Booked VR Experience for 2 my son and his friend aged 12 and 11. It was a brilliant experience they had soooi much fun!! Funny to watch as well. The gentleman who was running it was helpful clear in his instructions and ran through everything in detail with them so they knew what they had to do. He was also VERY patient! 😂 Defo recommend for kids... Although my partner and I may book a session as a date night in the near future ❤️😁

Booked the Hero room experience for my sons birthday. We went as a family, so was a mix of young and old, non-gamers and experienced gamers and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Mark explained everything really well and was on hand throughout. I would recommend to everyone, even if you don't generally like computer games as it is definitely an experience and not just button bashing. Great fun!

This was purchased for me as a surprise gift for me and a friend. When we arrived we couldn’t be more excited to give it a go. We walked into a large open room free of obstacles and went through a safety talk. Mark talked us though the games we were playing then popped on our headsets and gave us some warm up games which were great! The experience was amazing and within 10 minutes I felt completely comfortable in walking around the room with the headset on. Mark the owner was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate about his field of work and completely put me at ease which I feel must be included in the review. We will definitely rebook again and try out some more games in the future. Thanks Mark!

What an amazing experience. Never used VR before so we were blown away. Great for all 3 of us. Middle aged, overweight mum, 20 something gym user and game obsessed teen. Was the best time we’ve had together as a family for a long time. Mark was great at explaining how to use the equipment and navigate the games. We will definitely be back. So much fun for all the family.

Just been today 16/07/2022 as a Birthday treat for my 11yr old and 3 of his friends. The venue is small and tucked away but well run by knowledgeable and friendly staff. The kids had a brilliant time and the hour just flew by. It looked like such fun i was jealous and have vowed to book again with kids vs dads next time. Plenty of the games are co operative / team games so everyone can take part and for the more competitive souls there are 2/3v2/3 or everyone for themselves in PVP. Thoroughly recommend a visit and it is great to support a local small business that will have been hit hard during the recent Pandemic.

Cannot recommend this place more!! Absolutely brilliant experience! Took my son for his Birthday and I'll be honest I was dreading it as I'm not very experienced in gaming but I had no need to worry. I was in the area for a day with my son and we really wanted to try this out. It was a Wednesday, and the owners were due to have a day off. However, the opened up a set-up especially for us. We had a great time and the session was definitely the highlight of our day out. Mark was very focused on making sure we had fun and that we got the best out of the experience. We will definitely be back.

I went for a multiplayer session with my son and in his words, it was the best fun he's ever had! He's 9 and it was very accessible to him and the range of games and the instructions and support provided were excellent. Can't recommend enough, we'll be definitely going back to try out the single player experience!

We were looking for an indoor activity on a wet day for my son and his friend (both 12) and found the VR Experience. Mark was really accommodating and spent plenty of time explaining the game play and assisting the boys. They had a lot of fun! Particularly liked the zombies!

Wow. This is one of the best experience I have experienced. Me and my 2 friends visited the Vr experience wales. We love to try and be a bit spontaneous in doing activities and this one was one of the best. I highly recommend to many.. Children' and grown ups too its literally for everyone. This VR was in a local industrial Estate to us. It is located in a food warehouse, which is amazing. We were able to give the kids some drinks and sweets. There is also food from all over the world. When we arrived, it’s was covid conscious and we all sanitised and washed hands. The host Mark was amazing, calm and patient with the girls who were pretty loud and excited. The VR area is fab and the equipment is top of the range. We chose Hero Zone that was suitable for the girls ages but we skipped the zombie game. We played 4 games that were amazing including an 2 arrow games, laser tag and a futuristic game, all of which were explained well by Mark and were fantastic. The 8 girls gave it 10/10 and they are definitely going to ask their parents to remain. This place was brilliant and I recommend it so much. Happy gaming everyone ✌🏻

First time doing any sort of VR, and we found it easy enough to pick up. No previous experience needed. We did the hero zone, where you play 4 different mini games. 3 team games and 1 vs each other. The host was good, he explained everything you needed to know before each game.

This is the second time I've visited VR experience Wales and I would highly recommend it. It's a great local activity to take children (8 or older) but also as a group of adults looking for something different, maybe as a pre night out activity. Hopefully more people become aware of VR experience Wales and the business is able to attract more people as we head into 2023, it would be a shame to lose something so unique.

My 13 year old son and I had a great time at VR Experience Wales and I highly recommend it. It’s based in a small unassuming unit on an industrial estate and seems like a labour of love for Mark who owns it and built the whole thing himself. Due to some minor technical problems on the day, we played the four game 'Hero' package rather than the 'Action' package which worked out as a more enjoyable multi-player experience. Mark kept watch over us during each game, giving us hints and tips and the time flew by. I’ve visited some real high end VR places before in London and Japan and both times I’ve had a bit of motion sickness which I didn't really notice here. Although the graphics here weren’t quite as good, the gameplay was very enjoyable and overall, good value for money. I feel it's important to support small businesses like this - both the other VR places in Cardiff I researched had closed down, I guess due to financial pressures from Covid lockdowns.

Tucked away but cannot fault the place. Friendly, helpful and a great way to experience VR. Took my 8 Yr old nephew and both had a lot of fun. Nephew said 10 stars out of 5 he enjoyed it that much.

Me and my girlfriend booked a session here a short while back and had so much fun that we went and bought a quest 2 after it was over, there's a great selection of games to choose from and you're guided through them smoothly and patiently 10/10 would definitely recommend this place!!

Fancied trying a new twist on an Escape room. Found this really enjoyable. The visual graphics of the giant pyramid and the moving parts within were an amazing experience. Very immersive. Will 100% be booking to try other VR games they have. The owner was very welcoming and a genuinely good guy.

Booked this for my husband and I as we've always wanted to try a VR experience. We were able to swap the game I had originally booked for other games that were available... we were talked through how everything operated and were given clear instructions and advice (especially that this was our first time). Pretty easy to operate once you get the hanh of it. We enjoyed x4 games in total and were there for about a hour and 15min (an hour slot). We both absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. Thankyou 😁

We had a blast. We set up a visit for our sons 13th birthday. We are a family of four aged 9-41, and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We had a full de-briefing which was well delivered. We were guided and assisted throughout the whole process, and helped when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed, laughed and squealed loads. Defo recommended.
