Reviews of Trent Bridge Cricket Ground
A. S.
Having been to the majority of test cricket grounds in England, Trent Bridge certainly is the most welcoming. You do feel closer to the action and the atmosphere is lively but still good natured. Plenty of food and drink stands which cater for a wide range of tastes.
H. F.
Great venue. Atmosphere was outstanding. Extremely welcoming staff and not a bad seat in the house. Prices were ad expected but not too expensive. Good access to the train station and the city centre.
D. S.
This is my favourite cricket ground. I’ve watched many memorable test matches and ODI’s here and simply love the whole experience. Trent Bridge is a beautiful looking ground with great views from many of the stands whether up high or at lower level. Facilities are plentiful even when the ground is at full capacity and the staff are always helpful and courteous. The walk from town along the canal side and over the Trent is pleasant with plenty of pubs and cafe stops along the way. From astounding Ashes tests to record breaking ODI scores and yesterdays phenomenal England victory over New Zealand , Trent Bridge is The place to watch cricket.
G. F.
What a great day, Day Three of the Test England v New Zealand, pity we didn't go on the last day it was free lol, but joking apart great place, well run , Supporters able to access Players, good views all round. Parking approx five minutes walk away from Trentbridge.
J. M.
Super friendly staff in the shop, they could not do enough to make sure my child had their team shirt for their birthday so it could be worn to the game. They were absolutely amazing!
M. P.
Had a great view of play from high up. Bottle service only at the bar here but down a level for full draught beer options. Staff were helpful. Lift option available as well as the stairs. Inside, this stand had the feel of a quiet corporate hotel rather than industrial utilitarian.
N. W.
First visit to this lovely old stadium although most of it is fairly new due to rebuilding. Fantastic viewing from the very friendly Hound Road Upper stand which I would recommend for away supporters. Loads of food and drink outlets all around the ground. Altogether a very pleasant experience due to Hampshire winning a close quarter final T20 game, friendly stewards and home fans.
D. M.
Great cricket ground. Watched some of the England Vs New Zealand match.
We got a bit rained on but it didn't last long. But also got sunburnt.
So if you go to the cricket make sure you take a rain jacket and a bunch of suncream/hat/longsleeve shirt with a collar too so you don't suffer the next day.
You can take bottles and containers in but they have to be plastic! No glass! Bag checkers make sure that there's nothing that's going to cause too much damage around.
There are water refill stations so you can refill what you need to when there.
K. H.
A lovely ground. Last year during the England-India Test I became quite poorly.
The stewards and medical staff were absolutely brilliant not just at looking after me, but at helping my wife as well.
S. C.
Great venue for test cricket, great facilities, good selection of food and drink, suitable for all.
M. P.
There was a beer and cider festival being held, so bought a ticket to enable me to look at the ground. Haven't seen a match there yet, but it certainly looked a good place to watch cricket, maybe next summer ?
A. S.
I love Trent Bridge cricket ground, the atmosphere is fantastic. It's big enough to allow a good sized crowd but small enough to keep a family friendly feel.
The facilities are very good. Food and drink outlets are many and varied and all seem to be good quality.
I have attended as part of an all adult group and as sole adult with a young child and felt equally secure each time.
M. A.
My first visit to the “new” Trent Bridge and throughly enjoyed it. However I was surprised about how windy it was and next time I will definitely take a Jacket!
Good service, well marshalled and all in all a really nice visit.
D. M.
We visited for an England Test match (not our first visit) and weren't disappointed. Even though it was a sell out the entrance queue went through the turnstiles quickly and with a warm welcome from the stewards. We were seated in Hound Road Upper which has a great view of the action. There were many good food outlets, not the cheapest but decent quality. The bar service was a little slow but there was quite a good range of options and at not extortionate prices. On the day we visited England were playing well and the sun was shining both of which helped result in a great atmosphere. This is a great sporting venue that is well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.
