Nice facilities. Gym area not the biggest but decent equipment and nicely spread out. Great people that are willing to help out. Only issue and quite a big one is the hours, I don't understand the reason behind closing so early on the weekends.

Not too deep and life guards all over, a water fountain thing you can go through. A slide which was open for the whole time. Lots of kids so the waves wasn't very big or powerful, but not sure if that's diffrent at certain times. 2 young women at front desk was very helpful explaining everything to me. Overall fun time =)

You have to pre book your swimming slot on line otherwise no entry. Our slot was only for an hour which was long enough. Only problem is because you all come in together and most all stay the full hour getting a shower or changing cubicle can mean waiting. However the fun swim was fun. My grandchildren enjoyed it

Children attend this leisure centre for swimming lessons every week. Good instructors who mix team sessions with individual one to one. The Children love it. The price for the monthly roll on cost per child is reasonable.

My son goes swimming at the Archway Leisure Centre and he has done so much progress. Their prices are very reasonable and the classes might not be small but I feel each child gets petty of attention during the 30min swimming. I highly recommend it.

There are a lot of machines that can be used but some of them are kept in very bad conditions. There is a lot of space anyway and it's usually crowded on the weekdays.

Started here as I fancied a change. Wasn't disappointed. Big gym, plenty of equipment. Plenty of space. Didn't feel too close to anybody & didn't feel intimidated by any fitty floras (Phew). Pool sections cater for all ages, experience & ability. Decent changing rooms. My fave centre.

Lovely day with my three nieces and my cousin’s partner. We had a great time. Lifeguards are extra cautious with everyone’s safety which I totally respect and appreciate. Looking forward to the slide opening soon.

The kids love coming here because I once broke my toe on the water slide. To be fair it is pretty good with a slide, waterfall type bit and a wave machine, though that last is a bit lame. I have never caught a verucca there. Changing rooms are communal

We took our child here for beginning swimming lessons, booked through betterlessons.org.uk. The facility is new and beautiful, with a pleasing pool and some fun slides. The facility is well staffed with lots of staff available at every step of the process; they are very strict about implementing the safety rules which I appreciate. Our child did not take well to the lessons, which were rushed with lots of shouting. She was in tears and refuses to try swimming again. The other children seemed fine, your mileage may vary! We will now begin the cancellation process, which is described by dozens of paragraphs in the T&C.

Only reviewing the swimming pool: best in the area for taking toddlers and children. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Serious swimmers wanting to do laps are probably better served by larger pools, but for kids this is great. Our 2 year old loves the bubbles and wave machine, it's fun exercise for him.

The place has good facilities, the machines work correctly, however people do not usually clean them after using them. What really stands out is the staff, they are always willing to help and there are some that make your day with your comments like the girl at the reception Daniela, you definitely see that she loves her job. I also really liked how she took the time to explain every membership available and help me decide which was best for me. Good place 👌👌I recommend it.

Great pool for small kids! However not so great for adults without kids. About 98% of the pool is shallow water. The deeper area is very very tiny and gets easily overcrowded. The water was also way too warm. Also there are not enough changing rooms and lockers on the women’s side.

We went swimming with a bunch of 6 year olds. It’s very good for this age as there is a large area where it’s not too deep for them. They also loved the slide. We didn’t quite get that there were only 3h slots available and they empty the pool out between each slot. Which means, that if you arrive halfway through, you only have one hour to enjoy the pool then. But I guess we could’ve read that on the website if we analysed it. Furthermore, the changing rooms weren’t super clean. But that’s what to be expected in a public London pool.

Pools nice and staff are friendly but most times there's a delay with the kids swimming lessons and I feel like the kids sit on the side alot once they have a few seconds swim just to sit and watch other children swim(think it's a waste of time). My little one is more confident in the pool due to the lesson's but I think it could improve slightly. Rushing to much in my opinion

Worth visit for some swimming fun, has a nice flume for those enjoy a slide. Quite small with only one leasure pool and a small area for learner swimmers, not may individual changing rooms but clean and tidy. Showers were good with warm and cold water, hair dryers provided. Worth a few visits.

Best Leisure Centre pool for families that we've visited in London. Demand is high so visits are arranged in 90 min time slots. That was a good amount for my kids. They loved it and want to return. Note that it is crowded but hey, that's London.

A modern swimming pool with good facilities and friendly staff. However the changing rooms and the showers are extremely dirty on "only women - spa" days and sometimes also at the end of the day on normal days. It would be really good if it is kept clean also for late visitors or during the busy only ladies days.

It's an OK gym. I cannot speak for the swimming pool because I haven't done any swimming there yet, although the pool area looks like a waterpark occupying 80% of the space. It has a decent gym with a variety of pulling weight machines and free weights. I've never experienced any issue during these first 2 months, although the cute lady at the reception, you know who you are, should smile a bit more, life is too short for being so serious.

