Most beautiful tennis grounds in the world... By far!!
Here's a couple of things I didn't know:
You can buy tennis balls that were actually used in the tournament (training and/or official matches) and not really expensive, so get them quick because they sell out for the day (it's not like they can get more);
Attendance in the outer courts is free/open so pick some nice pairings and continue watching great tennis after you're done with the main venue!

Very well organised tournament, don't have to wait too long to enter. Great day out especially on a hot summers day. The views and scenery of the club is beautiful. There are places to eat and drink but you also have the option to bring your own.
N. A.
Very pretty place with beautiful and fresh flowers.
The food options were mostly the same price and of a decent portion size.
Despite setbacks from the rain, the experience was worth it!!
Loved the new system of purchasing tickets too, fair for those who have busy work schedules.
Would definitely try and go again another year.

Very lucky to go this year. We have been a few times, this year of course was very different.
Due to less crowds you were able to see a bit more of Wimbledon. As always a pleasure to go, lots of great tennis and it just gets better each time.
We wanted to share our memories this year, the tennis was at such a high quality, were on number 1 court, people were nice and overall a lovely time.
Well worth going, not sure currently there plans for next year for tickets, bit will be updating this section once we know 🤗🎾
We give it A*****

Fantastic day. Loved that we could get tickets online this year.. please keep a percentage of tickets for future years sold this way. This would be really helpful for those of us travelling from afar.
Lovely engaging staff including Skip McCallum, one of the stewards, and all the serving service personnel. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Museum a must.
Can't wait to go back in the future

After showing proof of vaccination/negative lateral flow test and photo ID we got our wristband to enter the grounds. Our tickets were scanned on the app and after watching a couple of matches on the outside courts, we made our way to Centre Court. Again, we had to show our digital ticket and we found our seats. There were lots of empty seats and we felt quite safe. We were glad of the roof when, after 12 minutes play, the rain started. The atmosphere was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. We'd love to do it again.

Wimbledon Tennis Tournament is the most glamorous and vibrant of them all. The complex is a perfect place to enjoy a day along with family and friends. You don't need to splash your money out by purchasing tickets to the main courts. You are able to watch matches without spending a single penny. Love it!!
R. C.
The stadium and the site were very kept. It was lush green and flowers in different shade of purple were adding to the charm. Strawberries and cream are a must try. The strawberries that were serving were plucked the same day. Food is bit expensive but that is given in all the stadiums. You will find options even if you are vegetarian/vegan. Do take a tour in between matches. It is beautiful ❤️

This was my fourth visit to Wimbledon. It's a fantastic day, tickets are not cheap, but it might be once in a lifetime visit. Worth going for the atmosphere and you might spot a few famous faces in the royal box.
J. J.
Finally seen a tennis match in the flesh and experienced the excellence of Wimbledon. Merchandise is pricey, but worth the visit and yes I plan on lining up next year if I don't get any ballot tickets. Wimbledon is worth the experience and add in some sunshine and strawberries and cream, and you are set for buzz the whole day that leaves you wanting to come back. The staff are helpful and the food is not bad. Court 18 has some really good matches. Even saw Emma R, on her Wimbledon debut - she was awesome. Will be looking to go on the other show courts despite they are more £'s

A wonderful day at Wimbledon watching the tennis. If you are looking to stay done stay in Wimbledon, better to stay in Southfields as nearer and easier to get to the tennis. A wonderful couple of days and cheaper to spend the night rather than pay the price of a day return train ticket. A day to remember and one we will definately do again next if not every year from now.
C. L.
Beautiful venue and I look forward to coming here every year. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is like no other. The tennis is pretty good too 😃 Glad to see the tournament back in action after a hiatus due to Covid.
S. R.
Attention this tour was carried out in the pre Covid period.

The guided tour is interesting and allows you to visit all the main and iconic places of Wimbledon. You can admire the mythical central court, the conference room, the media center and the hospitality area, the offices and more. The guide was very knowledgeable and accurate in descriptions and explanations. Furthermore, she was always available to answer all questions from visitors with great competence. The museum ticket was also included in the tour. The museum is very interesting and contains both ancient and modern tournament memorabilia. The visit was very pleasant and I highly recommend it to everyone especially tennis fans.

The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, also known as the All England Club, based at Church Road, Wimbledon, London, England, is a private members' club. It is best known as the venue for the Wimbledon Championships, the only Grand Slam tennis event still held on grass. Initially an amateur event that occupied club members and their friends for a few days each summer, the championships have become far more prominent than the club itself. However, it still operates as a members' tennis club.
D. L.
Great experience. Staff are amazingly friendly and the tournament is very well organised. The place is stunning with food and drink aplenty. Centre court is a fine place to watch the greatest players in the world 🎾
T. B.
Going to Wimbledon is like an annual pilgrimage for me, so was gutted when it had to be cancelled last year - understandable but still.
Didn't think I'd be able to get a ticket this year, so was super excited when I did!! It's a great day out and for me it never gets old watching some brilliant tennis. It's a #WimbledonThing
D. T.
An absolutely fantastic sporting venue. A wonderful atmosphere throughout the entire complex. Very clean and pleasant surroundings. Well worth a visit
D. G.
Great place to watch and play tennis. The club is steeped in history. Parking is very limited. There are plenty of food and drink outlets. Pre booking are essential.
M. L.
What à wonderful experience! First time ever and managed to get tickets for Centre Court. As if that weren't enough, we got to see Djokovic AND Federer! Wow wow wow
v.
Historic place to visit. Must go for 🎾 fans.
N. O.
I can’t even begin to praise the organisers enough for the great experience at this iconic event. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and everyone attending seemed really friendly and grateful. The ambience may have just been down to the circumstances, being able to attend a great event after such a long lockdown, however I feel it was because of the great organisation and aura of the event and the amazing staff that created the great spirit felt all day. It’s the first time I’ve ever been, and certainly not the last after this lovely experience! Full marks to all involved! ❤️🙏🙌
L. G.
Wimbledon all England tennis club is magical. Everything it should be even the strawberries taste amazing. Walking to the courts is beautiful with gorgeous flowers and rose garden. Its got ro be on your list to do..
A. L.
Lovely day at Wimbledon, despite the rain on day 2. Covid restrictions were good and it was well organised and planned. Tennis was brilliant and good to be back after 2 years.
J. F. Y.
Loved being back at my favourite Wimbledon. Last year was the only year I had missed going but it certainly felt like things lik Wimbledon is back to normal.
M. M.
First time at the Wimbledon championships and with the better way of getting tickets online. Thank you my day was fantastic with some wonderful Tennis.
l. b.
Managed to get tickets to women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles finals day on Centre Court. The whole day and experience was so well organised and thoroughly enjoyable.
Definitely worth it as an experience at least once in your lifetime.
S. S.
Great day great experience all despite weather! HSBC customers get some cool perks as do amex so make sure you look out for them. Saw some great matches on outside courts and was a great gesture of them to let us into the main courts near the end of play as they were half empty!
A. H.
Attended Tennis Championships at Wimbledon. Excellent event, brilliant atmosphere very efficiently run event. Enjoyed it immensely. Plenty of entertaining matches and full refreshment facilities available.
F. A.
Really big court and has the roof top as well if it starts raining. I was sitting in the front row so not a lot of leg room there. The seats can also be a bit roomy tbh but had a lot of fun watching tennis.
S. H.
The most amazing sport venue I've ever been to and doesn't dull after many visits!!
K.
A lovely afternoon, definitely well worth a visit we really found it interesting. Everyone is so friendly & helpful.
G. S.
Great place with very friendly staff, everyone was lovely. Great tennis and fantastic atmosphere.
R. J.
Hope they continue with the online ticket sales, it seems like a great way to give more people a chance to get hold of some without sleeping on the street outside. I had an option to get to the men's semi-final but thought that wouldn't have gone down too well as it was just the one ticket.....so plumped for a pair for court 12 instead. For £30 x2 we got to see Karolina Pliskova and Matteo Berrettini win on their way to the finals, what a bargain (a ground pass was only 3 quid cheaper)! The whole experience was great, the entry process was really well organised as you might expect, we had more or less a full day of play, lots of decent places to grab something to eat and/or drink, plus I got another towel from the Wimbledon shop! For those who've never looked into going, it's not as expensive as you may have thought, have a look for next year!
D. S.
Best tennis sporting event in England is held here in the summer. Some say the best tennis event in the world.
P. s.
A very good atmosphere. Probably the most prestigious tennis tournament out there. Nothing quite beats watching Federer play on grass.
A good selection of restaurants and amenities around the grounds.
The centre court needs to be on everyone’s list
K. G.
Great British day out - great security and best atmosphere going! Queued up for ground tickets in 2019 for £20 arrived around 6am and loved the atmosphere and excitement...think I preferred it that prepaiding for a ticket. 🤣
This year paid £150 for centre court tickets through online queue and saw Novak, Federer, Kerber and Gouff.
An amazing experience I'll never forget, although definitely is expensive! - love that you can bring your own food and two cans/bottle of fizz! Drinks and everything in there is expensive!
J. T. D.
It is the place to be for tennis fans of the world!!! We love our tour guide named Jeff and it was amazing to understand how they grow grass in a very special way!!! Would love to be back here when games are played! But for that to happen, you need to secure tickets way before the scheduled games. The museum is a must see also!
t. m.
Amazing day out on centre court, staff inside and outside the venue super friendly & helpful as always
S. P.
Quaint place as expected. I had a dream to meet RF here. Brilliant tennis courts, not sure about regular public facilities.
Z. I.
Had an amazing time at Wimbledon this year! The most favourite place to enjoy the tennis!
A. C.
It was amazing to visit Wimbledon Centre Court and the other courts as well.
We opted for the guided tour. The tour was good but there was an unexpected sense of urgency from the security not allowing the tourists to wait for even a few extra seconds to capture pictures which felt a bit unnerving. The rating is 4/5 just because of this reason. Otherwise perfect.
A. F.
I'm an innocent bi-stander on hold. This is a long time ago!!!! Do stop meaning me. The BBC do not OWN me. Yet staff 😑 are STILL being allowed 'trawling' the air. I can and I will stop ✋ them Newsing 😤especially in Anglia where I have never ever said I can b there. I cannot. Its no use pointing at that. I don't go on.
In the MEANTIME Djokovic should get his game in Australia. He like millions of others, especially sportsmen, including myself, 🙄 a once athlete, cannot bare 😑 the ignorance surrounding political bias. If the Australians let him in, then he shouldn't be banged up like a criminal. The Australian Tennis Association should take the 'blame', and the courts should now decide if he can play. Blabbermouths, shut it. 😒 You don't have the last say, that's up to his family.
H. P.
Simply the best, no problems getting in, and some great tennis matches. All the staff are so helpful
T. K.
Must visit once in your lifetime, whether your a Tennis fan or not, be sure to book tickets online before you visit to avoid long queues.
J. d. V.
Visiting Wimbledon is one of those bucket list things that you really should not wait too long to check off.
The tennis is usually fantastic, the atmosphere is even better. The fact that most people do their best to dress up and look good makes it all the more festive.
The food and drinks were good, the shop a great experience. Really a must visit!
W. M.
Best day in the life of every tennis fun. We do hope all is back to normal next year and we can experience this unreal setup. Always in the hearts and memories. See you next summer.
K. H.
Spectacular place. My favourite sporting ground anywhere in the world.
D.
Great place
If you want to buy genuine Wimbledon used tennis balls there is a little kiosk that sells them at 11 and 3pm only. £1 each
You can bring one bottle of booze or two cans and I'd recommend doing it. Sitting on the hill outside center court is lovely
If it's hot bring a hat and sunblock as there isn't much shade
Be aware the senior players play in the evening if you want to stay to around 8
The food is fine, priced about what you'd expect £9 for burger and chips, £2 for a coffee
S. C.
Amazing venue that will be on many people's bucket list! We had centre court tickets but even ground passes are worth it for the experience
m.
We used to ritually attend Wimbledon tennis every year in the mid-1980s because a work colleague was on the tennis umpires list and would let us have his 'comp' tickets on odd 'non-finals' days.
We actually had No.1 Court tickets for the Saturday Finals day one year with no particularly great matches scheduled, so we went for a mooch round the outside of the Centre Court. One of the on-duty stewards must have liked the ’cut of our jib’ and invited us into the free-standing area of Centre Court to watch the ladies doubles final with Martina Navratilova/Pam Shriver victorious, as was usual back then.
It was always a great thrill to spend time at Wimbledon each year and we saw a fair few of the super players of that era. Amazingly we never had a bad day weather-wise, and have nothing but the fondest of memories of the place.
D. O.
Very impressive. The money generated by this tournament must be phenomenal

