Tia, the young lady, at the front desk is the epitome of top quality, customerservice. She was so friendly and helpful. I had so many questions and she just smiled and answered them all extremelyefficiently. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is amazing, all the people who are swimming or in yoga are helpful and nice and friendly. I had the best time ever. There are 3 pools. The rest of the facilities look absolutely fantastic plus it's cheaper than other places. I will definitely make going back a regular thing.

New and modern gym with all the facilities you could want. Memberships are decently priced and can be broken down by activity if you want. I got in the morning and it's never super busy in the gym which is great.

Started playing basketball again after a long long break and these guys hire court or half court. Surprisingly good price and decent venue. Haven't used changing rooms yet but overall ok. Parking outside is not bad out of restriction time so Saturday and Sunday free.

They have a clean and spacious swimming pool, the staff is very polite and helpful (certainly the best team of any Better centre I have visited). Covid measures are in place which means you need to come "swim ready" and book in advance so they can regulate the amount of people in the lanes at one time. Only negative comment I have is ...why are the staff wearing trainers around the pool when they ask people to remove shoes them before entering the pool area? (A policy nobody seem to care about enforcing). Definitely one of the best public pools in West London.

Pool is amazing!!! And the whole place as well. It was my first time here and the guy at the desk helped me with the app and my booking. All the corona measures to keep people safe are cool as well I prefer it this way cause pool doesn't get overcrowded.

I just went for my first post lockdown swim you can book your time slot via the Better app. If you scan your membership card more than 5 minutes ahead of your time slot it will not let you in. It is totally worth going you get plenty of space to yourself and social distancing is easy. I amazed at how much thought has been put into keeping people safe. I highly recommend that you make a visit yourself.

Kensington Leisure Centre is fantastic and they've done a great job of adapting to the COVID regulations so that you feel safe while moving through the building and to your activity seamlessly. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the one-way system is really well signposted. Swimming there is wonderful.

My 1st swim today. Very clearly marked out and staff on hand to help out. Becky( customer service) quickly linked my resident card to the online booking system. Lovely to be welcomed by Omar and Masssimo at the pool side. Don't expect hair dryers or costume spiner, otherwise clean and sanatiser to use when leaving.

Great place to play badminton with up to 7 courts and the lighting isn't bad. Courts are set up quickly and efficiently and staff are always friendly just wish they had a water fountain by the sports hall! (You have to travel 2 floors up, which is fine when the lift is working!) Only real issue is why have a spiral staircase? There's plenty of room for stairs that would be easier and safer to use if you have any mobility issues and you can't use the lift.

Good gym + swimming pool. Missing equipment and machines (eg. sitting back pull machine). A stretching floor and utils such as yoga balls should be placed on the swimming pool to stretch after exercise. Too many hair dryers and not many showers per category. A fingerprint access would be preferable over card. The swimming pool is great with a 2m depth zone.

Great Pool and site staff, poor customer service from the wider group. Please note the smaller kids pools are not open due to COVID. I'm writing this because you cannot find out this information publicly: - the BETTER website doesn't tell you this; - nor the app when you try and book; - nor does anyone pick up the BETTER general enquiry phone line; - nor does anyone answer email enquiries. Nice swimming pool with shallow water and fountains for toddlers and infants. Too busy on Saturday morning, which results in the changing rooms and communal areas being not impeccable. The café area is nice, but it would need a bit more attention in terms of more staff and cleanliness during busy periods.

Well.... although given 4stars on goggle I must wonder about that. It's neat enough, but girls at the reception desk are rather dizzy. I visited for the first time to have pool training session. Girl could not tell me much where to go or how many lanes or even if I'd ever been there)So I made my way somewhat. Lockers take £1 coin which I did not know. All hairdryers are out of order) Pool itself is ok. You can train if you get lane to yourself. Otherwise lanes are narrow. I'll sure visit again on Friday when pool is opened to adults only. Just to double check and compare the visits))

It's a very pleasant centre, staffed by friendly staff. I have found the customers to be a polite and pleasant bunch. The main pool is warm and well mentained, and of a useable size. There are both toddlers pools and a learning pool as well. The café overlooks the toddler pool, but does a lovely hot chocolate or cuppa. Worth a visit.

Girlies spa day: very nice, very clean, fantastic experience and a range of treatments. It was small but it was really nice because it made the place very cosy and relaxing. We all had an enjoyable experience with the back massage and facial treatment. I would 100% give this place an A* and will be visiting again.

I am a member here and I think it's fine. My only problem is coming to the pools and finding them closed for lessons. You have got three bloody pools.And also after 7 is for adults. I don't see the point of me coming and we have 3 lanes to share btn 50 adults because of lessons. It's like there is always some sort of class going on.