P. D.
What a fantastic day at trent bridge. We'll done to Nottingham cc and the ECB for allowing fans in for free to witness a great England win
R. L.
What a great ground to see a test match. Good view of the pitch from any seat. This is now my favourite ground. The Trent Bridge Pub sells the best local beers ( notts brewery ) pay a visit. The test with New Zealand was the best for years !!
C. S.
Excellent venue for return of the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021.
Compact site layout with the cricket pavilion grandstand seating useable and pitch viewable too.
Excellent mains connected toilets and wash sinks at many locations made a welcome addition to the usual portable alternative.
H. B.
Fantastic cricket grounds. Plus we had wonderful weather for the T20.
S. S.
One of my favourite cricket grounds in the country, very entertaining to watch cricket there from all formats (T20, Test matches, One day and 100s)
H. M.
Had the luxury of a Corporate box. Cant tell you how good it was. Food was great, drink was great, cricket not so great if you are a Trent Rocket fan.
Great experience for someone who had not ever been to a cricket match in my entire life
V. K.
Wow, our first visit and it was well organised and it ran like a well oiled machine. If you want to watch professional sport this is a great place to start. Friendly staff, clean facilities, plenty of food and drink choices. Obviously I would highly recommend a visit.
R. H.
Great day at the cricket, good crowd plenty of banter, queues for food &drinks quite long but still a great day.
C. S.
A proper cricket ground that has been sympathetically upgraded in recent years. An irregular shaped but beautifully manicured outfield, separate and varied stands, an historic pavilion and the world renowned Trent Bridge Inn on site. In short one of the greatest places in the world to watch cricket.
P. M.
Good seats plenty of leg room ideal for a fan.
p. f.
Everything you may wish to buy, apart from tickets, is cashless so card only. The food is expensive - £9 for sausage and chips - it's half that price at the chip shop outside facing the back of the radcliffe road stand - and it's nicer. I've tried both this weekend. The new allocated seat policy for t20 matches isn't working for fans in that it is off putting for the casual customer having a night out with pals and they are a large part of the t20 success down the years. I'm not a casual fan, more avid than that but I understand that the day or Friday night out crowd want to move around the stadium, look for their mates and hang out wherever it suits them but the club want to clamp down on that meaning attendances will suffer.
A. W.
Went last nite against Derbyshire, good seats, great game too, its card only tho once inside..
R. W.
Enjoyed the final day of the second test which England won ,which might colour the visit. Entry to trent bridge was speedy and all the stewards were friendly and very helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy, plenty of choice for food and drink.
G. D.
Excellent day out, brilliant venue. Very professional set up, friendly staff, decent food and drink, great stewarding.
I. W.
Fantastic day watching England win. Always love cricket at Trent Bridge. Lovely ground, great atmosphere. Next visit on Friday for 20-20.
M. E.
Easy to get to, manged to book a nearby drive for parking. The security staff were thorough without being overbearing and catering was reasonably priced with lots of choice. About the best cricket ground we've been to.
C. S.
Fox Road stand for an England test match is a great place to be.
J. N.
Had a 2 hour tour around Trent Bridge which was very interesting and informative. Alan, our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic , obviously enjoys his work, made the morning
s. h.
love it here. Great atmosphere and the staff and volunteers are always lovely
K. J.
Excellent cricket ground and currently Excellent cricket you, from Nottinghamshire T20 team and England beating New Zealand . Staff are always friendly and helpful. Good selection of food outlets . Just terrible that ECB say they're not good enough to host a world match next year.
D. A.
Easy to get to from the city. Plenty of pubs on route. Good views from most parts of the stadium. Always good to go back each year.
G. P.
Best ground for test cricket. One of my favourite stadium around the world
V. L.
Small, yet charming stadium. You feel so close to the pitch! Enjoyable experience, even though the match was rain-washed!
P. A.
Its a beautiful ground. We were in Larwood and Volce stand where part of the ground was missing from view, so avoid it if possible. Mobile internet doesn't work in and around stadium. The wifi is only accessible if you have a sky account.
b. w.
Another one of Nottingham's wonderful stadiums. Wonderful match day atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for cricket fans and none fans alike
K. D.
Wierd shape Cricket ground and never saw this type of cricket ground before. Usually cricket grounds are oval or circular shape. Whoever win this ground, must have to change its shape for better cricket games. The field is green and small.
