Decent swimming pool that is quite clean. Lovely to swim in mornings with sunlight flooding in through the windows. Change rooms (female) can be rather tight especially if there are swimming classes.
great place to kick off some jet lag if you are staying on this side of London. Possible to get session passes as a visitor which is very good.

I’d say generally a good swimming pool, but they need to turn down the heat in the changing room. The water is also too hot - but most customers are in their late 60s and swim slowly, so they don’t warm up as much. Still, I would recommend bringing the water down to 25c

I love swimming here and I've been coming here for years. Staff are very helpful. I'd like to be coming here at CCS to swim for many more years too.

I have an off peak membership. There are 3 gyms, all laid out well. A good amount of aerobic machines, and the upper gym is ok if you want to use slightly heavier weights. A great mix of people. It's clean with very good air conditioning. Staff are helpful but relaxed. It's a gym for everyone.

…for a Londoner? - the best pool in the world! Yes, this is what I say about Charing Cross Hospital Sports Club swimming pool each time I pass the reception desk after a swim.
If you ever dreamt of a private pool, feeling fed-up by the state of the local facilities, this is your pool! Yes, a very clean pool, quiet with friendly staff. Unlike in some other local pools, you will find no smell of urine, fungus or chemicals or noise, just the pleasant sound of swishing water. The cosy ladies changing room is clean and comfortable. The management look after the place very well and add items which improve comfort, such as hair dryers, plastic bags, grab rails or recently, new shower heads which make showering great. Hopefully an additional non slip mat will be placed on the approach to toilets to prevent slippage.
Doing back stroke you can enjoy a view through the glass wall of beautiful trees seen outside against the blue sky and planes passing overhead. You might think you are in Hawaii especially as the pool’s water temperature is lovely and you never get a shock when immersing yourself in the water.
An additional attraction at this pool on some afternoons is an opportunity to watch swimming lessons being given by a genius teacher Perry, Norman or John the British champion. Inadvertent observations of their lessons helped me to learn the front crawl!
The pool does not seem crowded; in fact it is possible at times to be in the pool alone. The atmosphere is very good and people can do exercises by the side holding onto the rim of the pool if they want to. There are plenty of foam accessories freely available which can add attraction to the exercise, but mainly people swim in lanes.
These are my personal impressions, technical details about the pool and timetables can be found on the web page :-)
