If someone Is serious about getting into competitive swimming then this is the place to come. The kids 8 onwards get into rigorous regime of learning how to swim in competitions. I reckon one of the best coaches in the country - Rhys - who coached 4 world record holders

Those that complain about pools, showers and changing areas being dirty are probably the same people that walk around with their outside shoes on. Despite several posters and notices and even staff asking! I like the new setup. Facilities are great and staff are friendly!

Nice little leisure centre, all new. From a swimming perspective, it’s a shame lifeguards don’t enforce the swimming lane speed guides, instead allowing people to swim in any lane regardless of ability. This makes it hard to get a good quality workout in if you consider yourself a ‘medium’ or ‘fast’ lane user.

Most of the staff are quite helpful,friendly and courteous when dealing with clients. However,there are few people there including crew manager (s) who need training on good customer services and to be educated on conscious or unconscious biases more specifically when it comes to race, as I have been singled out on three occasions in just under three months of membership (and all those times I was the only person of colour).

The facilities are really good as you would expect from somewhere brand new. It's such a shame they can't keep up with cleaning in the changing areas. Already looks grubby. If they stopped people coming into the changing areas with out door shoes it wouldn't be such a issue. Not hard to bring pair flip flops.

The whole building has been rebuilt recently. All areas are clean and tidy. I checked the gym and it's was so spacious and clean. Swimming pools are fresh and very clean. There are a lot of parking spaces for everyone. Loads of disabled bays are available as well.

It's a BETTER gym so it's pretty good. We go swimming and pay badminton. Staff could be more helpful but they may be just really busy. It's all new, the building, pool and car park which has electric charge points which is pretty helpful.

It's nicely renovated and most of the staff is good. However they seems to be overdoing COVID regulations. For example, on some lanes kids can jump from the blocks during their swimming lesson, but other swimmers on different lanes are not allowed to jump from the blocks.

Modern and clean facilities. On Sundays the family changing rooms for the pool were in high demand, as was the parking, possibly because of the nearby game at Saracens. Only one lane was opened to the 50 percent of swimmers in family groups who were not participating in lane swimming, so crowded.

The Gym is Great!! With first class equipment! And it has everything! From fitness to weights to boxing to yoga! (Would be even better if it was a bit bigger.) But I really like it!

Modern well designed swimming pool with an abundance of natural daylight coming into the pool area, this is really wonderful. The gym is quite spacious with an extensive range of machines and weights , I would certainly recommend this gym

Needs major renovation to stay relevant but they seem to have prioritised paving the car park instead of gutting the changing rooms and poolside area. Main pool free swim shallow end was busy and cramped, with the other pools closed and lots of families wanting to swim. Overall vibe is one of a mediocre outsourced UK public facility

Good facilities, tho the building is dated and will be demolished soon. 3 pools, gym, studio for various exercise classes. Shower room needed updating. There is limited food facility. Car park facility is adequate. The new swimming complex is almost finished.

I like this building. It doesn't matter about how grotty it is, it matters that it has a nice pool, a good gym and friendly staff and this building has all 3 of those things. I would especially like to mention Akshay, who I think is one of the friendliest members of staff there. The only problems are the small changing rooms but this will be solved when the new building is going to be put up, and the fact that because they are building the new building, most of the car park is taken up which means we have to use the one at Allianz Park but oh well. (I'll miss the old building but I'm sure that the new building will be nice.)

Very nice and clean place. And staff if very nice as well. Especially Ellie personal trainer. If you want to get in shape, she has all the knowledge for that. She is very professional and polite. Highly recommend her and this place.

I go here for water workout classes. There is a diving pool which has a floor they can move up and down to change the depth. The loose are smelly, and its showing its age...there was talk of another sports centre being built. Great gym, they have an air resistance suite for rehab and beginners. Great staff.

A good public leisure facility. Has 3 pools, main pool, training (shallow ) pool and a diving pool with adjustable depth. Also has a nice gym and a cafeteria. Lots of free parking. Separate changing rooms for under 16s, nice and clean.

My daughter goes to swimming classes at Barnet Coptahall and I only can say Thank you to the amazing and qualified swimming teachers that work there. My daughter had never improved as much as she has done now. Every teacher pays special attention to her skills and weaknesses. Also Adam is always able to help and advise her about how she could improve. I recommend this place to everyone!

Reception is not very welcoming. swimming pool is good quality but very very busy. changing room is big and with plenty of lockers (£1 coin needed). Showers are very weak, and there are no closed spaces.

This is a fantastic facility with lots of parking and so accessible for me. The range of classes is fantastic. I particularly enjoy the Aquafit classes that happen in the diving pool. The adjustable floor means we can have deep water Aquafit as well as intermediate shoulder high classes. A fantastic pool. For us and for local divers and synchronised swimmers and Padi divers.

I love to go to the over 55's gym classes here. 4/5 times a week. You have to book well in advance. Plenty of choice and a friendly crowd of people. There is parking but not as much since they are building a brand new leisure centre to open, hopefully summer 2019. It's so exciting. Now Copthall is shabby and the main gym ceiling is badly in need of repair. The toilets are unspeakable, especially the single one upstairs.

Went during Covid, everything was clean, however you had just an hour for swimming. No hair dryers and just one shower was quite disappointing.

Travelling and working away from home three days a week keeps me away from my local gym. However, having 'Pay as you Gym' is a fantatsic alternative. You can select from a variety of gym's, view the costs and facitlity and pick what bests suits you. What's not to like!! Excellent set up.

I went to the pool with the kids and this is my review. The staff are friendly but a few heath and safety rule to follow in the pool. The pool is clean but out dated. Not really a fun pool for the family and it's a throw back to the 70s. Needs a massive face lift.

Due to New leasure center under construction ( 42 millions invested) the existing center is rundown, never the less the staff are coping and friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble (The New center should be open by the summer 2019 keep your fingers crossed )

Shotokan Karate Classes starting in January 2012. Everyone is welcome. Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.30 to 5.30 - 6 to 10 year olds, and 5.30 to 6.30 10 years and above.