Wimbledon 2021 - An unforgettable experience. I will remember and cherish this day 🤩
M. S.
This was my first visit to Wimbledon and I loved it. What an amazing festival of tennis. Stars from yesterday, today and tomorrow all playing at the same time in a superb setting. We enjoyed the walk from the tube station, about 20 minutes, and after a very short queue we were in the grounds. We had seats on court two which was amazing. We enjoyed coffee, Pimm's, sausage rolls and strawberries (typical British fare?) Tickets allow a full day access to everything. If you can get in, go for it. It's an amazing celebration of a great game.
O. R.
Uniquely British. Completely civilised but yet an electric atmosphere. Fresh strawberries with bad-boy cream sprinkled with sugar. Pints of Pimm's with plenty of ice, a slice of cucumber and orange, half a strawb and a leaf of mint. Quiet please.
P. E.
This is an epic day out. A chance to watch the best in tennis and a wonderful atmosphere. I decided to camp out in the queue and was really impressed by how well organised it is. The honourary stewards do an excellent job in all their varied roles. The whole experience is great from all the available facilities to the great tennis experience.
I will definitely be back.:)🎾🎾🎾👍
N. W.
Iconic. Unfortunately we didn't have tickets, and no ground passes on sale on the day. Good just to be around it!
G. S.
Great atmosphere, great day out. Everywhere is absolutely spotlessly clean. Very helpful and polite staff.
A. S.
The Wimbledon guided tour is absolutely worth it! If you are a tennis or sports enthusiast, paying for the tour is worth it! Access to players and media only areas makes it even more exciting! They even take you to centre court which is very joyful to do! Our guide was super funny and charming! Loved her.
이. L.
Definitely the best experience ever!
I have watched all the major sports at the stadium such as EPL, NBA, MLB, UFC etc, but Wimbledon is something else 🇬🇧
G. W.
A wonderful sporting venue, obviously iconic. Some tickets are released daily for centre court and can be bought on line.
The venue is beautifuly decorated with flowers, and well sign posted throughout.
An interesting observation though, quite a large section of seating in centre court cannot see the full scoreboard! In this digital age its amazing there is only one scoreboard!
J. M.
I’ve watched Wimbledon every year for the past 17 years and being able to attend it was absolutely incredible. Got in the Queue at 6:00 AM, and I was still able to get a Centre Court ticket. I would definitely recommend at least attending to anyone, regardless of if you like sports.
V. G.
What a wonderful day. Great facilities, lots to eat and drink. Sensible shoes required.
D. C.
If you are lucky enough to have tickets to Wimbledon, then be prepared for a wonderful whole day of entertainment! The atmosphere is full of excitement, the gardens are well manicured, and the courts looked immaculate. Bring a hat, sunscreen, an umbrella, some snacks and enjoy the experience!
T. P.
I have the great memories at here. The view at Centre Court, Court and Henman Hill very impressive. During the Gentlemen's Final 2019 is one of the greatest moment in Tennis once I 'm tennis fan.
A. M.
Fantastic day out here during the Wimbledon tournament. I was here the day of the men's semi final and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff at the centre are extremely friendly and helpful and are keen for you to have an enjoyable time. You are pretty free to wander in and out of courts that are hosting matches if you purchase a £15 ground entry ticket. I particularly enjoyed watching the matches on the big screen at Henman Hill. A great place to watch the tennis and absorb the atmosphere. Hope to be back again one day soon.
E. W.
Lovely experience, you can take all your own food, drink to the equivalent of a bottle of wine/champagne per person or 2 x 500ml beers. Strawberries and cream, a must😀only £2.50 per serving and generous servings, free water top ups all around, so it really doesn't have to be an expensive day. Easy access to all courts, staff enthusiastic and friendly, entry to the museum is £13 but worth a visit for the history. Extremely clean , just loving the whole experience.
H. L.
Always love going during The Championships to see great tennis and enjoy the summer vibe at the AELTC. To make the day enjoyable wear sunscreen, a hat, drink water, and bring a picnic as food is expensive plus waiting in line to eat will reduce your tennis time. Take breaks to enjoy the grounds and museum is very interesting. Stay for the evening because you may score a resale ticket for centre or court 1 or just be let in when it's opened for the later evening games. Be on Henman Hill to hear about those courts being opened.
D. P.
90 minute tour. Was excellent, knowledgeable, museum great... But not 90 minutes is too long. I enjoyed but standing should be cut to 60 plus the museum is sufficient
J. P. (.
Well this place certainty lived up to its reputation. The Venue is very big and accommodate for a wide variety of tastes which is great as there are a wide variety of people that attend events. the dress code is generally casual . However some of the places within the grounds are very formal which adds to the uniqueness of this venue.
B. M.
Very well maintained.
Good Infrastructure. Very well planned and designed. I am stunned with the security system.
Clean and tidy. I would like to visit the place again in my life time again if I get a chance to visit.
A. M.
My friend and I visited Wimbledon on first day. It was our first visit and loved every minute of it. We had a meal in Wingfield Restaurant. Service was fanatstic. Wine flowed freely. Food was fabulous. We had tickets for Centre Court. We had a look around centre court before play. It's just amazing. Weather was great. Sun all day. Not expensive for food or drink on concourses. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you Wimbledon!
G. B.
Great atmosphere during the Championship.. I have usually queued for ground pass tickets and after watching some tennis on unreserved outside courts queued again near court 18 for resale tickets to show courts. As long as you are flexible you can watch great matches. This is probably the best value sporting event in the UK. See photos from my 2017 experience
T.
Wimbledon tennis is always great. The grounds are beautiful and all the people working there that we spoke with were very helpful and friendly. Put this on your bucket list.
I. B.
Always dreamt to be here!!! Amazing tour, got to see players entrance, media centre, media terrace, walk around the courts... amazing experience!!!!! Perfect moment entering Centre Court!!!!! Where so many finals have taken place!!!!!! Wanna go again!!!! And again!!!!!!!!!!!!
B. P.
It's the best of British, a MUST see if you get the chance...
P. G.
We had a guided tour and I had never appreciated how much there was going on behind the scenes. Lots of new developments coming on stream especially the new roof for Court No1 (launches May 2019 I think). Lots of history you can easily fill a whole day. Looking forward to broadcast this summer.
T. S.
What a superb place. Class and style. So England. Amazingly run. Well
organised and efficient. Really impressed. Love the fact they constantly strive to improve. Great attention to detail. Beautifully laid out. Everything regularly cleaned, tidied, attended to and replenished yet never “obviously”. Fast efficient service despite the many thousands of visitors. Love it here. Beautiful flowers.
K. I.
Best experience I've ever had at a sporting event! I got grounds passes and resale tickets twice which allowed me to see some of the games biggest names. Best deal in London if you're willing to get up early and queue!
l. s.
Going to Wimbledon lives up to the hype. It really is the best tennis venue in the world. From the pomp and circumstance to the elite play in a historic venue. The lines are intense but worth it.
B. S.
Amazing experience at Wimbledon. Nice to see the crowd back. Arunesh festival to be a part of.
B. F.
Fantastic atmosphere again. The stewards at the Queue do a great job. Brilliant perks with American Express. Still in my opinion the world's greatest Grand Slam🎾
R. H.
Visited Wimbledon 2019 and was a spectator on Court 1. I saw the legendary Roger Federer play, as well as Serena Williams and Andy Murray! Fantastic atmosphere and a privilege to be at the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.
N. M.
Fantastic experience. Joined The Queue at 03:30 on Day 7 which was early enough to get Court No. 2 tickets for £70. Great value considering we were there for the entire day and had to freedom to move between courts 2 and under. Seen some amazing games. Great food options and brought our own picnic to break up the day
F. A.
Wimbledon! Yes it's expensive and yes it's a little pretencious but it's Wimbledon! I love coming here for the annual championships to soak up the atmosphere whilst soaking up a little prosecco as well. The queues are crazy but again that's all part of the adventure. You have to do it at least once. Me? I do this craziness every year if I can and I love it. There is also a museum at the club along with several gift shops if you get bored with the tennis. See you next year Wimbers 👍😎
R. M.
Was " lucky " to get the opportunity to see the 2017 mens final on centre court but didn't get a great view of the court. On my recent visit it was so different, the pandemic situation was handled so well, had a great day and really soaked up the atmosphere
M. K.
It's very beautifully designed and decorated inside. It's a must recommendation place to visit, even when Wimbledon is not on. Food café is available inside and also there is the museum.
P. A.
A thoroughly enjoyable day out if you're a massive tennis fan (which I am 🙂)!
Really informative & fun tour with our flamboyant & extremely knowledgeable guide Victoria. The press areas, the BBC studio, and of course, a visit to Centre Court were just a few of the many highlights. The museum is huge so I only got round half of it before having to leave, but I did get to see the winners' trophies 🎾🎾🎾🏆🏆
T. A.
It's amazing and stunning and like nothing else
J. N.
The Mecca of tennis. Fulfilled a bucket list by attending this year's (2018) tournament. Based on friends and relatives' experiences, we decided to wait in the queue to get grounds passes. We got there at 9am and was able to enter at about 1pm (a bit long, but bring a deck of cards or something to kill time, and it passes quickly). The layout of the grounds is several stadium courts, four of which requires significant additional funds to enter. The few that don't are usually packed. Then there are the middle courts which during the first days are used mainly for doubles. We were able to watch a match at a "free" stadium court (D. Kasatkina, also saw her play at Indian Wells this year), and several doubles matches on the middle courts, which allows you to be right next to the courts. We also watched Nadal play on the jumbotron on Henman Hill. Per tradition we had strawberries and cream, and spent a ton at the gift shop. Overall a very memorable experience which I'll remember forever.

