A. R.Saw them play Ashton United. Wasn't a great game (can't be helped). Nice little local ground though, decent bar and decent selection of drinks. £5.00 to get in so can't complain.

I. W.Getting to the ground by the tram well was fun as we followed the path but then couldn't cross the stream. Found our way to the ground. Got two stands with seats but can stand all round the pitch. Club house did a choice of beer although the Boston fans drug them dry

K. J.Non league ground on the outskirts of Nottingham, which is undergoing some major rebuilding. Part of a complex of 3/4 pitches, including the main ground, which has a 3G pitch. Approx 5 minutes from the M1, with plenty of parking. An excellent snack hut, with a good choice of hot food. Plenty of cover, for both standing and seats. Shame the game wasn't great when I visited, but that's the chance you take.

D. W.I went for a friendly, Basford v Forest U23. I am primarily a Forest fan but I live local, it was £7 so I thought it would be good to go see.
The ground is neat and tidy, a couple of small stands with seats but you can also happily stand around the pitch with plenty of space.
The amenities are more than I expected. You can get some normal football foods (burger, chips, etc) and a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks (maybe like 10/15 alcoholic drinks available) which was more than I was expecting and the price was decent too.
I paid maybe 4.50? For a Fanta and Kopperberg which is decent in fairness.
The staff seemed friendly (although not much interaction with them, just turnstiles and bar as expected)
There is ample parking for non league and the tram will take you a 5 min walk away, so locally well connected.
There was a nice half time raffle for charity and the atmosphere was calm but good. A mix of people.
I've lived local for ages and over the years I've seen the club develop their ground and the grounds around it quite quickly so they look to be going places and I really hope so too.
I will definitely return to see them in action for a league game. It was a great evening.
M. W.Great local football ground, professionally run. Good food, drinks and from time to time a really good atmosphere when Basford attacking second half especially with the floodlights on. Quality of football really good, some very good players on view.
