L. M. (. M.We love Skateland Nottingham. The Staff and skaters are very friendly. It's a very welcoming environment and lots of fun. The price is very affordable and reasonable.The only downside for us is that it isn't open in the daytime, we would definitely visit more often if we could attend in the day with my little one being homeschooled etc.
D. C.Great place to visit...a nice set up and surface to skate on. It is very family friendly and the staff are helpful and happy. I take the kids and occasionally go on my own and we always have a good time and enjoy ourselves. Plenty of seating for those that want to spectate and the kids parties always look good there.
Definitely worth a visit
J.Great roller skating venue for Nottingham and much needed for both the local community and surrounding area. We made a day of it, coming from Newark on the train. Short 10 minute walk down castle boulevard and we were there. Stayed all afternoon, time zipped by, great music, relaxed atmosphere, couple of skate games for the children and skate hire quality was good. We will be back and hope to see this venue open for many more years to come! Well done Skateland 🙌🏻
r. t.First time going last night and definitely the last. The place is very small and overcrowded makes it hard to skate we only stayed 15mins, there's no place for beginners to skate so you have the hazards of learners taking you clean out, place looked run down didn't have its own carpark I also had to ask someone where it was, will be continuing to go to rollerworld. On a plus side staff were helpful and wellcoming on the door sadly we won't be returning
T.Lovely place, lovely staff, and a lovely experience! My only problem is the fact that they don't hire inline skates there which makes me have to by my own cause I'm definitely gonna come here alot!

The staff were so friendly and helpful and kept an eye on anyone falling over or who's laces had come undone! They all had a great time. Reasonably priced, not overcrowded and genuinely caring staff. M. B.Love this place. I take my kids regularly to the beginner's sessions so can only comment from that perspective. It's very safe, staff are very responsive to inevitable falls. The surface is good and the hire skates are good quality. It's exceptionally good value for money. The only negative is the parking situation, street parking only and there's not much of it so arrive early.

Skating surface is fast I was told and is smooth concrete to look at. Parking round immediate area is a problem though.
A. F.Had a really good time here with the kids. Not too busy and the staff are really nice. They seem to control the number of people allowed in at anyone time which is great because you can have a good skate on the rink without it being overcrowded. It is fair to say though that the inside temperature of the venue will pretty much replicate what the temperature is outside due to the type of building so dress appropriately. Parking is bit of a pain but not much can be done about that. We'll definitely be going again and I would recommend it. I've only given 4 stars as the place has so much potential, it just needs a bit of investment as it is looking a bit run down.

Every time I've fallen while learning I've had a staff member check on me. There's always staff on the rink which makes me feel safer.
B. S.Absolutely love it here. We come most Sunday mornings, brilliant for beginners and great for all the family. The staff are great friendly and helpful. We only have one criticism the toilets really really need updating, they are dirty a bit smelly, the lights don't work and hard to flush but apart from that time out.
D. H.First time at skateland and it's a great place to be. Very relaxed atmosphere, nice staff taking care of people, lockers for you personal things and good seating area to chill and have a drink. Very reasonably priced to get in and great for all ages and family's too. A little chilly inside but once skating you warm up. Would highly recommend skateland to anyone wanting to start out skating or pick it up again I did Expect a wooden floor but instead it's a highly smooth concrete floor and very nice to skate on. Great to have a skate rink back in Nottingham.
L. C.I love Skateland, it's a very accommodating, easy going environment. You can just sit and hang about chatting or you can join in and all sorts of people go of all ages. Great for families and accessible for single people, plenty of space and helpful staff.

J. W.Went today and was a bit apprehensive about what it would be like but I must say that I was very pleased. Lovely and friendly staff. Not the flashest place in the world but just what you need. A nice rink to rollerskate around in, plenty of seating for people not skating and reasonable prices to boot. My daughter and I had a great time and will hopefully be going back. Great fun for the family.

F.Went to their Sunday session, it's not too busy here on this day so if you want the place to be quieter then it is better on Sunday. They say it is cheaper during the mid week on Wednesday and Thursday but much busier.
The staff are great here, they got some activities going at various times like dodgeball and crab racing. They got the place going with smoke and disco lights towards the end of the session. They were even skating themselves and are very good to watch skate!
It cost £5 entry plus £2 skate hire. They sell reasonably priced drinks on site and locker hire is £1 for 3 hours.
Very lively place and very well run!
T. 1.A nice spot for kids of all ages to skate, with snacks available on-site and R&B music being played most of the evening. We always have a terrific time. The only issue I have with the place is to do with the smokers & vapers situated just outside the front door. If the wind is blowing in the wrong direction then potent smoke will drift into the rink. We need a no smoking & no vaping zone by the door. Other than that, entry is ridiculously cheap so definitely worth a try.

d. c.First time visiting Skateland Nottingham with my 4 year old son. Very friendly welcome and found the team very helpful while I was there. Even my 20 month old loved sitting at a booth watching the skaters with the music and light show. I read reviews about parking and whilst we got parking just outside I suggest leaving a little extra time just in case. We had a great time and will definitely be going back again soon, excellent value for money a a great place for a family day out.

Small cafe /shop on site and reasonably priced drinks and snacks... My favourite sight was one of the stewards skating around with a little girl... Something for everyone... A jewel of a place... Certainly going back again.
t.Amazing place great for any ages. Birthday parties are available +food. They also have skating lessons which are great. The workers there are supportive and friendly and will help you learn to skate.

P. H.Had a great day at skateland with my 5 year old daughter. We can both basic skate forwards and backwards but are improvers. All the staff were extremely helpful above and beyond the call of duty spending time giving us tips and instruction to refine our existing skating and learn more advanced moves. Even spent their time adjusting my own skates (not their hired skates but ones I own) properly to suit my level of skating ability. Very family friendly and not too packed or loud with the background disco music. We did both the 11 till 1 learn to skate session, had lunch locally then the afternoon 1.30 till 5pm disco session. Be great when their cafeteria moves up to hot food. Will be a regular on a Saturday now without a doubt. Can't praise the staff highly enough, it's not often you find such a level of service in today's society. Well done skateland!