All England Lawn Tennis Club @ Wimbledon
The Most Prestigious Sporting Event I have visited.
We had a amazing summer in 2018 with lots of sun and not a drop of Rain. Lots of Evian and Pimms.
Mountains of Strawberries and Fresh Cream.
Lazazza Fresh Coffees emblazoned with a Tennis chocolate topping.
The highest Quality tennis
A great atmosphere
I. @.
Beautiful venue to watch some world class tennis
J. M.
Outstanding evening attendance at Court One. Serena Williams singles match followed by Andy Murray mens doubles match! The new roof was closed part way through the evening; it's a really excellent addition a d the lifting is perfect. Love number one court!
S. M.
Great event, top venue. Prepare to spend a lot of time queueing. Terribly British. A highlight of the summer.
S. L.
We came here for Wimbledon tennis. The tickets are hard to get. This year, the queuing is online. Luckily we got two tickets for court 2 on Day 2.
We arrived at the club around 10am. The event was very well organised. Volunteers and guides were all around the club to instruct audience to queue up, checking everyone’s lateral flow test and checking tickets. The app for the Wimbledon game is fab. You can check map, game updates and court assignment easily.
There were multiple spots for food. Some dine-in restaurants and plenty outside tables as well. Price was really fair.
Unfortunately, rain started around 1pm. So the club had to pause the game. As soon as the rain stopped at around 5pm, the game resumed. Games other than central court ended at around 8pm, as those courts don’t have lights.
Definitely will come back again!
H. T.
Attended Wimbledon for the first time on Finals Sunday and took time out to visit the Museum. Excellent experience and now looking to book for next year 🎾💜
G. M.
Been on final. Big day in abig place amazing experience, will recommend to everyone who can go there. I know tickets aren't cheap but money well spent.
A. d. G.
Absolutely amazing tour! You really get a sense of the history of the tournament and the club. It's also great to see some of the backstage areas that the players use during the tournament. The meusuem is also filled with fun facts and memrobillia.
K. K. N.
Always nice to spend a day at the AELTC... even if it is just with grounds passes, to take it in the energy and the summer tennis vibe at SW19. Also great to kick back on the Aorangi terrace/formerly Henman Hill/now Murray Mound with some strawberries & cream and cold Pimms...all in all a great day out!
A. B.
Best place for sports like Tennis and cricket. A designated area for Barbeque and Kids games. Best place for a day out in summer.
10 tennis courts that needs to be booked. They're also available on the spot during off peak hours.
D. B.
I was dreaming about Wimbledon and I was right it’s an amazing tournament.
C. P.
Fantastic place. Strawberries and cream delicious and cheaper than chips! Staff very very helpful. Excellent sporting event that is Wimbledon. Plenty of eating and drinking places but box clever when timing visits. Will definitely be back.
b. a.
Absolutely fantastic experience! Very well organised tour which was highly informative and interactive. To see and be part of something historic is amazing. The cafe inside is quite good and I loved their chicken and mushroom pie :) definitely worth a visit any time
M. W.
Great place to visit well organized and a good selection of on site food and drink.
A. R.
It's Wimbledon!! Drink is expensive but the food is reasonably priced. The queues move quick. It's just amazing. Go.
E. D.
I loved the experience. Such an intriguing history when it comes to the world of tennis
The entire tour was great and our guide, what an awesome person he was. Definitely has all the history at his fingertips. The paraphernalia shop was also great.....selling branded history in different forms....you will definitely get a gift of your choice if you are a tennis lover.....was quite difficult for me to choose a gift because everything there was attractive.....ended up getting a fridge magnet, a mug and keyrings......Do not forget to do a museum tour as well.
E. R.
Fantastic location, where my father and I attended our first Wimbledon. Extremely clean and well laid out. Smaller than we thought, making it more accessible and enjoyable to wander around whilst you're there. Lots of nice food and drinks to enjoy, plus shops for little memories to take away.
A. V.
Good place to visit for tennis lovers. The VR section in the museum was quite good. The tour guide was very nice and with a great sense of humour!
Cafe Wingfield is also good.
M. j. D.
Hate croquet, sorry but done understand cricket either. Seem like a good game to engage the kids when there's no footie. What you think?
C. Z.
Great vibes
R. K.
No need to say everything,,, I've always dreamed of going there!
The ticket for number courts and center court is bit expensive but I think ground ticket is good for me. Because in the 1st week many players practice in the open court and you can enjoy young stars match.
D. R.
Allocated two great Centre Court tickets in the Ballot, seating us just behind the Royal Box. Great view and it was in the shade until about 5 p.m.
K. C.
Beautiful place to visit if you are a tennis fan
L. L.
It's been 40+ years since I went here. I loved every minute of it as I am a massive tennis fan especially Wimbledon. Saw a few players including Novak Djokovic and Raphael Nadal. Wonderful day.
J. R.
What an experience. Wimbledon championships 2018. Even if you don't have tickets for a main court there is a lot of tennis to watch on the minor courts. Great staffing, lots of facilities, bars and restaurants. No-one does tennis like wimbkedon.
M. B.
Fantastic day. Weather was good we watched 3 matches and had a cream tea. Staff were very helpful very nice and clean. Would definitely go again
H. J.
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! food & drink prices are reasonable for such a massive global event, captive crowd & in a capital city. Strawberries & cream are as gorgeous as they are iconic. You need more than 1 day to see the whole grounds & facilities & fit in some tennis matches! Amazing atmosphere. Staff are all really polite & helpful & the honorary stewards wow! what a role they have in making these championships the most historic in the tennis calendar. Just wished I could have been there every day of the Wimbledon fortnight.
T. K.
What a day, what fantastic men's semifinals, we were so blessed to have watched some of the greatest ever players in the modern era, truly awesome, and only at Wimbledon, what a venue, thanks AELTA
J. B.
Getting to carpark 6 was easy. The queue to get in to the ground was short and efficiently dealt with. The atmosphere inside was relaxed as the crowds were smaller. We had the best day. Watched some amazing tennis. Thank you Wimbledon and all involved in getting this magnificent tournament up and running
A.
Absolutely brilliant! Great atmosphere, value for money! Was expecting strawberries & cream to be £10 and drinks the same, however both were a fraction. Only snag was the 10-15mins interval between games on centre Court. Its not enough time to go out and come back before the next match.
G. K.
Our first ever visit to Wimbledon. An unforgettable experience, can't wait to visit again. Bad luck, Roger.
Y. R.
Watching Wimbledon is a must,at least once in your lifetime given you get hance to do it. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the court 1 games during the semis. The atmosphere on the stadium was electrifying. One of my best experiences for sure
J. M.
You have to experience wimbledon once in your life - if not every summer. Got lucky with tickets thanks to the pandemic having an online queue instead of the real physical queue. Amazing cheerful staff everywhere. Great displays of hydrangeas and other flowers. Excellent day out.
L. R.
If you are a tennis lover or enthusiast, this place will delight you. Even if you are not, it is a special feeling to be at the courts of Wimbledon: the venue where sports history was made. Museum is also interesting and interactive (with VR experience).
J. B.
Such an amazing experience. I have been a lifelong fan of Wimbledon and this was my first visit at age 33. I hope to go every year now.
a. s.
Lovely day overall, would prefer better updates about when new matches were about to start, some actual breaks between games where you have a chance to buy some food and return to seat. It's a very expensive day to be left outside missing the game not being allowed back to your seat until the end of a set, need the toilet, well that missed me three games by time you get there and back and queue to get back into center court!
E.
Also known as the All England Club. It's a private members' club. Best known as the venue for the Wimbledon Championships, the only Grand Slam tennis event still held on grass. Initially an amateur event that occupied club members and their friends for a few days each summer, the championships have become far more prominent than the club itself. However, it still operates as a members' tennis club.
M. C.
The centre count is incredible! Worth checking this place out.
D. H.
What an experience .. and certainly something that deserved to be on my bucket list. Managed to get tickets to Day 2 on Court 1 .. thank goodness for the roof! The court was so close and views spectacular. We were able to wander around the entire grounds which were much smaller than we expected .. every inch has been utilised. The shop is below Court 1 .. expensive but quality. We took all our food with us as we were warned that prices can be steep. I will do it again if I ever have the opportunity!!
V. S.
What a fantastic experience! The courts, grounds and facilities are brilliant. Everything is so meticulously planned and organised. A great day out on Court 1 with the roof closed in the latter part of the evening.
We will try to visit again next year.
J. C.
We purchased our tickets online for just after the Wimbledon Championships season was over. Parking around the area is free over the weekend up to 4 hours.
Our price included a walking tour guide (timed) around most of the Wimbledon ground and on to the seating areas of Centre Court and Court 1. Very interesting facts and figures and the work the Tennis and Croquet Club do for charity.
After our tour, we went back into the gift shop to pick up our audio sets for the museum. The museum gave you the history and artefacts to see and listen (at your own pace), finally leading to the trophy room. In the museum, you can try your speed and reflex or try out the VR (Viral Reality) goggles.
Overall, a very good day out with very friendly staff on site.
J. B. R.
My visit was on the first day - Monday. There was a lengthy queue for entry, but everyone was good humoured and patient. Stewards were polite and helpful in solving any problems. Facilities inside are excellent. Older, first time visitors should be aware that there is a 25 minute walk from Southfields Station to the grounds
J. H.
I was so excited to be at Wimbledon, as this was my very 1st time. I was not disappointed at all, I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The members of staff I spoke to were so accommodating, helpful and supportive.
I hope to return again in the future.
K. M.
Unique experience and history always
K. S.
Simply phenomenal! The grounds are stunning if not a little crowded. Lovely staff everywhere who are more than happy to help.
M. S.
I don't think it needs any introduction. If you can get into centre court obviously. Combine it with a posh nosh on the restaurant and have a glass of something special on the top level. An excellent experience.
S. L.
Of you're here for Wimbledon try and splurge for tickets at the Gatsby club. Food and drink is amazing with a whisky bar out back all included in the cost.
J. D.
Like every other 'event' the food and drink onsite is massively overpriced. However, the venue and facilities are excellent - and the atmosphere, well great to have been part of a cheering crowd again, covid safety provisions not too obtrusive.
J. J.
Fantastic venue with superb atmosphere, clean amenities and the best of international tennis during the championship! Would recommend a visit to anyone.
L.
One of the best experiences in my life and in London... the grand slam by itself is amazing.... Vamos Rafa🎾
C.
World renowned for the yearly Wimbledon tennis tournament..if you happen to be in UK in July..you certainly you do not want to miss this event...just be reminded of the long lines / queue...
A. W.
Great day out. One of the best set ups for spectators or llf any sporting event. Bucket list item.
F. A.
First time here. Great to see many former and current no.1s
W. C.
Currently working here on a 80 million pound project so plenty going on.
S. G. S.
Watched Day-12 matched at Court No.1, it was awesome. Well organized, friendly staff. Items in the food court are very expensive. It was great experience watching live on the stadium.
R. K.
Brilliant to go to, just a pity everything is so pricey when your there. Take your own hamper to save money, but it's difficult to find seats outside
the courts available to sit down, although there is always the grass. Staff are always very helpful and polite.
P. W.
Amazing experience, we had centre court tickets, 5 rows back from the net on womens ¼ finals.
Wimbledon is exceptionally pristine everywhere and not over priced like some venue's
R. L.
Icon venue. Great sight lines. Even from the back of the show courts. Wonderful atmosphere and lots to soak up. Catering is plentiful but at the prices you'd expect at this kind of event. Every sports grab should attend at least once.
J. C.
