I love this walk. The Merseyside estuary coast is a alluring combination of history,industrial docklands, sand dunes And modern art. On a day with bright blue autumnal sky's it's a wonderful place to walk.

I spent the day on a Social Impact Day cleaning the beach with work colleagues. We had bags, gloves and litter pickers and managed to collect over 40 bags of rubbish including a car tyre. 🚗

Great place ... weather was brilliant..... sea views with the cast iron men ..good beach prom walks... many visitors and lots of people with dogs on leads ...plus coffee bar in swimming baths .. Ice cream van adds to the flavour...

Amazing swimming lessons for kids, they look forward to their lessons every week and instructors always friendly. Clean and well equipped leisure centre

Pic is of the docks from the beach on a very blustry wet day as it was getting dark. The person you can see standing is a statue and when you get up close to them they are amazing to see. On a nice day this would be a nice place to visit for a beach day

went for American Wrestling Event. kids loved it. great atmosphere friendly meet an greet would go again. staff in the centre itself let the place down closing the toilets whike event was still active making it difficult with disabled kid present

Swimming lessons not great. Very slow to progress child sometimes seems like going backwards and the price increases all the time. There are a couple of good instructors and we have moved days several times in order to get one of them only for one of the younger more inexperienced instructors to take over. Very slow to assess. Mostly just the same swimming up and down each lesson not much teaching going on unfortunately.

Brilliant local pool with an amazing new lifeguard Imogen. Been attending this pool and the previous pool since I was a child. I would highly recommend as a great pool in the area. Professionally staff who are dedicated to the cause.

I do archery every Sunday in the courts there is also a pool small cafe there is a lot to do and you are right next to the beach a Crosby good for dog walkers .

Take a trip to see this fantastic sight of sites. Anthony gromley has produced and amazing price of art and it is worth the time and effort to go check out this place. Only down side is that they don't really have anywhere near the site to have a little meal of quality. Therefore I have subtracted a star for that and that alone. #greatart

Fantastic place. Great facilities and great staff (very friendly and helpful). Just to add, a new part of the gym has opened up downstairs. Facilities are now twice as good. Also punch bag and battle ropes added to upstairs. I've got to add just how good the staff are, they are just so helpful if you are struggling for any reason, always on hand to give advice. The facilities at the gym have been upgraded to state of the art equipment.

Absolutely love this beach,since moving to Liverpool this had been my place of choice ! 😁

Came here to the cafe after a long walk on the beach only to be told that I couldn't have a bowl of water for my dog because of covid. We bought three drinks and a packet of crisps which she happily handed over but said she couldn't give us a bowl of water for the dog because of covid. I thought that was very strange.

Great place has something for everyone. Classes are good the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and the leisure centre staff are all super friendly and helpful especially Camp Kyle who helped me get dry and dressed when I hurt my shoulder 🙂

Brilliant pool and great gym. This s pretty modern building with the pool having a clear view to the 2 full sides facing the beach. There is also a great little cafe where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while watching people swimming. The cafe is a great place for grandparents to watch as their grandchildren play in the children’s pool with their parents. You can also get a decent snack which is not too expensive. The gym has a view of the pool From above. The staff are always friendly and always on hand for advice or assistance. The gym is pretty good too with many great machines. There are plenty of free weights if you take thing seriously. The gym has a great view of the pool. All I all this a great gym in a fabulous location just metres from the beach.

The children's pool was lovely and warm with easy access for all abilities. The lifeguards were very friendly and helpful. My disappointment was in the cafe area, very minimal menu although they did have some fresh fruit.

Just moved here from London where I was a Virgin Active member. This is a great health center, the staff are friendly and helpful, there are a great range of activities on offer and its well priced. The pool is a good size and the stream room, sauna and Jacuzzi are great, glad I am now a member.

It was high tide so could only see some tops of 'Another Place', geeat views, lovely seeing all the dogs on the beach, just a shame about the litter but there's the 2 minute beach clean at the leisure centre which is an amazing incentive with free litter pickers and bags for the rubbish!

I usually play squash here so I can't comment on the rest of the leisure centre. The changing facilities are good and clean. The squash courts are bright (and warm in the summer) and the staff arm friendly enough. Being able to book squash courts online is a massive plus. And it's right by the beach. What more could you want from a leisure centre?

The centre itself has very good facilities and a good mixture of activities. It can be difficult to arrange regular swimming lessons for kids which I presume is to the busy and popular nature of the centre. Advanced booking advised 3-6 months
