down this morning to play some snooker. Excellent tables, service and venue. I love the idea of a snooker bar and it is definitely worth a visit on the way down to the city centre. The bar staff were absolutely amazing and my dad and myself highly reccomend it. We will definitely be the new regulars!

Read all of the other reviews and you will see that it’s an amazing venue. Top quality. I just find it ridiculously hot in there. I think the ceilings are too low and there is not enough ventilation.

Brilliant place, not just snooker but 9 ball on American pool tables and red's and yellows on English pub tables as well. Food and drink more than fairly priced. All in all a fun time out very reasonably priced.

Went to the Northern Snooker Centre yesterday afternoon for a bit of pool with my old uni mate and my two kids. Great place to catch up. Thank you specifically to Charlie for the service, and to whoever was controlling the music. Had some right bangers on! Not too pricy either. Why would I recommend the Northern Snooker Centre not just because of the obvious things which stand out to any one who visits which are the quality tables good value for money with the table pricing and drinks offers no for me it is the standard of service and friendly atmosphere where you are always made to feel at home.From the warm welcome you receive at reception from Vanessa the mainstay of the club to the great bar staff who make me feel like I’m walking into ‘Cheer’s’.

All or the staff were absoloutely lovely to deal with (special thanks to Donovan and Sean who were particularly helpful). Always love visiting this place and know it will be worthwhile. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the whole ambiance of the place is enough to more than satisfy. There are pool tables upstairs and snooker tables on the ground level, they do tea and coffee as well as alcohol and non alcoholic beverages and an excellent menu for snacking on. Give it a go. You may have a small admission to pay as a non member but nevertheless,, this for a player of pool or snooker is a small price to pay for your enjoyment!

Excellent pool center, by far one of the cleanest, professional and social pool center I have ever been to. Prices are not bad, however you do need loan a good que to play as the standard ones are terrible. Facilitates pool and snooker with two floors. Highly recommended.

This is just an all round great bar. I used to come here in 2009, loved it then and love it now. Prefer the stateside bar upstairs. Americab theme. Loads of pool tables, plenty of space, quiz machine, good music, juke box, decent food, sport on tv, cheap beer... what more can i say!

Great club. A bit pricey compared to others I've been to but the overall majority of the tables are very good so I guess you get what you pay for. Had a couple of tables that weren't perfect, but 90% of the time they're level and the cloths are well maintained. Some tables are heated and are much faster to play on. The cues racked up on the wall are American pool style cues and are not suited to snooker, but you can rent a half decent cue for £1.50 if you don't have your own with you. Staff are always really welcoming and friendly. They offer food and a good range of drinks. Nice area by the bar where they have sport on. Overall atmosphere and décor are great. Toilets are kept clean as well which is always nice!

Ive always come here to play pool. I love the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that they take care of the tables. They do have both English and American pool tables upstairs. Snooker is downstairs. Parking is a bit of an issue with most people parking on the double yellow lines outside. If you're not a member it will cost a small fee for entrance on very busy days. And £10 deposit for pool. You do get that back. I do recommend this place.

Many years this snooker place has been here,the reasons why are clear,great top class facilities,good tables,with an actual world snooker match play table as the central attraction. Food is what you would expect and the bar is well stocked. Very good value for money and a great place to spend a couple of hours with your mates.

Obviously a snooker centre with a lot of history, good staff and great tables. But the prices are among the highest in the country, much higher than its competitors. The staff don't really like the management because of constant price hikes, sometimes charging over £14 an hour for a normal snooker table!

Great place to chill and play a bit of pool. Drinks are reasonably priced with many drinks specials daily. Food is excellent and again a reasonable price. All the tables are in excellent condition and refurbished regularly.

Snooker tables are, in general, in good condition . But the hall could do with a good sweep and clean up. Staff seem generally not so bothered about customer service. The clientele is rather mixed and often include some unsavoury loud characters intent on ruining the evening for everyone else. The bouncers .... well, what can I say. Why are they needed anyway? I have been there a few times and likely to go again as I do not know any other clubs in the centre of Leeds, which is one if the best things about this place.