Yep, The Championships at Wimbledon met all my very high expectations. The “Masters” experience of tennis. Queued by 0500 for days 1-3, in by 1100 and got to watch phenomenal tennis.
A. S.
Great day. Everything so well organized, especially the Queue, which is much more enjoyable than one would expect!
D. S.
Quintissentially British institution that simply has to be done if events or tennis means anything to you.
M. M.
A unique experience even if tennis is not your game a taste of past sporting excellence with present day athletes in attendance
Attend in the first week if you can purchase a ground pass which is not to expensive and weather permitting a full day's tennis can be had with some excellent matches to be had on the outside courts
L. W.
Definitely worth a visit during the Championships! Camped out overnight to watch Djokovic and Federer - totally worth it!
P. H.
Really worth going, the whole atmosphere is engaging, the security is excellent, the parking is very reasonable and overall a brilliant day. The tennis is the icing on the cake.
C. Q.
Fab day out.Amazing match. Didn't need a second mortgage !
K. F.
Fantastic to be part of the Govt's official pilot event as Wimbledon opened its doors after 2 years. Staff and visitors all co-operated to ensure things worked as smoothly as was possible. Shame the weather didn't play ball!!
T. S.
One of the best experiences in my life. We went there at 5:20 to get in the queue. It sounds like a lot of time to spend queueing (they start getting people in around 9) but the queue is extremely well organised. We got in at 11 but only managed to get Ground Access tickets. Towards the end of the day we queued at tge resale stand and got tickets for both Centre Court and Court no 1.
L. M.
Everything is so well planned and organised.
L. “. D.
Glorious day at Wimbledon (no rain!); reduced crowds meant it was so much easier to move around, get refreshments, shop and the tennis was pretty good too! Friendly professional staff made the whole day just perfect.
p. b.
Our first time at the All England Club - having seen the venue what seems like a thousand times on television the reality is that the grounds are not as vast as I first thought. This isn't a criticism as I found the familiar sights of Centre Court or courts 2, 12 and 3 easier to navigate. From these ticketed courts you may be lucky enough to watch one of the other matches at the same time.
What is criticism is the lack of decision making and lack of information about an oil leak that led to an hour delay in our entering the venue. Once inside, however, the tennis and atmosphere were unbelievable. The rain delay did not dampen our enthusiasm or enjoyment - if truth be known the delay led to us being moved to N° 1 Court where we saw even more fantastic tennis.
Lived up to the hype - big time.
c. m.
Beautiful grounds a must see ! Even if tennis isn't your forte !
L. K.
Visited on the second day of the tournament, weather was rainy so only saw 1 match. Good day out but we had to walk 1 mile to get to the end of the queue to get in, total chaos with people just joining the queue where they liked. I know COVID restrictions were in place but they should have organised it better. Food expensive so take your own picnic.
M. S.
What a fantastic experience. Everything so well organised. The bars and restaurants are first class, try the pimms. Its a bit pricey but hey this is Wimbledon. To walk around the place was just magical. The tennis was spectacular and we saw 3 great matches. Loads of people watchin can be done. Can't wait for next year.
E. T.
For the amount of people there over the two weeks, everything was like a well oiled machine. All staff were courteous and friendly. I had a brilliant time and I didn't even have to queue up for the ladies toilets which is a rarity in itself considering the amount of people there!
B. P. C. a. C. s.
A fantastic day at the men’s semi finals. The courts and the grounds are so well maintained. 👍👍👍
T. W.
Great entertainment only open certain days of the year though it was really fun but very busy and the food was a bit expensive one bag of haribo’s was £3 and it is £1 in most corner shops I think it is great fun but it is worth bringing your own food I also think that it is great that you can queue to get the second hand tickets for the top courts although if the math has just started and it’s popular you might be waiting for a while. One thing that I think is definitely not worth it is sitting on the hill and watching the tennis on the big screen there is a bit of excitement but for me I think it’s too busy and you could watch it at home I guess?
F. M.
Wimbledon tennis championships
P. B.
Just one of the best things to do in July. The standard of tennis is outstanding, even watching on the outer courts of lesser known players is good. The atmosphere is great, good wine et beer available. Food gets better each year.
K. C.
Very exciting to be here. We are enjoy watch the amazing matches in the court or on the hill, and congrats to the champions.
O. K.
Fantastic day, great staff and a superb atmosphere. What more does one need?
D. k.
Best experience in our life, worth every penny and time
R. K.
The "temple" of tennis. Founded in 1868 the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is home of the famous Wimbledon Tennis Championships every summer.
R. B.
Great day out! Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Good choice of food and drink, money well spent to experience and be part of the Tennis championships...there is something special about Wimbledon.
B. M.
Going to Wimbledon was one of the greatest experiences of my life. My buddies and I showed up for the queue in the rain without a tent. We brought towels and newspaper and were ready to hunker down fora miserable night. An angel that worked there found a disposed shell of a tent that was made for a 10 year old-and we fit 3 grown men in there. The actual Wimbledon action was amazing. We got 2 row seats for 65 pounds. The crowd knows tennis and behaved like classy tennis fans. The strawberries and cream were a British delight. Thank you Wimbledon for a great life story.
W. s.
Visited here for the championships and this was a covid test event. So an entry requirement was that you were either fully vaccinated or had tested negative in the last 48hrs. The entry process was well organised and the que moved fairly quickly. Once in we had an amazing time not having been before and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were for food and drink, strawberries and cream was £2.50 for example and served in a box in an effort to cut down plastic usage.
R. R.
As Wimbledon was a bucket list item we had an amazing day. Center Court Debenture Tickets on the first day are a must purchase. Food and beverages were not overly priced. Easy access from Central London to the event by Tube was perfect and only a 15 minute walk from the station. We will be back next year hopefully.
C. C.
Great place to be during wimbledon championships. Staff and security are very easy going and friendly. Everything very expensive but you have the option of bringing your own food and drink to a limit if on a budget.
S. A.
Highly informative tour with Lorraine to get the "behind the scenes" information on Wimbledon site. Museum interesting too. Easy to get to with buses outside gate 3 entrance.
I. E.
Amazing place for tennis lovers. Great atmosphere but too crowdy and tiring. Only few courts have seats and most of them are ticketed. Would I wait 6 hours in the sun for a ticket for the grounds -definitely NOT!
R. K.
Absolutely brilliant experience and day out, excellent facilities all round....best of British! The new No1 court is superb.
M. d. D.
If I could score it 6 out of 5 I would, went for the first use of the new roof on no1 Court everybody connected with the club were great
B. N.
Absolute amazing place. Our first time at Wimbledon and hopefully not our last. Very well organised and we found all of the staff we met very helpfully. We couldn't stop smiling all day.
S. W.
Had my first experience watching on centre court on Friday 13th of July, two great semi-final, watching history unfold priceless.
A.
Went for the Wimbledon open. The first grand slam I've been to apart from the Australian Open. Great atmosphere and luckily the weather wasn't too bad.
L. B.
A wonderful experience as ever. Seamless entry and excellent facilities. Great to be back and a privilege to be on Centre Court
S. F.
One of my favourite places to visit. The best atmosphere. Great to see the improvements in sustainability and recycling since my last visit a few years ago. Mobile charging points another great addition.
E. R. H.
Beautiful setting, wonderful facilities and even on Women's Singles Finals day, it didn't feel overcrowded.
A.
Good for a wheelchair user to get around. A few inclines to get to number one court and the outside courts. Not certain if the outside courts are accessible! Plenty of food and drink outlet's but expensive . Disabled parking on the golf course opposite the entrance to Wimbledon. No hard standing you park on the course. On the day £35. Strawberries not up to much..no taste!
Z. S.
Greatest place to visit, absolutely beautiful, loads to do and many chances to get on all the courts even if you only have a ground pass
S. M.
Fabulous day out, not just for watching tennis. It's a great venue, and so well organized. For a tennis fan it doesn't get any better.
T. F.
What an excellent experience. Well managed, food and drink prices not out of this world considering the location. All staff were very welcoming and amenable. AND the tennis experience was brilliant.
M. “. B.
I am a regular visitor to AELTC during the Championships. I find it one of the best experiences you can get while living/visiting London. The club is proud of allowing the purchase of a ticket the same day of the event, all you have to do is queuing from the early morning (or mid afternoon for the afternoon queue). Queuing is actually a massive picnic and it's a great experience, you'll meet plenty of fellow tennis fans of every age/nationality. Once in, you'll notice how beautiful the club is, with a fantastic care for every detail. The atmosphere during the Championship is usually fantastic despite you'll probably have to queue for everything: to enter a court, to get some food/drinks, to pay at the shop, to withdraw money. Pimms and strawberries & cream are a must. If you can't get a resale ticket to the show courts (Centre Court, court n. 1,2,3) you can anyway enjoy the games on the hill where a big screen is showing action, together with hundreds of other cheerful people. Prices for food and drinks are average for the London standard. The merchandising is quite expensive.
K. K.
The museum is fantastic, the way of tennis tournament history presentation is perfect as well as souvenier shop
B. E. G. R.
One of the best places in this world, the cathedral for tennis lovers.
A memory that I'll never forget
A. J.
Thoroughly enjoyable day watching mens quarter finals. Tube journey from St James Park station on time and not overly packed with passengers. Plenty of stewards to offer guidance on the walk from Southfields station (10-15 mins). Entry was slick & well managed. Eating & drinking facilities were good though overpriced. We took a bottle of wine each bought at reasonable price in Tesco. Journey back into London at 7pm had even less passengers. Had a great day out.
J. H.
First time there with the new padded seats & the roof both were good. The Orangi restaurant has been replaced with outside seating which is not very good. Queues were dealt with quickly & all the officials were pleasant. Shame about the restaurant
R. J.
Wimbledon experience for tennis buffs is a must. Queueing, walking around the courts, watching tennis. Absolutely fantastic
S. D.
What an amazing place. Tour really worth doing and access to the museum was fantastic. Got up close to the Men's trophy, loads of interesting exhibits and Centre Court is magical.
J. T.
Amazing experience, easy even with covid passports ect.
Food was reasonably priced, drinks were very pricey. But what do you really expect.
All staff were incredibly helpful and chatty.
C. A.
Brilliant . Brilliant brilliant. It's a good mixture of court sizes, good atmosphere, celebrity hangout and drink yonder. All the courts have an insane feel to them. But beware the strawberries and cream suck . Like for real
M. J.
It was my first visit on Saturday 10th July and I cannot fault it. The organisation of entrance to the grounds and everything inside was superb. All the people working there were very efficient and extremely friendly, which all added to an amazing day
a.
Exceeded expectations!
The beautiful venue, which was very efficient in every way, whether it be the queue to getting in or for food/drink. Understandably at peak times it took a little longer but that is to be expected.
M. S.
I don't think it needs any introduction. If you can get into centre court obviously. Combine it with a posh nosh on the restaurant and have a glass of something special on the top level. An excellent experience.
J. R.
What an experience. Wimbledon championships 2018. Even if you don't have tickets for a main court there is a lot of tennis to watch on the minor courts. Great staffing, lots of facilities, bars and restaurants. No-one does tennis like wimbkedon.
J. N.
The Mecca of tennis. Fulfilled a bucket list by attending this year's (2018) tournament. Based on friends and relatives' experiences, we decided to wait in the queue to get grounds passes. We got there at 9am and was able to enter at about …
D. R.
Allocated two great Centre Court tickets in the Ballot, seating us just behind the Royal Box. Great view and it was in the shade until about 5 p.m.
J. V.
A place for those who love their tennis with a quintessentially English flavour...