P. J.
Good game new Zealand v England 2nd test match. Lovely ground. Lots of food stands. Smashing atmosphere.
N. T.
One of the best cricket grounds in the world.
Great atmosphere and playing surface, which makes for very positive cricket.
D. D.
Great evening out with the family. A nice ground with good staff and a multi faith room to keep up the prayers.
R. P.
Prime Cricket Ground, on the banks of the river Trent. Plenty of food and drinks concessions on site. The famous Trent Bridge Inn is alongside the ground. Home to Nottinghamshire Cricket Club and a regular Test Match ground.
c. l.
Great venue, well managed, friendly stewards.
m. h.
The ladies cricket on Sunday 29th May was very enjoyable to watch. The top team was Southern Vipers and the bottom team was the lightening who lost the match . It was a lovely day.
S. M.
Brilliant venue. A big thanks to the staff who were all friendly and efficient, making for a great day out. Well done Notts CC
S. L.
Visited twice during the recent test against New Zealand, well run event, safe and friendly atmosphere, making the last day free entry was a master stroke, an unforgettable day, well done the Trent Bridge team
C. L.
Amazing game of cricket at the fantastic Trent Bridge Cricket Ground
A. B.
Great ground with excellent facilities. Everything was clean and the stewards were all really helpful.
Great cricket too
R. L.
What a absolutely amazing day at Trent Bridge, well done for giving away free tickets for day 5, it gives people who ordinarily can't afford to go to sporting events like this with my family a chance of experiencing days out like this.
A. H.
Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff.Well worth a visit, especially to see a T20 match .Plenty of places to eat and drink inside and out of the ground
A. M.
A really great day at Trent Bridge. As a disabled person it was as enjoyable as a normal person. Want to come next year
A. R.
Superb day out! Excellent facilities and brilliant staff. Plus the cricket. Amazing!
c. a.
Fab cricket ground, always a good selection of drinks and food and great views all way round.
I. B.
A magnificent day out.
Great facilities, great cricket, great atmosphere.
Thank you Trent Bridge.
D. L.
Great day out easy to get to by public transport friendly staff. Prices fair for type of venue really enjoyed my day
M. M.
Always very welcoming - a home from home for us. A glorious place to watch Cricket!
M. R.
One of the homes of English Cricket. They do special family cricket days every now and again when you can buy £1 tickets, I think the second May Bank Holiday is one of those. Great fun with the kids, you get to go on the pitch and can do a bit of bat and balling.
When there is a big game on, West Bridgford is transformed, the otherwise very middle class neighbourhood becomes crazy with burger and hot dog stalls in the streets, crowds everywhere and every square inch becomes a 'match day parking zone'.
The swanky bars and restaurants are filled with people and generally there is a good atmosphere in the air.
M. B.
My first experience of Trent Bridge; I thought it an excellent ground - attractive surroundings, good seating and good management.
S. B.
Brilliant, Brilliant and Brilliant lovely ground very well organised great staff thathanks for a great day. Oh and to top it off Root and Pope batted superbly
d. b.
Best cricket ground for watching cricket, shame about the prices and the dead test wicket. I still enjoy being a member.
A. R.
Iconic venue, large private car park, fully disabled accessible, large meeting rooms, interesting views and good food.
Easy to get to and find. Not far from the station. Modern facilities that are well maintained. Clean and tidy.
Plenty of helpful staff.
Suitable for small meetings or large parties.
G. G.
Lovely, helpful stewards. Clean and safe. Pity the kiosk selling hot chocolate etc was a shambles.
D. R.
Great ground to watch some cricket, friendly staff, not too overpriced, great atmosphere
W. L.
A great family atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll worth a visit.
C. D.
One the best sporting venue's in the county great atmosphere and some the most helpful staff going
D. L.
Test Match final day Fabulous.
G. H.
Such a wonderful cricket ground, great food and they do a lovely cup of tea. I visit at every opportunity, the view from the Smith Cooper Stand is unbeatable!
