Chelsea v Argyle!! What a day out. All quite surreal. Probably one of the best away days ever. Smart stadium with excellent views and safe standing in the away end ( my first experience) which was great. Good stewards. Concourse pretty cramped and not impressed with exiting after match. They seemed to keep the away fans locked in. Even so, it was slow and very cramped....not sure what they do for quick exit in a fire situation. You were lucky. But for covid you would be travelling to Plymouth for a replay...We outsang them from beginning to end. Champions of Europe? You're avin a laugh!!

A decent stadium that needs increasing in size and improving but does the best with what its got. Included in these images and to be found in the musuem is a model of the new stadium. The stadium tour is a 10 out of 10 and highly recommended.

Just the best tour/experience and Natalie our host was brilliant. So much more behind the scenes stuff to see than I was expecting and a great insight into what goes on without you knowing. Fabulous day, will have to do it again sometime.

Bought hospitality tickets for my Dad's birthday. We received a 3 course meal, a good selection of bottomless alcohol, half time pie, a match programme and very good seats to enjoy the game. We saw Chelsea destroy Norwich 7-0. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating. For my dad the day was perfect, a really great experience. The rating says a lot as I'm an Arsenal fan, but credit where credits due. Well done Chelsea FC 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This is the bridge! Home of Chelsea FC! The huge aura that flows through one’s body when stepping into the home of champions makes one feel alive, and excited to be part of the team and proud to call Chelsea one’s team! The stadium is amazing, even though it’s well known to be one of the smaller ones in the league. It has all the amazing facilities that one would expect from a world class stadium. Size doesn’t mean much...after all, Hazard and Zola aren’t exactly giants! Absolutely worth a visit on non-match day’s just to get into the heart and essence of the place! Recommended to all!

Got a ticket for my dads birthday. Stadium was amazing, we were sitting in the last row but saw everything perfectly. Staff was really polite and helpful. Toilets were clean and topped up! We had a lovely time.

Great to get back to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea. Atmosphere was great. However some new changes the club have initiated have not been communicated very well on security and covid rules, so they need to do better on both issues. New ticket scanners on gates also an improvement on the old ones to speed up entry.

The museum and stadium tour entrance is located quite far from the main entrance. If you’re a student, it only costs £16. The Shed Wall is quite impressive. But they could do better, I think. There’s not that much to see outside the stadium besides the Shed Wall. Tours take approximately an hour to finish at the Megastore.

We went around the estate in the low season. There is a good museum that is worth visiting before going to the stadium. The visit was punctuated by a free audioguide. The guide gave good information and had pictures for each location. The visit included the descent into the field (but not directly on it), the changing rooms of residences and visitors, the tunnel and the press room.

Pretty well organized and well presented stadium for all the history and glory of Chelsea FC. The guided tour would make you feel warm as they welcome you like VIP. Good value of money for the tour as you cannot imagine a guide be arranged for you in such a labour-expensive London.

Hospitality is key to any attraction and the minute you step off the footpath towards Stamford Bridge and greeted by security this begins. Even though I dont follow Chelsea the quality of hospitality is the best I have come across, from security to checking in to the Millenium Hotel to service in Frankies Bar to collecting match tickets to the service in Under the Bridge to the food served there to the staff as you go in. The food at Under the Bridge is excellent with staff bringing samples of various dishes around to your table. The blue cheese and pumpkin ravioli was excellent as were the hotdogs and desserts. The staff there were a credit especially the young lad with dreadlocks whose customer service was 12/10, and one of the reasons why I would go back again for a visit. Just a pity I didnt ask him his name. Continued success ....

The bell still rings to let the players know it's time for the game which is a nice touch of the romantic era of the game kept in these times of modern football. Great tour. They'll be building a new stadium in a few years. Current capacity is around 40,000. Will increase to around 60,000. Has a gift shop that is a bit pricey, but there are some clearance items if you're frugal like me.

Chelsea Football Club It was the first football Club that I ever worked at and I was pleasantly surprised, with Stadium, Its own shop, restaurant, Bars - all in all they make it a great experience Transport links are tubes (nearest is Fulham Broadway) buses (211, 14, 414, 11) Nearest shops: Fulham Broadway Retail Centre with many other Retail, Food and Bars nearby. It also has a car park close to the stadium, but would say on match night leave it at home, as they can clear a full stadium in about 20mins, and have never seen congested roads after any match Let me have a 👍🏽if you found this review helpful and share with someone who may need it

I've been coming down to London for the Chelsea v Everton and Liverpool fixtures for 21 years. Nice open space for away supporters. My only criticism would be often the away coaches would be parked a long way away from the stadium and it could be a problem on night games. Had some great times in that stadium.

