Just played this weekend in the Northumberland masters badminton tournament. A great venue, good well light courts and a forgiving floor. Well organised and presented. Thank you to all the organisers and the centre staff. A real pleasure to have played here.

My first visit here having only previously played at sports centres. What a fantastic facility tailor made for badminton. I can't praise the facility enough really enjoyable from start to finish. Excellent playing facilities, even down to not having the lighting directly overhead so as not to dazzle you mid game. Seating for sitting out a session if more than 2 players as well. Can't recommend highly enough. Will be back without doubt

The staff are friendly, the environment and support are great for playing badminton. It's a perfect place to improve on your badminton skills and to enjoy yourself. There's facilities to play table tennis, but I personally prefer badminton. I'm sure table tennis fans would also enjoy themselves in such a calm and clean environment.

It’s a lovely local badminton centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful. One day I was in a rush sending my boy in for a lesson without breakfast. I am desperate for a hot drink. Robin kindly made me a tea for just a pound. My son’s coach Jamie is a nice young lad. He makes the lesson fun and productive. I can see my son’s improvement after two lessons. Plus courts are clean all the time. My husband and I like to book a slot to play as well. If you like badminton, this is the best place you would want.

Not boring, very exciting ! We will be returning to play, fantastic facilities. Maybe some music in the reception as it's quite quiet and could do with more of a vibe.

Although, it was my first experience at any indoor badminton court, the entrance does spark the vibe of a professional badminton court as you may have seen in any video of a tournament (it only applies to the immigrants, as the local people would not find it as appealing as we immigrants would do, just for the sake of accessibility) It has current charges of 17£ per hour and a quid for each racket that you borrow. Every court has 3 nets (as far as I know) thus, you can have multiple matches with multiple friends. The court alloted to me had a minor light issue as only 2 nets were clearly lit and the 3rd one was a bit in dark. Which they may have solved by now. Other than that the receptionist will give you all the necessary information regarding booking with a calm demeanor.

Great centre. Unusual for it to be for badminton. Good playing surface and game lights. Some spectator benches at court ends. Bit cold today though. Probably colder than outside. Has a are doing simple snacks. Reception has rackets and grips etc

Generally have a really good experience here as I play badminton every Saturday, last time I was there however the centre hadn't been opened as the owner was on holiday and the apprentice left in charge had slept in. This was a one off occurrence however and usually every visit is good. Genuinely the best facilities you will find in the north east.

This place is exactly what you need wheather your a beginner or a more experienced player. Perfect good quality courts and friendly staff. Theyve just brought in a £1 charge for racket hire but thats nothing considering the court hire is very fair. Plenty of parking in a good area.