I spent all day watching Wimbledon championship. Great experience, very interesting museum, big shops and a lot of space to wander around. History was made there!
D. L.
Best place in the world to watch tennis! Everything you want or need at a top class tennis tournament is at Wimbledon. Pure class and unbeatable in my opinion!
M. A.
Wimbledon is such a great event. Loads of people and the place is buzzing. Go, even if you don't get tickets for one if the main courts.
M. S.
It was my first time visiting a tennis museum and ground, I had a nice time there
A. S.
That's was one of the place I dreaming when I was young. I was very surprised when they call me and said we working in Wimbledon tennis court Central court!!!
T. C.
What a fantastic place! Second time at centre court. Everyone is so friendly, polite and professional, the place runs, literally, with military precision that it sums up perfectly all that is best about Britain. Love it
T. A.
The tour was very nice and our tou guide was very good
S. H.
Amazing time at the Wimbledon 2019!
R. B.
What a great day out even in there strange times of COVID.
We felt safe, all staff were very friendly and wore masks at all time.
No queues for anything.
Og and the tennis was amazing too !!
F. S.
Great customer service. Very happy with the purchase.
P. K. D.
Amazing ! The centre court justifies it's big hype ! Was lucky enough to see Djokovic, Nadal, Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka in action. Also, the beauty was magnified when the lights were On and roof was closed! Simply stunning ! And such a lovely crowd to back Jamie Murray and Kyle Edmund ( though Edmund lost) .
A. B.
Beautiful - most amazing sporting venue I've ever seen