Its really odd to be at a game with no fans. I volunteer with St John. They have very good medical facilities. We were there for the staff and luckily everyone made it through the game without incident. Chelsea is a lovely ground and when its full it is very very noisy. They look after us as volunteers abd ive been a few times. Its good to know that any fan who became unwell will be well looked after.

The stadium is quite nice the pitch is insane! Even got to stand next to the mascot on the pitch. Not a Chelsea fan but I do like their stadium. Their suites are amazing and the food is up to standards. If you're not going for the game, go for the experience of 3 course dining and treats. They sometimes do breakfast buffets if it's an early kick off.

I was very happy to visit Chelsea Football club house, but the only problem was that I wasn't allowed to enter inside to see the stadium. The security people stopped me and explained to me that I'm not allowed inside because of lockdown!

Stamford Bridge officially opened on the 28th of April 1877, but for the next 28 years mainly served as an athletics venue. The owners, however, wanted a stadium that could host professional football, and hired architect Archibald Leitch to design a new stadium. Stamford Bridge got almost completely rebuilt in 1905, and was subsequently offered to Fulham FC. Fulham turned the offer down though, and newly formed Chelsea FC moved in instead. Stamford Bridge at that time consisted of one covered seating stand and a vast open bowl of terraces covering the other three sides. An estimated 100,000 people could fit into the stadium. Few changes were made until 1930, when new terraces were built at the Shed End, and, nine years later, when a small seating stand was built at the North End.

Although I would rather grate my fingernails than suggest I am a fan of Chelsea, I had a nice time at Stamford Bridge. The architecture is magnificent and the fans were friendly. I felt safe in my red shirt amongst the sea of blue fans. Although Man U will always be in my heart, I have fond memories of a great day spent at Stamford Bridge.

Nice stadium, I was there for a conference. I am not sure whether this was the best venue for the event I attended. As the event was rather large, the rooms were located all over the stadium, it felt disjointed and very disorientating.

In 1904, Gus Mears acquired the Stamford Bridgeathletics stadium with the aim of turning it into a football ground. An offer to lease it to nearby Fulhamwas turned down, so Mears opted to found his own club to use the stadium. As there was already a team named Fulham in the borough, the name of the adjacent borough of Chelsea was chosen for the new club; names like Kensington FC, Stamford Bridge FCand London FC were also considered. Chelsea were founded on 10 March 1905 at The Rising Sun pub (now The Butcher's Hook), opposite the present-day main entrance to the ground on Fulham Road, and were elected to the Football League shortly afterwards.

The stadium tour lasted 1 hour which included visits to home and away changing rooms as well as the press room. The tour guide was very nice and will answer any questions you ask them. They will also take pictures of you on your electronic device. £14 is very cheap for a tour around the best club stadium

However the fans are legends and most of them are pretty drunk by the time they turn up to the ground and are happy to have a funny row over which team is better, which might end up in a humorous brawl between two supporters, quickly escalating to a war between two groups of people. LIONS AND WAR VETERANS Chelsea’s emblem has existed in five different guises since the club was founded in 1905 and, apart from the four big alterations, has been modified a number of times to adjust to the market, and the tastes and fashions of the day. What few may know is that Chelsea’s crest has a close relationship to the British military. Today’s lion is a relatively late idea and wasn’t introduced until 1953. Until then, an image of a Chelsea Pensioner represented the club. The Royal Hospital Chelsea was founded in 1682 for veterans of the British Army, and Chelsea FC chose to honour the institution – leading to the club’s first nickname, the Pensioners. In the early days, the emblem did not appear on the shirts but only on the match programmes. The Pensioner represented the club until 1952, when a temporary solution replaced the original before making way for today’s blue lion, an emblem, among others, inspired by the Abbot of Westminster (hence the staff). This emblem remained until 1986, when the legendary owner Ken Bates, who led Chelsea to great triumphs in the 1990s, both simplified and modernised the lion. Roman Abramovich’s arrival at Chelsea in 2003 saw the return of the traditional lion.

I had a seat in the west stand which offered a good view of the pitch but sadly because I was over half way up I couldn't see any of the video screens so felt I missed out there. The concessions in the ground were very expensive and I thought they were quite stark being all concrete. Good atmosphere pitch side.

My family and I visited stamford bridge as my brother is a huge chelsea fan, and the tour was very informative. we were shown the pitch as well as the dressing rooms, and the trophy room, while largely barren, was rather impressive in its size and upkeep. being a vehement arsenal fan, it was hard for me to accept that abrhamovich has done wonders for the club.