P. R.
Very well run with friendly and helpful stewards Good mix of facilities, a welcoming cricket ground for all forms of cricket.
H. D.
Brilliant entertainment and day at the test match staff etc all well coordinated
B. R.
A great place, lovely people in the food vans and club shop... Watched a great Lancashire win 🌹
F. M.
Lovely staff, and a good variety of food, but huge queues for the more popular items. A first visit for me, and I'll be back - cheap parking was nearby, and the venue was lovely.
s. h.
Always a great venue, fantastic facilties, staff always friendly and welcoming and NUTS is a absolute stat
J. R.
Top draw place for really even test match - developing nicely for a great tense finish
A.
Been there first time during 2019 world cup. Very nice venue!!! Very good PA system and crowd management in place. As a ground its beautiful
A. R.
Very good test match venue friendly good atmosphere good food and beers well worth a visit
Z. a. t. f. P.
Lovely ground with a great view from wherever you sit - small stands close to the boundary ropes. Quaint pavillion and some lovely modern stands. Not much leg room in the cheap seats though. Big screens are very clear. Great facilities for eating and drinking too. Shop is disappointing (if I could I'd deduct half a star for that), there's not much in it, but that's a small quibble. Good value for money for tickets (esp the family tickets) and food too. Clean, modern toilets (better than Lords/The Oval). Staff are friendly and relaxed. Accessible by loads of buses from the town centre but walkable. Would love to come back.
M. W.
Went to see The Hundred..first time watching a cricket match! Enjoyed the atmosphere, great seats, had a good time!
M. “. T.
Lovely warm welcome from a charming young man it was evident that nothing was too much trouble follow by fantastic meal at Six would highly recommend staff were friendly and helpful. We will be returning soon hopefully.
S. M.
Privileged to have seen first day of second test against New Zealand( (just wish it had been last day!). "Oh, Johnny Bairstow...!
P. C.
One of the best cricket grounds there is! Just been to the 2022 second test against New Zealand. And still just as lovely.
S. F.
Favourite ground in the UK! Parking nearby. Good crowd, plenty of food and drink options and staff are friendly. Top service in hospitality too!
M. T.
Great atmosphere at England vNew Zealand a bit pricey but friendly staff more than made up for it
D. B.
Great evening for Trent Rockets game. Good atmosphere and quick food and drink service.
S. B.
Other than historic Lords, by far the best cricket ground in the country - just keeps improving year on year. Loved by the players and fans alike. New season and only improvements to the place. Better stuff available for the kids and more variety in the food and drink department. Shame it wasn't as full as it should have been but times are tough.
g. b.
Great cricketing experience, one of the great grounds. Parking easy, at Notts Forrest on Brian Clough Way, loads of food and drink, quality concessions and clean accessible facilities. All stewards are very helpful and staff in information , shops and security all kind with great customer service. Pub next door is great for pre match drink and theres restaurants and shops outside and a short walk from Notts station
B. L.
Enjoyable day out, not too bad queues, friendly staff and stall operators.
R. M.
This is probably our favourite cricket ground. Great atmosphere for international matches. Have been coming here for years and now being our children who also love it. Recommend the picnic hampers.
M. A.
Went to see England/Pakistan T20 day/night International. The ground has improved immensely since my last visit some years ago. It was a full house and we had no problems with amenities or long queues for food. We had great views. It was a great friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this venue.
M. M.
Brief Info... Trent Bridge staged its first Test in 1899 and is a regular, and popular, fixture on the international circuit. It used to be the shared home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and Notts County Football Club, but when the football and cricket seasons were considered to have become too overlapped (as far back as 1910) the football club moved a couple of hundred yards away to Meadow Lane.
P. P.
Cracking ground to watch cricket ... England test match second day fantastic....
R. V.
Lovely Cricket ground located in a fantastic city. Very kind and helpful people. I enjoyed every moment of the game that I watched in this ground. The ground staff were very polite and found a variety of food and drinks being sold too.
p. c.