Amazing experience. Highly recommend the hospitality package through Keith Prowse as your ticket for the tennis is guaranteed! Great food from Michael Roux Jnr and free champagne and cocktails!

Covid checks all in place. Once you get the app the ticket process is easy.
Straightforward to get in and great to be back watching tennis at such a fantastic venue again.
Staff always pleasant and helpful.
J.
Always a great day out even with rain. The atmosphere is electric, particularly when a Brit is playing. Thoroughly recommend for those who enjoy tennis.
D. V.
Fantastic place. Brilliant atmosphere. Extremely well organised. Pleasure to visit! Queueing can get a bit tiring though!
H. D.
Lovely experience at Wimbledon! All staff very helpful and polite. There is a direct bus from Wimbledon station to the courts which I utilised. They are quite frequent and affordable.
C. L.
Wimbledon , the place champions are seen😍 There is no better place in the world to watch lots and lots of excellent tennis, We went to Court 2 watched Ashleigh Barty play near perfect tennis, then Dan Evans play every shot with intent to win the game then the match, Kerber frustration was clear as she losted her match but the tennis was super and thrilling with Lauren Davis playing amazingly. Then on to Court 14 Mens doubles Dan Evans and Lloyd Glasspool trying to win a close match then Court 18 Jamie Murray and Neil Skupski they looked in winning form but alas didn't win? Last but least we watched the big screen Andy Murray so great to see him on the court. What a day; truly loved it 😆😍😎
S. P.
Plenty of really helpful staff. Facilities really clean. Lunch in the terrace restaurant was really good esp considering the numner of people being catered for. Organisation in general lacked a bit. . overall enjoyed the day
J. J.
Great experience if you love/like tennis. The tour's well organized and conducted by highly knowledgeable blue badge guides. Very informative and insightful.
A. G.
The guided tour was very pleasant.. the place is very nice .. the gift shop has a complete selection of goods
S. S.
What an experience, would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys watching on the tv. We booked it the night before we were due to go so it was pretty last minute but it was absolutely brilliant.
N. M.
Wimbledon buzzes every June with the excitement of the world's best tennis players and the promise of great games, great plays, great players and great upsets.
K. B.
I was a hosted guest so has a particularly lovely time, as always it's a great vibe, great sport and brilliant service. Much quieter during the pandemic but I prefer that anyway

Great day out , lovely weather.
Didn’t get a chance to eat strawberry’s and cream :(
T. M.
Beautiful setting, great staff & associated people.
Always a wonderful experience but although different this year, was delightfully less crowded.
We love it!!
P. V.
Great day out, but not many people followed covid rules. Lots of places to eat and drink, they do amazing afternoon tea packages!
J. N.
Super day watching Centre Court matches in courtside seats, with the added Wimbledon tradition of strawberries n cream. An extremely well managed event.
B. M.
What an absolutely beautiful venue. Well worth a visit!
S. J.
What better place to be on a warm English Summer day. Wimbledon tennis. It may take a 6 hour queue to get in, but isn't a love of queues also typically English? When I finally said goodbye to my new found queuing friends it was a little sad - after 6 hours I felt I knew them well. Throw in the strawberries and cream, the Pimms and the ambience of a beautiful sunny day with all the beautiful people - and there you have it. Oh Yes, the tennis isn't bad either.!ź
R. L.
Fantastic organisation and brilliant tennis on court 12
T. H.
Lovely ambience
M. D.
For me the most amazing venue I have ever been to. Its beauty knows no bounds. Plus I love tennis 🎾!
K. R.
Actually finding it funny Google suggests to review AELTC. One of the surreal moments watching Fedrer play in centre court at Wimbledon. Apart from that a few years ago. The quing experience overnight to get tickets to court two was another bucket list experience.
Y. B.
A real dream come true when visiting this place every year! Amazing atmosphere, beautiful food, british weather! Whats not to love!! Roger Federer on centre court?! Does it get any better?
H. Y.
Enjoyed three beautiful matches today with a dear friend. Thank you tennis stars, especially Ash Barty and Karolina Pliskova, your fighting spirit is so inspiring!
L. J. T.
Fab if you like tennis..super people..but what a challenge to get in this year..Apps, codes, more apps ..needs simplicity for future users. Great day -) lots and lots of people and the Qs !

Bought tickets the day before for Manic Monday. Saw some fantastic tennis on court 3. My 6th visit, brilliant place.
G. T.
Best year ever!

The Wimbledon annual tennis Championships is a marvel to experience, even during Covid. The atmosphere is next to none, attended by royalty, starts and fame, the event is seen by many players as being held on hallowed grounds. The only GrandSlam still held on grass, SW19 delivers in green & purple, brimming with pomp, tradition, stunning flowers, iconic strawberries & cream (free for those banking with HSBC), subdued with limited advertising in light colours only, and years of experience. 2020 was cancelled due to covid. 2021 ticket have been available via Ticketmaster. Your will need a my Wimbledon account, and the all on you phone to strike the virtual ticket. You will also need proof of double vaccination from the NHS app/print out & Government photo ID, or proof from the NHS text or app that have have a negative lateral flow (Rapid antigen test). Once you have proven your covid status, you get a wristband to enter the grounds. You might wear a mask when ever you are not sitting down.
P. F.
Always great to visit this institution.
P. H.
Excellent day out. Very beautiful flowers. Would recommend you go if you can get tickets. Well organised.
N. H.
Its Wimbledon, what more can I say, :). Although the strawberries & cream were disappointing, opened the box to find a poultry amount & small dollop of cream, it was actually 1 thing I looked forward too there as they rave, but it was pretty poor tbh, but its the experience overall of center court, once in a lifetime opportunity to see Federer before retirement, you cant miss that.
S. V.
A must if your a fan off tennis
Spent 8 solid hour watching 4 games
Very good disabled access and facilities
Staff very helpful on entering the grounds
Making it a memorable experience and stressless
S. B.
A wonderful place to be, much better than watching on TV. The atmosphere so powerful, the people so friendly, smiles and lovely words mingling with the flora, wonderful memories and watching the love and the power of the wonderful players of the wonderful game of tennis. 🙂
L. J.
A great day out on No1 court.
M. R.
Awesome! No more words needed. Incredible experience. Will go back even if I have to stand in the queues again! Roanic in the pic

Amazing day at the final! Had to queue up from 5-6am and only got in after 10:00

Wimbledon is beautiful, the plants and landscaping are worth the visit on their own. Highly recommend a visit and the tennis was quite good too :)

Very nice place, staff are really helpful

Martina Navratilova won nine single titles, which is the most so far.Serena Williams has won seven and Venus Williams has won five.Sersna hit a record 102 aces in 2012. Venus hit a record serve of 129 mph. In 2007 Venus became the lowest_ ranked player ever to win the ladies singles title. She was no 23 seed when she beat Marion Bartoli.Well done to all players. Looking forward to Wimbledon soon A wonderful tournament.
n. k.
Great place to watch the best tennis. Amazing atmosphere and crowds. Great food options.
Centre court is historic and being able to watch legends such as Djokovic and Federer is unreal.
A. G.
So greate to see Federer against Nadal
G. B.
Second best day of my life. Incredible grounds. Even better staff. Superb tennis. And perfect vibes. Take me back!!
J. L.
We went on the tour and it was excellent. The weather was terrible which made some of the tour, which was outdoors, quite difficult. However our guide, Andy, was brilliant. He gave great insight into the working of the club and the Championships with lots of anecdotes. He answered all questions and listened to people's comments. We thought it was excellent value for money. The museum was very interesting with lots of historical details and artefacts. As a tennis fan for almost 50 years, this was a fantastic insight into the Championships and I will enjoy watching this year even more than usual. Highly recommended.

