Veryfriendly team,the morning receptionist for the past three days has been fantastic works very hard has time for everyone and doesnt get flustered even though its a very busy area. All areas are clean, gym has a good range of equipment and is well maintained, pools are clean but small although 25 m, width is narrow but works well for what it is

This place has recently been refurbished especially the gym area. This offer great other services to local community eg. Swimming lesson ( very hard to get a place at least in my experience), tennis, other excercises with a trainer etc. It does offer free parking on site . Take extra care when using the gym especially on this pandemic time bcz people often do not clean the equipments ( leisure Centre do provide cleaning liquid and tissues) . Overall it's good place.

Only 2 showers for men and it gets clogged up! I therefore refuse to use it for hygiene reasons! I have seen queues as well for the shower! Gym is ok though!

I love it. It has lots of different clubs involving all types of sports and a gym session with 2 pools. You can either learn how to use all of this or have fun there. It even has a convenient row of shops down the road with a partnering school beside it and clubs all throughout the holidays. The only bad thing is that it used to have Tuesdays still available for public swim whereas now you have a whole learning day till 6pm. Apart from this issue, it comes with senior swim and baby swim. The 2 pools are massively different as one has shallow getting deeper and one is small with warm water. Another issue is that the deep pool is always freezing and you can never get warm. Those were the only problems for me. Sorry for the long paragraph and I hope you have a good time!

Staff was lovely, The pool was a welcome surprise and the facilities was enough to get me going; though the weight machines are appropriate, it could have been better if they had a barbell or squat rack (understandably this is absent for safety purposes). Lastly, hopefully someone can put down gym etiquette reminders especially after or even during using weights equipments. (Like not having a conversation on the machines or always making sure to clean up/wipe after) Note: I have since left the center not because i did not like ot there anymore but i managed tk get a treadmill and weights at home

Place needs updating, gyms a bit small, no free/lose weights. Changing rooms are dated, need a decent shower, also smell a bit. Could do with a coffee shop aswell, while you wait for hour kids or partners. Teaching staff are very good!

Fantastic leisure centre with a real village community feel. The pool is great for families or if you want to swim alone. The gym has excellent quality equipment which is well maintained and there is always someone around to ask a question about fitness. The leisure centre also has a hall for indoor sports like badminton etc and there is also a place for exercise classes. Parking is free. All in all it's a gem of a place.

Located conveniently for residents of Evington & surrounding areas. I visit for gym-related activities on late morning. Can be crowded at times. The centre is modern, clean and with a generally relaxed atmosphere. Nice & helpful reception area. Good value for money!

Actually given this more stars now. Still in desperate need a refit EVERYWHERE with pretty much new EVERYTHING, however, the young lady who is now normally on reception is so nice and pleasant, I've also started to use a personal trainer who just started talking to me last week, pretty much the first one to do so and engage me at the same time. Getting better Leicester city council but please ..... SPEND SOME MONEY ON THE GYM AREA AND GET A CLOCKING IN MACHINE FOR GYM MEMBERS AS HAVING TO WAIT AGES AT TIMES IS FUSTRATING !!!!

Me and my sister & Dad love this friendly warm place. Everyone is so chilled and happy, from reception to the trainers. We mostly use the Fitness Suite, which is our bit of me-time. The trainer Chinna is the best, and Robbie and Chet are very knowledgeable too. Although it is hard work and the treadmill is always popular, we always look forward to using the facilities here. Highly Recommended!

Visited the gym yesterday. Friendly front desk. Plenty of food vending machines near reception. Gym machines are too close to each other because there isn't enough space. During peak times machines have a 20 minutes maximum time limit, understandably. Sweat smell hits you as you enter gym. No smiles from gym receptionists unlike front desk. The gym has potential for more stars!!!.

Swimming pool has excellent teachers. The pools aren't brilliant. Ok if you are a leisure swimmer but rarely any lanes for swimming, and changing rooms aren't great. Can't comment on the gym.

Gym is just basic, very old machines and weight section is a joke, so small u wont b able to work out bcause theres too many people using the free weights. Swimming pool is good size.x4 stars is to Recommended kids swimming, Chris is the swimming coach for kids, she's great, good teacher

Very cosy. The ladies swimming hours should be more than 2 hours. I suggest to have a whole day women only once a week as a start for the swimming pool Activity in summer times.

Overpriced with limited services avaliable . I often have to wait for machines that are popular but are lacking in numbers.

We visit twice weekly and you do see some queuing at busy times near the entrance. The pool is always busy between 4-6pm with kids swimming lessons. Changing rooms can do with more frequent cleaning, hence why it didn’t get 5* rating.