One of my favourite Cricket Grounds! Lovely ace with a fantastic atmosphere! The Staff in the ticket office and Match Day stewards are all very friendly polite and professional in their approach!
The ground is also very well situated and there is lots of off street parking within reasonable walking distance of the ground!
S. R.
Not as big as some of the other test grounds, so lacking in atmosphere a bit but nice, access good and smaller capacity means easier to get in and out.
L. F.
Whilst it rained for some of the day and spoilt what would have been a great test match, nothing beats trent bridge for quality and views.
K. H.
Nice ground great atmosphere well worth a visit 👍
M. H.
Went to my first 20/20 match and I absolutely loved it. Great views and scoreboards were clear so you could easily keep up with the action. My only minor issue is it took a while to get served, but with around 13,000 people at the game it's hardly a surprise!!
Great atmosphere, I would definitely go again.
V. D.
Trent Bridge is a cricket ground mostly used for Test, One-day international and County cricketlocated in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, just across the River Trent from the city of Nottingham. Trent Bridge is also the headquarters of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. As well as International cricket and Nottinghamshire's home games, the ground has hosted the Finals Day of the Twenty20 Cup twice. In 2009 the ground was used for the ICC World Twenty20 and hosted the semi-final between South Africa and Pakistan. The site takes its name from the nearby main bridge over the Trent, and is also close to Meadow Lane and the City Ground, the football stadia of Notts County and Nottingham Forest respectively.
C. S.
My favourite ground (I admit bias as I live locally and am now a Notts supporter). The stewards are so friendly and helpful. Facilities are good.
P. S.
Great cricket ground. Big enough to have everything but small enough not to fell miles away from the action. Close to lots of good bars and restaurants. Very easy access by public transport.
D. C.
Was a pleasure to watch England play Pakistan! Gogoair had a box and we had the best service from Chloe. I'm now a cricket fan :D
S. H.
Great day out, great result
G. J.
I didn't actually go to the cricket ground but to the TBI nextdoor for a dart's match
S.
Lovely spot to watch cricket although quite narrow and crowded concourses
j. a.
A great experience the staff could not be more helpful the facilities were great.b
M. R.
Nice offices, great location
S. S.
Great atmosphere for all the fans. Multiple bars for drinks, also a real ale and cider bar ( Though it has a limitrd choice unfortunately )and a large range of food available ( Though it's not cheap, so may be better to bring your own)
M. K.
Great stadium nice and clean and extremely polite workers, very helpful. Loved the match we watched. Also disability facility was good, lift to Upper deck and clean toilets not too far from seats.
F. L.
As with previous visits very good experience. Stewards are welcoming, office staff friendly, food and drink more than adequate
t. h.
Beautifully made cricket ground,an amazing place to watch cricket
R. E.
Great cricket ground with excellent facilities
D. M.
Test match beer was very good. Toilets a bit cramped. Overall good
D. T.
Not as per my expectations. Decorations is good but service and Service is not as per .... I say about The Six restaurant at 6 th floor of stadium main building ......
M. V.
Great day of cricket . Barstow at his best .
K. W.
Nice sporting event enjoyed my day but the result could have been better.
S. D.
Thought the parking would be a nightmare but followed the guidance given and it was perfect, super quick to park, really short walk to the entrance, just make sure you have cash if parking at the Victoria Embankment. Great ground with zero travel issues arriving or leaving which will easily now make it my preference over Lords or Oval to avoid the chaos of trains and tubes. Sat at Radcliffe Road and the seats were fab signage at the ground made it super easy to navigate our way around and find anything we wanted.
L. N.
Visited the Robin Hood Beer Festival. Very good venue for it with lots of covered areas with ventilation. You could take your drinks on to the adjacent stand so plenty of seating. Lots of proper toilets too.
F. C.
The best cricket ground!! Beautiful place full of great memories.
S. K.
This such a great place to watch cricket. It's our favourite ground to watch England. The stewards and other staff are so genuinely friendly and helpful. West Bridgford down the road is great too.