Very good facilities and clean swimming pool and changing area. Some staff however may need to improve on people skills. Went there for a pool birthday party with a bunch of 9/10 year olds. Unknown to everyone, this started by a 25m swimming test. Yep, the full length! Resulted in my daughter and a couple of other kids being left in tears as they were told they were not allowed to join the party in the 87cm deep baby pool because they failed the test. After talking to two staff members including a manager who kept saying no, a third one (lifeguard) said it would be okay if an adult went with them in the baby pool. This could have been made clearer for the start, so was the necessity of such a test. One of the mums was already in the water so it wasn't a problem. All the children who 'failed' the test were seen diving, playing, jumping off floats and having a great time with the rest of the party in the baby pool.

Amazing afternoon spend at the thermal spa. Was here for 4 hours (!). First was able to use the main pool, did my 40 laps. Then went up to the thermal spa, lovely jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and relaxation lounge with herbal tea and fruit + fancy magazines. You are then called through for your treatment. I had the 50 minute Elemis facial - absolute bliss. All this for £45! A 30min facial alone in London would be £80+!! Definitely coming back, thank you all who work here. Friendly staff too!

Wednesday 4th May, this is the third alternative BETTER swimming pool I visited during the closure of the Aquatic Centre(for 2016 European Aquatics Championship). I happened to be in west London that day so I decided to visit the venue, and I met the "COMPUTER SAYS NO" woman at reception! I arrived just before 4pm for a swim. The lady at the reception(despite having black short hair, her attitude reminded me of Carol Beer in Little Britain!) had no idea about the closure of the Aquatic Centre and insisted that I had to pay the full fee to use the pool there. I didn't want to waste my time arguing with her. So I spoke to another staff named Anton was kind enough to get the duty manager - Roger out of the office. And he turned out to be very helpful!!! He checked the email I received from GLL Better (regarding upgrade of my membership to access other pools in the country) and let me in to use the pool. He also contacted the upper management (I believe it's the manager of the leisure centre) to report this incident while I was looking for the email on my phone and promised that he'd contact the customer service to rectify the error on the computer system. Very clean floor in the spacious male changing room with the refundable £1 lockers. The shower with adjustable mixer was excellent! During my visit, there were several children swimming lessons going on so the pool felt a bit busy. The pool was 25 metres in length with the shallowest end at about 1 metre and deepest "trench" at 2 metre. Pool itself was very clean and it felt quite new also. I noticed that there was also a leisure puddling pool with a "fountain" in the middle where parents could interact with their toddlers. But it was too busy so I didn't go in that area. The only downside in terms of facility is the fact that they only have one swimsuit dryer on site(at least the one in the unisex changing area was the only one I found). So you had to queue for a bit to use it when it's busy. There is a school right next to the leisure centre so I suspect that the school may send the students there for swimming lessons as well. Otherwise, it would be quite a nice place to visit during the non-peak hours.

The Kensington Leisure Centre has three swimming pools from toddlers to lane swimmers, indoor courts, a gym and large exercise rooms with mats and tools for pilates, yoga and aerobics classes. The changing rooms are large, clean and secure and the staff are helpful and friendly. The instructors are highly trained and there is a good range of classes. There is a luxury spa upstairs and the centre is an excellent asset for the community.

Great facility, very affordable prices. Not much can go wrong here. We ended up sharing some of the space with other people (the gymnasium is divided in slots but some can overlap a bit). Very nice atmosphere and nice staff.

Pool for babies is lovely but it’s important to check opening times. The main pool is ok, but the lanes are very narrow. It’s also always cold out if the pool!!

It's a good facility but with its weaknesses. The Squash court has been out of action for 3 months and not fixed, badminton is never set up and so you lose the first 10 minutes of your hour having to go to reception to ask them to set it up (even though they have your booking and know you're coming). The staff are friendly. Calling up to book a squash/badminton court is a huge task which takes 10-15 minutes. The gym is well equipped and spacious and pool looks good although I've not used it. With better management and organisation, this could be a 4* venue.

The staff are terrific - especially Jeff. The reception staff are on the ball and the manager (Stephen?) is a good guy. The pool could be cleaned more frequently but that's the only fault I can find. These guys seriously pulled it together for Grenfell and they are still doing their bit. So, yay for them.

We had a spa vowcher for 3 hours but they give us just 2 hours acces..in this was included just a sauna, steam and jacuzzi, not the swimming pool as i thought(was for extra 4 pounds); the location is ok, close to a station, staff ok; you need to bring your own towels and slippers as i don t trust that there were clean enough :( The price is not match the quality

New, excellent facilities. As good as you will find in London. Clean changing rooms, a family/learning pool, a toddlers pool, and a training 25m pool. Slightly odd session times on the weekends, so find out how these work online before turning up.

