We really enjoyed a bit of family time at Urban Putters. We laughed all the way round the golf. It is a fantastic set up with loads to offer and once the golf course has been extended we will be back to have a go. The relaxed atmosphere is fantastic. To be able to relax with a drink while playing pool and use the photo booth was great. This place is ideal for teenagers too! The staff are super friendly and helpful, which is always a winner. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Came here with my partner and a friend this past weekend and had a blast, however, the axes were pretty worn out and instead of getting new ones, they just taped them back together. Not saying that is a bad thing as they worked well unless you accidentally broke them, but it would’ve been nice to have had wood or fibreglass handles to hold on to. Also there was one game where you could throw multiple axes at the target which for me, as someone who has previously coached axe throwing, seemed incredibly dangerous. Besides those things, we really really enjoyed ourselves and the games that we were able to play during our hour and would 100% come back and recommend to other people. Also our instructor was really nice and knowledgeable, although I do wish he would’ve been more hands on.

Axed offers multiple game modes to challenge your friends at for bragging rights and in general is just so much fun. Shane our instructor was a real character and really made the whole experience that much more fun. Would highly recommend as the whole experience is amazing.

Came here for the first time on Sunday 5th. Greeted and instructed by Shane, who was absolutely brilliant. Great sense of humour, too, which I suppose you need in an axe-throwing establishment. Also as a fellow weapons nerd, I very much enjoyed meeting Bennie. If you know, you know. We like it enough to want to come here regularly. :)

Went with a group from work. Easy to find and plenty of parking. First time axe throwing and had some fun. The only change I would make is to have the scores on the image display on the target area to make easier for scoring yourselves. Friendly and helpful team. Need transport to get there not an ideal walk to the location, as at the back of an industrial park.

The actual axe throwing was amazing. However, our console/projector didn't work with the 4 standard games and there was nothing done to rectify this. The staff were overwhelmed by the mass of people which delayed us starting our hour. An enjoyable experience but could have been made better.

This was fun. Four of us popped into here for a birthday treat. The Axe throwing was harder than I thought. Staff were good and friendly and are easily on hand to help us work out the scoreboard. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already tried this activity. We had a fun hour here.

We got there 30 mins early, checked in and sat down with a drink whilst we waited for our time slot. At the time of our slot we were told to wait 5 mins due to a lack of staff as it was busy (there’s limited lanes, and pre-booked so they must have been aware of the footfall). Seemed like it was a problem due to us rather than the staff owning the time delay. We got onto our lane and started, was great fun. They have various games set up, but only 4 out of 8 worked. Would go ac throwing again, but wouldn’t go back to the Lincoln base

Had an absolute blast at Axed Lincoln. Being the first time I’d visited the experience, I wasn’t sure what to entirely expect, but had a great time from start to finish! The exterior of the premises is deceiving… once inside you realise you’re in for something different - and extremely enjoyable! Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and always at hand for your every needs. The idea of throwing an axe for fun and entertainment sounds bizarre, but is incredibly satisfying… and brilliant stress relief! The experience is great value for money and is a great social event for friends and relatives alike. Love it and will be going time and time again.

We ran late, although we rang ahead and the staff were very accomodating. Making sure we still got the entire time that was booked. I don't think any of our group anticipated the treck we went on to get there, as the group members who had lived in Lincoln previously thought it was a shorter walk than it was. The place was clean, modern and all the staff were pleasant and happy to help out. I think the staff member that inducted us with the axe throwing was fairly new if I heard correctly but they did an absolutely fantastic job. I don't recall their first name to forward in this review so they can be praised. All in all, a very good experience and I would love to return someday.

Superb fun! Try at get there 10-15 mins before your time slot as the booking in process can take a little while. Staff are there to make sure you have a great time (and you will). Waaaaayyyy better than bowling!

First time I've been axe throwing, which I enjoyed.. Axed, its OK.. Does seem expensive, £22 a person. But I can't compare to anywhere else as its the only place I've been. Seems to lack atmosphere, it's in a big unit and is very open..the axe throwing area is very small.... Its also quite far out of the way on an industrial estate... Staff are friendly and helpful, to be honest, they needed more staff... Overall, its OK... Just needs to add a bit more to the whole experience in my opinion... Once we had finished our session, just wanted to leave. There was a bar but didn't feel like staying for a beer..like I've already said, had no atmosphere...

No better place to channel your inner lumberjack! A good variety of different games to play via the projector based targets on the wood wall, helpful knowledgeable staff on hand to offer help on technique, haft repairs, tasty snacks and all the beverages! Including the world's best hot chocolate. Chuck in a PS5 in the waiting area and what more could you ask for. A great night out!

Great venue would definitely recommend to everyone to try it!

Hands down THE best place I've ever been! Went with my brother in law as a tester for my stag do later in the year, and I wasn't disappointed at all! From entering the property was greeted instantly by welcoming, cheerful and just all round awesome folk ready to offer us drinks, a place to chill (if early) or to simply nerd out on a PS2 with Time Crisis. When our lane was ready we had a very thorough instructor briefing us on the dos and don'ts of axe throwing, showed us how to set our games up using the tablet to controller the projector for our axe throwing games on the board. It's a definite go to for any occasion! Stag do? Yep, hen do? Yep, night out? Yep, just wanna blow off steam? Defiantly!

I’ve never done any axe throwing before and thought it would be a fun activity for my husbands last few days in the UK. We had a great time. The instructors were really clear and helpful and spent loads of time helping us better our throws. They even moved our throwing range after a while to give us a fresh target to aim for. Went to Axed Lincoln with a small group of friends from work & it was better than I expected. Our tutor Jack was a lovely guy who clearly explained everything to our group, before showing us how to hold/throw the Axe etc. I was a bit nervous at first, but after a while I felt more comfortable with Jack keeping an eye on us till we got better 😂 We had a fab time, really enjoyed the Axe experience & the cool unit it's in 👌Will be going back again.