Pros:
- Gives me a thrill just talking about the experience, such is the stature about this place.
-Located in the outskirts out the city, this place is overloaded with sporting history, to walk to the various courts and feel the sense of tennis is truly AMAZING.
- The court where the longest tennis match was played, the players change rooms, the press conference room, the worldwide broadcasting press room, the players memorabilia room and EVERYTHING is just magical.
- The icing to everything is the CENTER COURT, not sure if I'll be ever to afford to watch a match on that court but just visiting the same will be etched in my memory for the rest of My lifetime.
- The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly.
- The gift shop is very good, loads of options for souvenirs. Fair pricing.
Cons:
- None.
Verdict:
-Overall it a place to be visited by all, no matter if you like tennis or not, I'm sure just a visit there would be a experience by itself.
S. W.
Very lucky to experience centre court. The venue is everything I hoped for and more.
A. B.
World class experience, from the parking, to the match on centre court, to the food and shopping. Excellent vibes! Used car park #6.
h. 2.
Very good event well organised as always
R. D.
Amazing experience but the shop is way too expensive. They would sell more if they lowered the prices or had more affordable gifts or Wimbledon chocolate.
T. V.
The most posh place to go and watch a tennis grand slam. Classy venue, great to walk around and see the outside courts. Try the strawberries with cream and Pimm's
V. S.
This place is an absolute delight for a tennis lover. The museum, the tour, the history, everything. Beautiful!
b. f.
There is not a bad seat in centre court even if you are sat in the back row. We were lucky enough to sit behind the royal box this year

Wimbledon Ladies Finals - 50th Birthday Treat.. #Amazing🎂🎾🍹📸🎾😎❤
C.
I would say it’s a very social, but individual club. Lots going on and with reasonable facilities. The staff are always helpful and the hockey club is amazing! Lots of memories and friendships here.
B. M.
When I went, I thought it was breaded mash potato, but in fact, it is rip off tennis.
L. S.
The home of Wimbledon. The journey here is nothing less than a piligrimage.
M. F.
The home of tennis. Incredible atmosphere. Be prepared for scorching sun and biblical rains

Great facility, grounds and courts. Home of the Wimbledon tournament
H. B.
Absolutely fabulous time in Wimbledon at ladies semi finals all thanks to Wimbledon and all Staff for a brilliant day

Amazing as always.. so good to be back. Anyone who hasn't been to watch Wimbledon should try to go at least once
J. P.
Classy Establishment, well equipped and staffed for COVID restrictions
L. F.
Food is good, it’s better if you can find a quiet time to go. Usually busy and service can be a bit off. Better a few years ago.
P. S.
Always a true pleasure and a treat to be at Wimbledon. Polite, friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful atmosphere. A privilege to attend.
B.
Amazing environment. Very organized and polite staff. You get exactly what you pay for the tickets. Worth every penny.

IT WAS AMAZING BECAUSE WE WENT TO WIMBLEDON!!!!

OMG what a place. What an atmosphere. Food and drink surprisingly reasonable cost. And of course the tennis was amazing. LOVED IT!!
G. J.
Fantastic day out but you will need plenty of money. Atmosphere is amazing.
D. N.
Great tennis, friendly help . Bucket list for sure. But bring patience for travel during peak times.

Amazing place during the championship and great atmosphere.