The facilities at the centre are very good in my opinion and generally clean however the customer service leaves much to be desired. My husband and I signed up to their joint membership offered. We were given conflicting information from different members of staff re: what the membership includes and the freezing of membership. Upon signing up we were told one thing but then once signed up we were told something else by someone else and had to sort it out with the managers. Most staff members are very pleasant and helpful but I have found one or two to be rather unpleasant and unfriendly. There is one manager Oliver who has been very helpful in sorting out our issues, the problem is they are issues which I don't think should have arisen in the first place. The policies need to be clear to all involved. So while the facilities are great the customer service needs improvement.

The spa itself is lovely, absolutely 5 stars for the spa. I have, however marked it down to four because of the area it's in.

I recommend a visit if you around the area. If you don't have time to exercise, go for a swim or are interested in the many activities at all... you can just pop for a coffee and snack. Didn't actually visit the leisure centre. This centre stands in the shadow of the Grenfell Tower in South West London. Such a surreal place to visit. The overwhelming feeling of devastation of what happened that frightful night is still apparent. The atmosphere is quite oppressive. Hence the 3 star rating

It is a place where I mostly go swimming and not far from my place near Notting Hill Gate Station as the pools are cold most of the time and they are good as they clean reguraly and they also have a bottom pitch 1 floor under for tennis and other activities. One thing it isn't good at is that they have no lost property place so if you lose something it is pretty much gone forever so don't bring anything valuable with you. Thanks!

I like this place , I started going there as a very young child when it opened in the 70s ! I think it looks like it might be closed down now when I went passed there on Tuesday 20th June 2017 but very probably for refurbishment or upgrade works - I haven't found out. Even though I said it was opened in the 70s , it has has always kept up to date with a clean modern, feel & facilities. It is a very nice, slightly different place but maybe I am based with my fond childhood memories ;-) It is has a sort of circular building feel & from nearby the 2 swimming baths there is a nice mezanine or first floor level sunroof to sunbathe on :) The swimming pools have very nice upper level viewing seating as well, nice for parents to watch their kiddies or those who just want to watch others exercise ! & pleasureable walk through sprays to go in & out of the pool/s. In a very nice area in Kensington / Notting Hill of London too ;-)

I went to the Spa, fabulous treatments by young professionals. Had a great massage with my friend thanks to an offer on Treatwell. The spa is quite small, but they limit the numbers accordingly. We went Sunday morning and there was only 3 other ppl using the facilities. There was a steam room and sauna wbich could each hold 4 ppl. There was also a jacuzzi which could hold 4 ppl.

This is a fantastic new sports facility that has got swimming pool gym rooms for yoga, pilates, and other exercise classes including spinning. You can play squash here badminton basketball indoor sports events are held here. There is a coffee and snack area ,a place where parents can watch their children in the swimming pool. Plus It has a sauna and massage suite.

This is the best gym for me by far I've tried a few but this one beats them all, cleaniness excellent, equipment brilliant and staff very polite and helpful they have a sauna service too where you can get fully pampered as well as a very big swimming pool and one for the children this leisure centre is most definitely family orientated with a functional canteen with sitting area and play area for the little ones.

Only issue I have here is that the Lat Pulldown machine has been out of order for a long time, and that the class in the TRX area would sometimes interfere with my workout. It would be great if they could put a schedule up for when the area is in use.

Recently renovated, excellent quality for money as it is a non commercial organisation. Depending on your preference you can subscribe for the gym, fitness classes, swimming pool, game sports and SPA. There is also a nice and affordable cafe in the building.

A great boon to the area as the Westway gym under the motorway is a bit more expensive to use and isn't that nice inside but they are planning on refurbishing it someday soon I hear. Also the Virgin gym is more expensive on Lancaster road but has more facilities at a price. The KLC as I call it is meant to be a green building, what a laugh as it has its lights on even when there is nobody in the two studio rooms as one cannot operate them from the rooms themselves only at the main desk area apparently; it has no green grass flat roof either for a green building and the lights in the hallways are always on with no trip switch like in CityLit that switches the lights off when there is nobody detected in the hall. The terrible designed spiral staircase is an idiotic move as it is dangerous when there is loads of people using it. The Stannah lifts from Spain are the cheapest on market and break down frequently. The upstairs gym is very pleasant to use and the two studios rooms uptairs have pleasant light from the it panoramic windows and have problematic AC too. Good place to practice yoga and pilates. It has a large swimming pool and two kids pools next to the cafe and a downstairs badmington courts and kids play areas. A good gym to go to and join at a reasonable price.
