C. G.We have really been enjoying going as a family to watch the Man City Women. We love the intimacy of the venue. Water, tea, coffee, soft drinks are free. They're always giving things away. At the end, the players are there doing autographs and letting you take pictures with them. My kids are mad for football and are true blue City supporters.

The Academy was one of the stadiums for the women's Euro's. It holds around 4,000.

R. C.We recently got season tickets to see Man City Women's matches here and have had a fantastic time so far. The stadium is right next to the Velopark metrolink stop, so it's really easy to get to. It's smaller than Etihad, but I consider that a bonus. It means the queues are smaller, the crowds are much less intense and wherever you sit you are close to the pitch.
Match day food is never going to be gourmet dining, but what they do provide is very tasty. I got a classic steak and onion pie recently and it was delicious. They always have pie it seems, but often do a 'special' meal too. One week it was a mini roast dinner, the next it was a chicken burger with all the trimmings. Plus various drinks, crisps and chocolate etc.
Definitely a good place to spend an afternoon.

Food is a bit expensive though .What's wrong with normal pies , chips and burgers? It doesn't have to be fancy. Sweet potatoes wedges and chick pea curry pies?!
Apart from the food it's a good stadium.

C. S.Great stadium, but the ticketing system is ancient, so buy tickets beforehand. Very comfortable stadium and just how modern stadia should be. Excellent night.

J.Great stadium and facilities and also got to see MCFC Ladies beat Liverpool Ladies 1-0 with front row seats at cheap prices.
Free hot drinks and inexpensive snacks and food also a good point and very easily accessible via bus, metrolink, car and on foot.
Will definitely return and highly recommend.

D. K.This is not the main stadium. However it is better than most small clubs. The women and the youth teams play at home here. Take into account the state of the art training centre and this is a very impressive place indeed.

R. W.A very nice ground but getting to the South Stand was a nightmare.
Our tickets were for the South Stand using the North East or North West entrance. As we reached the South West entrance first we showed our tickets and were told we had to go to the other end. On entry through the North West entrance we were directed to the South Stand passing the North East entrance. On reaching the South Stand and enquiring about a programme a Steward directed us back to a stall at the North East entrance where we waited for 30 minutes with no programmes appearing and eventually got one later at the South East Entrance.
The free coffee was appreciated but when will refreshment providers realise that a separate queue is needed for those just having drinks.

n. r.The academy stadium is home to Manchester City Women. Easy to find with parking available at the Etihad which is only a ten minute walk across the road. Be prepared for cold windy conditions! The wind whips around the stadium especially in the away section, open top stands. Plenty of food and drink facilities along with toilets. On a good day they even lay on side stall entertainment for kids (young and old).

H.The Academy Stadium is the home of MCWFC, (Manchester City Women's Football Club), as well as being the venue where the Manchester City EDS (Elite Development Squad) and youth teams play their matches. Out of the four stands there are two dedicated to seating, with the remaining two catering for supporters who prefer to stand. The ground currently has room for 7,000 spectators, and there are accessible toilets, refreshment kiosks and merchandise stalls throughout the stadium. Entrances are wheelchair friendly, and visitors who arrive in a wheelchair can use one of the 66 bays that are spread around the ground. Some games are arranged with unreserved seating, while other games have a designated seating plan.

The home of Manchester City Women who play in the top tier of women's football and players nearly all of whom represent their country at the top level with 7 of the current England squad in the team and 3 Scottish internationals. This is football how it should be, played in a modern stadium with excellent facilities and where hospitality is the price of a cheap mens game ticket and where a season ticket costs less than £70