Professional Blue badge guides conduct private tours. In depth, easy to understand, and personal. Highly recommended. Our guide Kyoko was brilliant.
D. B.
Astonishing. So well organized, smiles, pleasantries, and a genuine good feeling about the place.
My first time, gobsmacked at how well operated it is.
J. D.
Visiting the All England Club on a whim of spontinuity for an entry to Wimbledon and seeing some of the greatest names in tennis was a dream come true.
P. C.
Great museum tour and tour of no 1 Court. Had a fantastic time.
P. E.
Superb venue to watch the Wimbledon Championships, great atmosphere all around. Food & drink is quite expensive however.
J. N.
My favourite place!!!
B. F.
First class facility which is always in immaculate condition.
J. B.
Best tennis grounds in the world. Highly recommend the experience of the main event in July annually!
A. L.
The Wimbledon Championships are a marvellous experience for those who are lucky enough to get tickets. I love the place.
J. V.
A place for those who love their tennis with a quintessentially English flavour...
A. S.
Super day in every way; excellent staff, great facilities, stunning grounds and floral displays, tennis was incredible!
K. S.
Amazing place, with great food options
A. K.
Always an amazing experience visiting wimbeldon especially if you are lucky enough to be on center court. Great crowd atmosphere and good viewing angles from most locations!! It's good to explore the whole complex with Murray mound and henman hill, the strawberry and cream stand and much more
V. D.
It's like a carnival!
Amazing place - watching tennis with some great food and drinks is an awesome way to spend a day
T. C.
Excellent guided tour of the courts and all the places that the public normally never see. Superb guide giving first class information and passing on her in depth knowledge of Wimbledon. Then we walked at our leisure through the museum of tennis. Fascinating and nostalgic. A great day out.
A. S.
There's no where quite like Wimbledon and camping for tickets takes it to a new level. Packing your tent away at 6am is becoming, for some, a Wimbledon tradition.
J. V.
Fantastic Wimbledon experience!!! Brilliant organization, well kept, good atmosphere
L. B.
Excellent all around.
M. M.
Loved the museum and the chance to see Centre Court. Dorothy was a kind and helpful guide.
M. P.
If you've never been to Wimbledon then I would recommend doing it once in your lifetime. My first experience this year and I must say one that I will remember forever. The best thing was I got to share the excitement with a loved one that made the day even more special. If you don't do the annual ballot, give it ago you will never know when your luck might come in. Great day and great fun.
T. B.
Amazing experience as ever - even if you're not interested in tennis, it's well worth visiting during Wimbledon.
A. S.
We actually got to see players playing tennis and u can watch as many matches as u won't it's really great and u can buy tennis balls that the tennis players have touched
S. L.
So professional and well organised
M. E.
Fabulous day to remember, what an experience on Centre court. Wimbledon I salute you. An experience I will never forget.
s. k.
Amazing!!! Exactly how i had seen on tv👍👍
R. W.
What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Was sad to leave and will be trying to get tickets for Wimbledon from now on!
J. M.
Went for the tournament this year. Queued on the day (middle Saturday) at half 5 in the morning and got in by half 11. Would definitely recommend a picnic for this period plus taking food on for the day. Once in however, it was amazing. Got to watch some great games of tennis and ended buying a ticket to court 1 for 10 pounds in the resale queue (took 20 mins although centre court queue was closed after an hour). Overall I would fully recommend anyone to go!!
O. N.
Amazing place as always. Immaculately maintained, not too over-priced (OK, it is a little bit) and a great atmosphere despite the Covid circumstances.
T. C. S.
Beautiful scenery and spectacular site worth the visit
T. S.
Amazing place and very well organised to the benefit of the visitor
A. F.
We had tickets for Number 1 court and saw 3 stunning singles games. A great atmosphere and no queues to get in - or to get food & drink around the grounds which was unexpected. Everyone there seems to enjoy the day and we watched a few games on the outer courts as well. Here you can get right up close to the players and really experience the speed and power of the professional game. Meals were a little on the pricey side - but by no means outrageous for a top event in London. Overall a cracking day out and we hope to go again next year.
P. H.
An outstanding experience attending the men's singles final. Very well organised and all the team were very friendly.
K. F.
Good tour very good quide would have liked to have visited the locker room.
W. S.
Great place to go every year, recommended to everyone who enjoys tennis. The grounds are stunning, the place is full of heritage, it's a really amazing place to visit. Outside of the Championships, I have attended for a tour of Centre Court and had a very classy 3 course meal, a lovely occasion and the behind the scenes areas are very enlightening. You really get to see things you never normally would. Fantastic
S. W.
The Covid test was a joke. Our group of 4 were asked if we had Covid passes and just saying 'yes' was enough, did not actually need to show any evidence. Also never showed any photo ID to anyone. Not a very strong test event.
H. W.
Wimbledon is a truly lovely place and the Championships are fabulous. If like us you're lucky enough to get ballot tickets it's a real privilege. It's friendly courteous and respectful staff are all wonderful. Just a lovely wonderful place.
M. A.
So different to when I was last there. I had a fantastic day. I went with a group of friends, we took the tour and entrance to the museum, absolutely amazing the history of the club and exhibition of memorabilia so we'll displayed. We also had a lovely lunch served by very pleasant and helpful staff. It brought back so many happy memories of my younger days. I know everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
A. A.
Simply an amazing place, up there with my best sporting stadia visits and memories of high class sport. Tennis levels were incredible! Wimbledon staff are wonderful and very ambassadorial for the area as a whole and the sport displayed. Friendly visitors, I wish only that some of the visitors respect the smoking rules and areas allocated rather than lighting up as they see fit in shared areas.....disrespectful and rude. If you've never been, it's a must!
S. D.
The museum here is full of interesting of
interesting tennis facts and is very well presented but take the tour as well to see center court, the tv studios and much more of Wimbledon than one can normally see.
There is also a very good cafeteria here as you will probably be spending quite a lot of time here.
M. B.
Just amazing, the opportunity to be there is awesome, everyone is helpful. And the tennis that they were playing was really great. Definitely going there again next year.
Lot of people there but that's something you should get used to. The tickets are bit pricey, but that's ok because it's worth the price.
P. T.
Great venue for the best tennis tournament in the world! Good variety of eating places.
Lovely surroundings.
R. P.
Brilliant day out. The atmosphere was electric, everyone so friendly. Well organised.
G. R.
Joined the queue at 6:30 am for general admission... And it was so worth it! What an organised system, and Wimbledon never disappoints! Weather, tennis and atmosphere were amazing! Took our bubbly and picnic and had the most fantastic time! Highly recommend!
F. N.
A fantastic venue which lives up to its expectations. Any staff that we encountered on the day were all lovely!
M. S.
Very well organised, clean and tidy at all times. Flowers amazing and great atmosphere. Beautiful place!
D.
Britain at its smartest best. Superb organisation and great atmosphere
P. A.
A dream come true to see Wimbledon , lovely and well organised stewards and people from the services seating us
H. C.
Visited for the Championship and absolutely loved it. Too much to see in a day, need to go back next year to see the rest!
c.
What a great tour! It’s near impossible to get tickets to Wimbledon, unless you 1) win the lottery 2) join the club which has a 20 year wait list and requires 2 sponsors or 3) win the tournament. Therefore, the tour is as close as I’ll ever get. It was worth it, though. Fantastic grounds and great, historic review of tennis.
N. M.
Lovely day out at the tennis but you don't half pay for it. But nowhere does it better than the AELTC!
A. K.
Brilliant day of tennis, couldn't ask for more. Covid measures taken to the full, no hassle, best people management on site.
M. S.
The grounds have been extensively landscaped over the years. There is lots to do, a good selection of places to eat and drink. Making it a must visit venue when the tournament is on.
The museum is worth a visit anytime of the year. Lots of things to see and do for all ages.
R. L.
Great tour for tennis fans.
J. A.
Excellent atmosphere seeing Federer and Nadal playout another great match
C. K.
A fitting experience for the home of the world's greatest game.
R. V.
Amazing venue with so much history. The queuing process was quite easy and the grounds were very clean and tidy for Wimbledon. While they don't allow non members in the members area I'm sure it is quite nice too. Love Wimbledon!
p. w.
There isn't a lot to say about Wimbledon that hasn't been said previously, but this really is an institution. As you walk to the venue, with the amazing vistas of London, the place just oozes class.
The bus of excitement around the place is contagious, the grass courts pristine and the staff immaculate.
Strawberries & cream, pimms and champagne everywhere (not too expensive either), players mingling with the crowd - the atmosphere is expectant.
Such an amazing day - anyone and everyone should go!!
L. H.
My 1st time at Wimbledon. It was well organised as you would expect and the staff were really friendly. Long queues to get on to Henman Hill due to social distancing but worth the wait. Strangely there was no social distancing in the queues themselves which was a bit of a contradiction. Overall a lovely day
C. C.
An iconic part of British history. Amazing place to visit with or without the tennis.
P. M.
Best place for experience tennis game
K. B.
Great day out for the prize. Plenty to see, just follow the regulations for safety pyrposes, which then makes for a relaxing fun time out.
F. B.
They let too many people in. If you had a ground pass then 15 years ago you could reasonably see the outer court matches. There is no point in going unless you have seats allocated. Also the ticket prices are now OTT.
E. M.
This where the stars of Tennis play and are groomed to epitome of success
C. S.
Went on middle Saturday of Wimbledon and although very busy it was extremely well organised and the staff were all friendly and helpful 😊🎾🍓
D. R.
Fantastic day, felt very safe in these covid times. Amazing staff and atmosphere, an amazing experience. Thank you
J. S.
Wonderful day spent at Wimbledon. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and of course amazing tennis!
H. H.
Quality has gone up in concessions. Prices for food reasonable. Semi finals so mot so crowded. Great day out .
K. M.
Absolutely worth doing this when in England even if you aren't a hardcore tennis fan. The experience is unmatched and really loved the tour guide! She was very experienced and had some really good stories to tell!! Go for it!!!! Don't miss this one!!!
G. G.
Went to make a delivery there , place was nice and clean
C. W.
Centre court at Wimbledon was a great day. Our first time there and didn't realise you can take drinks and food in with you. We'll definitely pack a picnic next time. Food court is good but very pricey
C. R.
First visit to Wimbledon and had a fantastic day. Everything was perfect.
I would recommend that if you visit court 2 you need headwear in the sun as there's no shade available. I would also recommend you do as we did and prepaid for the car park which was ideally located close by. Brilliant day.
C. D. F.
Amazing place. At least once in your life you ve got to experience Wimbledon, especially if you are a tennis fan 🥰
J. T.
I adore tennis so this was always on my bucket list. But this was even more than I expected. Fantastic atmosphere and grounds were beautiful. I cant wait to go back. Staff were great also. I would suggest taking your own food as it can get expensive.
N. J.
Centre court seats are pretty tight, and VERY hot
N.
First time at Wimbledon excellent day. 🎾🎾🎾
g. b.
A fantastic day on centre court and what an atmosphere. The only issue was the queuing system to enter the venue took well over an hour.
D. N.
Great accessible seating on court 1. Centre court has terrible options. Lovely grounds. Convenient car park. Helpful staff. Great vibe. Who knew? 😂
Lucky to have been. And all thanks to the lovely L.
J. P.
Queued for tickets overnight for the second time in two years and it is always a highlight of my summer. The day queuing in Wimbledon park meeting the people around you is always an interesting experience. The seats are incredible for what you're paying, you are invariably close to the action. Amazing fun.
K. P.
Fantastic. ..so well organised. ..no queues anywhere. ..no even the ladies loo!!! 😁
S. F.
A really great day. First visit to Wimbledon and managed to get tickets for number one court.
A. K.
The is an unique place in its own way. Although I just took a visitor tour but its always amazing to see a place where so much history is written for Tennis. The tour itself was an amazing experience and our guide was quite enjoyable. She showed her lot of places which I am sure I would not have covered if I were there just for a game. Sitting in the news rooms and sitting on those chairs where the players sit and give an interview was a breathtaking moment.
R. K.
What can you say about Wimbledon. The place is awesome even when there is no play. Got to spend good enough time on the Centre Court sans the Lines. The museum is wonderful. Go there early so as to spend good enough time. This needs a leisurely visit
R. O.
Iconic to tournament. We turned up on the second week Wednesday and were able to score grounds passes with no trouble, and no lines. I don't think we'd have had to arrive too early in order to get actual seats, but we simply enjoyed being on the grounds, having strawberries and cream, and a Pimm's cup.
M. M.
A brilliant place lots of thing to do if you like sports. If you want to enjoy it make sure to plan in advance! If you're with friends be careful not to loose them there are often lots of people and it's pretty big so it's easy to get lost.
S. C.
What can I say loved everything about this place, staff and volunteers excellent at their jobs. Looking forward to next year already.
E. H.
Great place. What a wonderful day
G. L.
A true experience, the view from the new No1 court, even from 'the gods' was excellent. Everyone should do this at least once in their life!
D. R.
The atmosphere at Wimbledon is amazing. Seeing the tennis in front of you is awe inspiring. Everyone around the court has a role and it works perfectly. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. It is definitely a must go to place, if you get the chance.
V. S.
Greatest tournament in the world organised to the perfection, thanks to the all staff and American express for Wimbledon 2021....
A. W.
The tour was really well done and the museum well orchestrated. I would recommend you come here if you are a tennis fan. Went on a Monday at 11:30am and it wasn't too crowded. The food at the cafe was tasty and fairly priced as well.
D. S.
Beautiful well kept. Staff friendly even though very busy
J. H.
Still buzzing from our Wimbledon visit! This whole event and locale was some of the best kept grounds I have ever been on. All the staff, from the security to the bar tenders always had a smile and went out of their way to help you out. The tennis we saw on court one was amazing and we can't wait to go again!
L. K.
Great day at Ladies finals, great atmosphere around the ground, plenty of staff around to help, good food available
R. B.
A beautiful space with an excellent vibe. You don’t need Center court tickets to have a great time.
M. B.
Love the All England Lawn Tennis Club Great venue. Been going here for years for the Wimbledon championship food and drink is surprisingly good value bearing in mind such a big event. Security and entrance process is really simple so no big queues. Well done for providing a great venue for top tennis.
R. A.
Amazing
The staff and feilisitise are more than 5*
D. M.
Stood in the queu for two days at the end of week 1, and had grounds passes both days. Many matches to watch and the non-"show" stadiums, 3,12, and 18 I think, were fantastic as you're very close to the action. Great experience, highly recommended.
S. L.
Enjoyed the whole experience very much.. Only criticism is that I had to eat standing up! More seating would be of benefit.
Impressed with cleanliness generally & helpful staff. Something to tick off my bucket list after 8 years in the ballot.
E. B.
Atmosphere is amazing. This is one special place that anyone would love. Helpful staff and volunteers. Up close with tennis stars. Plenty of places to purchase food and drinks. Strawberries and cream are only £2.50 which considering it's a big venue I expected it to cost more.
Plenty of recycling bins.
Areas to picnic. Beautiful grounds.
Lots of water filling stations.
P. J.
You simply can't do it better than this. Go to Wimbledon even if you don't like tennis. It's an incredible experience. Everything is perfect especially the staff and the way they just seem to know that this is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many. The place is immaculate and you will struggle to find a single piece of litter on the ground.
C. T.
Who doesn’t enjoy a trip to Wimbledon!
