A great venue. I have been to a few concerts here, mainly tribute acts. Acoustics and the view of the stage are excellent, much better than the bigger venues. Ticket prices have shot up since lockdown but still represent good value for money. An evenings entertainment for 25 quid and free parking is available

Visited for the first time on Friday night to watch Million Dollar Men. Staff were welcoming and friendly. There was some confusion with seating. We were sat on Row E and directed to our seats. Some other ladies then came and said we were in theirs as they were on Row K. There were 4 rows of portable seats in front hence us thinking we were on the right Row. Member of staff was equally confused so got her Manager who came and sorted the confusion quickly Drink prices at the bar weren't too bad. Enjoyable night

I watched Treasure Island here recently. The place had good parking, helpful staff and we had an amazing view from our seats. I haven't seen a panto since my son was younger, so it was an interesting change. Great performance for kids and adults alike.

My 2nd time at the Middleton arena to witness the white collar boxing events and I had another great night and was well entertained. Some very good fights and a lively atmosphere but the tickets are quite pricey at £20.

Very nice, clean and modern venue. We attend kiddie gymnastic classes at Middeton Arena and truly recommend it for any child 4+ Recreational aproach so kids of all abilities are welcomed here. My girls really enjoy it.

Its convenient for training. Not up to full capacity yet on classes. Not enough choice of classes at the moment. You never know who is actually taking the classes whereas at Heywood they have a full list of instructors who are taking each individual class. Takes forever to get through on the phone but once answered the staff are polite. Nice and clean.

Nice big space, brightly lit, clean and well planned arena. Main toilets situated on the ground floor area as you enter and stairwell to the upper floor. Seating, leaflets and information available in the foyer. Vending machines accept cash or card. Enjoyed several performances here over the years ♕

Great place! Love it! Easy to find, very big and very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice gym and swimming pools the locker rooms are kept well clean and have showers. Lots of car parking spaces free for 3 hours, nice little café can get coffee and other drinks from the vending machines. I've joined the gym here.

It's a really nice lay out of the arena. And so is the interior it's just some of the workers/life guards are not very pleasant and the workers at the till don't really inform you. I also go too the teen gym which is perfectly fine nothing wrong with it.

*Review as an Event Venue* This was one of the best venues I’ve been to for a PCA Show, it was well cared for and well run with good facilities available. I can imagine it’s a great venue for theatre etc too! The seating arrangements in the arena are excellent, with good views from every spot. The stairs are steep, but there’s accessible seating at the lowest level. I’m very tall, so the leg room wasn’t ideal but that’s not unusual when you’re 6ft! Parking around the area is mostly short stay (max three hours) Monday to Saturday, and spots fill up quickly. I’m sure people with local knowledge could recommend other places for longer stays during the week.

I've used both the gym and the swimming pool here and I wasn't all that impressed with either. Last time I used the gym, you couldn't pay in as a guest, but had to have a monthly membership instead. The membership was pretty steep compared to other local gyms, which have much better equipment in my opinion. The pool was a huge disappointment compared to the old one. For a new pool I'd expect it to have diving boards, and an area at least 10ft deep. Instead, it felt like an oversized baby pool. The staff didn't seem very helpful either, and made a mistake at the till. Instead of dealing with the issue so I could leave, they decided to serve every other customer first, and have me wait over half an hour so I could get my refund, which made me late for other engagements. The building it's self is nice enough though, and it's good to see some of the old staff still work there from the old swimming baths. But for what It is, I expected better.

Very good value swim for a large family. Lots of changing areas. Very clean, nice warm smaller pool but the big pool was decidedly chilly! Plenty of parking. Cafe on site, although I haven't visited it.

Attended The Drifters concert , It was very well organized in a very nice place the bar was crowed and long queue probably the organizers need to do better arrangement when have a band like this in the future. Also the place can get more income from the event as a few people gave up going for the drink. A part from that all well.

Not very many sessions for just a swim in the toddler pool, it's always closed for mum and baby classes (my little boy says he's too big for) or school swimming/after school swimming and when there is space its only for an hour slot or so. Otherwise a good centre especially if you're on your own and can use the big pool.

Went to see the Drifters. Brilliant show well worth a visit. Only problem the row we were on up top had restricted view due to a grid thing on top of the barriers. (Ony seats left) Why this couldn't be made from perspex I will never know. We were lucky to get the end of the row so we're able to look through the entrance to the stairs by leaning slightly.

Usually very clean, pools decent size and not too crowded except for key school holiday peaks. Unisex changing rooms with various sizes available. Joint showers and separate showers behind doors. Not too expensive.

I attended the NAC-UK Body Building show on Sunday. I was very impressed with the building and the airy open plan foyer. Nice and light. Very friendly, informative and approachable staff. I was made to feel very welcome I would certainly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

This arena is fantastic. This is the third year we have taken the grandchildren to the pantomime. The sets and costumes are amazing. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Wheelchair bays in pool viewing gallery are too small to turn around in, I managed, but I have the smallest adult chair possible as I'm petite, anyone with larger feet & less mobility than I would struggle dreadfully. Actually to get into the viewing gallery initially was extremely difficult as the doors are very stiff; I couldn't have done it without my daughter's help before she ran off to change then swim with friends & my husband (her father).

I love it , good monthly fees, great new equipment, pools fab , great changing facilities , always spotless, friendly staff very informed and knowledgeable in their field , there’s classes , sports hall and loads more activities , cafe and an auditorium that does shows and entertainment plays , pantos etc . Wonderful place like I said I love it .

Middletons consolation prize for accepting a Tesco in the town centre. It does everything its supposed to do and is clean. Reception staff helpful & friendly. Gym membership expensive compared to local competition.