Good gym, though quite a few of the machines are quite odd. Decent selection if spa style things like sauna and Jacuzzi but all quite simple. The pool is fun for kids with a lazy river and slide, but for exercise it is far far too hot for lane swimming.

I used the swimming pool there and it is a huge place with multiple lanes. The price is good and they do pay as you go as well. The water is very clean. The only drawback is that they seem to do a lot of lessons and when this happens it is going to be only one or two lanes available, and it is going to be really loud too. I suggest anyone who wants to use the pool there to get a full detailed information about their class times before you go.

Really good gym with lots of machines, great health suite (sauna and steam) and the pool is great for kids. They have lane swimming in the pool, but only mornings and evenings - the rest of the time it is a fun pool for kids with a slide, wave machine etc - that's the only downside to this leisure centre for me, everything else is great. Good opening hours too, even on a Sunday.

This is one of the better Better leisure centres in Islington. Although the changing room and sauna facilities are small they are in good condition and the pool tends to be a bit warmer which is good for little ones. Not many lanes for swimming but it doesn't get too busy either during those sessions. Lovely staff too

I'm glad to be back at the gym however they are getting on my nerves clearing up washing floors spraying equipment whilst you are training!!! they need to restrict this to the end of the day as clients are cleaning equipment and machinery as they use it.

This place has a gym, sauna, steam room, and pool with slide. The gym is medium sized but has everything you need. All equipment regularly cleaned. An issue I have is I attended the induction and the next day I received an email saying I needed to pay £3.00 for not showing up to induction. I emailed them to correct this. I also went to the reception where a guy called Paul promised to remove the fine on two separate occasions. It will be a month next week and still the fine has not been removed. Everytime I go, I scan my card and ask the receptionist if it has been removed, she said it is still there and told me to send another email (she said this 4x now). I don't have to keep on sending an email. I've given them all the details including the name of the instructor who did my induction. All they need to do is act on it. You can't be hassling the customer to send an email everytime for something that is not even the customer's fault. I get the feeling like they can't be bothered to remove it. As to the guy who has the power to remove it, he even has time to chitchat with lady gym goers but can't take a few minutes to sort out customer concerns. Like really? I am frustrated with this lazy behaviour.

I like the staff - they are always in a good mood and treat you with respect even assuming their mistakes. Naomi was my instructor and she is so pleasant to talk to and have a positive energy. Points for improvement: - more benches, mirrors in the female changing room. It's a bit overcrowded sometimes. - I REALLY wish they had yoga or pilates in the Archway branch. Please consider this!

I'm very impressed with this gym! I'm not a habitaul gym goer but I impulsively purchased a five-day pass on Friday night and popped in on Saturday morning. I didn't traverse the whole building, but the centre appears to be recently refurbished and is very clean with a very well-equipped and fully-functional gym complete with NFC enabled equipment. The overall atmosphere here was so calm and welcoming that I stayed for a couple of hours and returned again the next day. I very grudgingly deducted one star ONLY because they don't have WiFi and mobile reception is quite poor indoors.

One main pool in a slope, waves, one big slope, light stream, and other small events. The good thing is there is place to park buggy, wait, family friendly. Also the water is swallow everywhere. Bad is you are in for only 90 min, it's very strict, and don't expect to actually swim if you are an adult. It's only a good place for young children in the city, but a relaxing place or sport.

Come here nearly everyday as it is my closest gym and swimming. The gym I love! The gym changing room too is beautiful. The swimming pool changing room however is always dirty, even though I see the cleaners in there regularly, it's just always dirty.

Overall ok... the main downfalls is that they need a better run service for the sauna on a Thursdays (women only) due to the lack of staff, the sauna can get overcrowded and full with some women who don't even have a sauna ticket! Their friends just let them in....Additionally the new gym changing rooms that are located downstairs is a bad idea because people who have swam use it so the floors are wet most of the time and having a weighing machine in full view of everyone in the gym is also a bad idea and a huge complex for those that may not want to weigh themselves in front of others!

This is a very good pool I go there every week. Maybe the changing rooms are a bit bad but after all they got aq very nice gym and an amazing swimming pool with slides,waves,bubbles and much more enjoy it everytime.Also the staff are very helpful and there fun all they want to make sure is that you are safe at then end of the day!

I never turn on all the jacuzzi usually they only have one going and they turn it on once a day they don't turn it on for the whole day once a day out of 7 days a week for 2 hours you're better off going to Kings Cross St Pancras Leisure the jacuzzi is switched on 24/7

Only ever used the swimming pool. The kids love the slide and the 'rapids'. I prefer the lanes. Only issue is the slow lane which is rather shallow for me, maybe I need to go faster ;-)

The staff here are a great lot, ready to jump in and help on request, always clean and function s very well, the disabled changing rooms leave a lot to be desired, but that's on the council to sort out, on the other hand the pool is very accessible to wheelchair users and they have a wave machine, I give 4 stars due to poor disabled changing facilities.