J. B.
Great venue for day at the cricket. Plenty of food and drink on offer and well staffed. Shame the venue can't guarantee a sunny rain free day but hey, they have everything else you could want
L. T.
Great night Wonderful staff very helpful and well organised
M.
Awesome. Had a privilege to watch match between India vs England.
J. H.
It was a rainy day and we saw less than 3 hours of cricket. But the venue is accessible, comfortable and has a good choice of food and drink. Back go more cricket, hopefully, soon.
A. o. a. G. T.
Really great cricket experience of England Vs India Test Match.
Would recommend bring a cushion as the seats are quite hard for sitting in all day.
Plenty of food and drink options available including burgers, fish & chips, chicken, noodles, pizza, vegan and waffles. Did not see anywhere mention gluten free food which is a shame and something that could be improved upon.
A. R.
Shame Jimmy Anderson didn't get the hat trick! Love coming to Trent Bridge. The atmosphere is great. Facilities good & food & drink reasonable prices. Ground and event staff very friendly and welcoming.
G. J.
Great venue steeped in history. Being an established test match venue it has all the amenities that you require during a long day out at the cricket match. Then again I haven't exactly been spoilt at the County Ground at Derby where I normally watch cricket.
t. c.
Had a great time with family and friends at the Notts beer and cider festival always a great day nice to see it at another local iconic venue.
Trent bridge always spotless with plenty to offer indoors and out.
Never disappointed here
C. C.
Great venue to watch cricket with a warm a welcoming atmosphere. Good food stalls around the ground. Parking at the City ground around the corner is swift too.
C.
Good stadium, went to world Cup Game and atmosphere. Facilities was great, good place to watch a Cricket game..
H. A.
Very clean and organised. The crowd either teams was there to enjoy good game. Facilities like toilet n wheelchair accessible was very comfortable n easy. Available food even had halal options. The seating areas (pavillion) also made n maintained well.
P. P.
Fantastic cricket ground ... always great experience......
J. A.
Went to first day of England/India test.
Great fun, well organised as usual.
Only down point was an over-enthusiastic steward, green jacket, male, white, ginger hair who nearly knocked me off my feet piling in to have a word with a lad further down our row over ribald singing of a song about an hour previous.
This despite me saying, hang on, let me leave the row as I was on the end & neither of us were shaped like Kate Moss!
S. M.
I went here to get my COVID booster, and it was administered by a local pharmacy which was using the ground as its vaccination venue.
Directions from the NHS website were not very helpful, as they indicated the Fox Road end, whereas this was in the main building on Radcliffe Road. However, TB staff were very helpful in directing people.
R. E.
Nice ground. Good stewards, friendly. Music far too loud. Floodlights were left on while the sun was shining :/
C. G.
Internationally famous cricket ground. Great venue for the trest matches. They've even started to sell some craft-like ale rather than your standard John Smith's which is welcomed on test match days.
G. B.
Great facilities, efficient staff and reasonable prices.
S. M. S. A.
One of the historic cricket grounds. Can also be rented for net practice...
A. P.
Absolute quintessential English cricket ground. Modern blended perfectly with the traditional. Great views from every part of the ground. Good facilities
M. s.
As members we visit often to watch games. Everywhere kept clean, staff really helpful, good access for wheelchair visitors. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks available, and some hot food, when restaurant open its a good place to eat, once England fully opened in June there will be take away vans serving food and drink too. We'll worth a visit a very good ground with excellent facilities.
S. J.
Totally loved my first experience of Trent Bridge! Went to watch England v India in the 3rd test. Very impressed with the ground. Would definitely recommend people to visit the ground.
K. L.
Great venue with an uninterrupted view of the Test match.
A. M.
Great place to watch cricket.
L. B.
The Hundred was a great experience, fantastic atmosphere, the crowd were electric. This was my visit to Trent Bridge and a cricket game as awhole. Fantastic facilities with great views from any seat. Would definitely recommend 👍
S. S.
The cricket was brilliant and the atmosphere was out of this world
V. P.
Very clean and decent ground. Be extra careful of entry points as there are multiple signals and crossings involved with lots of traffic. Decent stewards ensuring rowdy and racist behaviour is not tolerated and culprits are evicted immediately. Food options could have been slightly better.
D. B.
Amazing atmosphere and staff, always have an amazing day out when me and my family go Trent Bridge 👍🏾. Situated in a good location, just wish there were parking facilities in close proximity for the masses - But this is a problem for all grounds/stadiums so can't complain.
P. G.
Wonderful place for a decent afternoon of cricket..
I. M.
Test cricket, England beat New Zealand. What more can you ask for....?
N. K.
The third oldest cricket ground in the world!
Excellent views from all areas of the ground.
Friendly, helpful staff.
The better Real Ale and Craft Ale is at the Trent Bridge Inn end of the ground.
W. L.
Staff, atmosphere and result all top notch.
S. C.
Lovely ground, pity about the weather, and the poor performance from Notts players.
k. r.
Visiting here is an amazing experience. The ground is well maintained
J. B.
World famous cricket ground. Excellent place to sit and have a pint when the sun’s out even if you’re not that fussed about the cricket. Hosts all forms of the game.
B. O.
Was somewhat non-plussed to see some Stewards walking around without masks while the tannoy was asking the crowd to wear masks when doing so. Otherwise top marks to the cleaners who were doing a fab job, and great view of cricket from every seat. If any play was missed it could be seen on a big screen in action reply.
S. Z.
Beautiful place to watched Cricket World Cup 2019 Pak Vs Eng match there with friends , Sir Vivian Richards was also there , the ICC VIP hospitality was exceptionally good .. Highly recommended. Must place to go for any Cricket lover ..
R. M.
My second home . Love Trent Bridge . Been a Nottinghamshire member for over 40 years . Lovely people friendly staff
W. B.
Smashing evening at the T20. Beautiful ground, great to be back!
C. W.
Good view, excellent staff, nice food and beverage stalls
A. G.
Great cricket and great atmosphere. Long queues for beers and toilets (facts connected!) 😂
J. M.
Was a 3 day recruitment drive. Place was airy, clean, warm and great view. Food was excellent and plentiful. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely use again for meetings etc
A. M.
Great atmosphere, good cricket and well priced tickets. Would thoroughly recommend for the T20 blast series or the Test match if you can get tickets !
P. D.
Lovely ground. Friendly helpful ground staff
J. G.
Atmosphere not quite as good as at Edgbaston but great ground with good parking within a short walk. Make sure you book your parking in advance though! £10 for the day on match days.
H. T.
Easily accessible ground with friendly staff. No long queues to get in and good views all round. Enough food and drink stalls to keep you busy but space to walk around isn't as much as Lord's, The Oval, Old Trafford, Edgbaston or Sophia Gardens. That said it's enough to stretch the limbs out at lunch or tea during the test match. Close to the river and 20 min scenic walk from the train station. Highly recommended a visit to watch Notts or England.
T. S.
Lovely ground, a mix of ancient and modern. Better food options than at Edgbaston, although the selection of real ales could have been more varied and plentiful.
T. O.
One of my favourite places. Notts and England don’t always win. But it’s always a great place to be. Upper hounds row on the members side is the very best view imho. The beer is best from the Larwood and Voce hatch, and the cheese toasties are highly recommended. The free WiFi sucks so don’t rely on it. For some unknown reason the club shop is closed, but there are outlets that sell limited stock around the ground. On test days the barmy army have a stall in the larwood and voce car park.
I’ve been to every test match here since 2003 and seen some amazing things.
If you can do the tour it’s even better now with the new media stand.
D. P.
Great cricket ground. Great viewing, excellent pitches, competitive but friendly atmosphere. My favourite.
K. M.
Everything is excellent, the hospitality of all of the staff is first class the same for the establishment 👍👍💚💛

M. R.
Great venue. Amazing staff. T20.
S. K. M.
Great helpful staff, always a pleasure to visit the ground
J. P.
Very easy to get to and a great view from my seat. As ever with these types of venues the food and drink is well overpriced
S. W.
Gald that cricket is back, always enjoyed the visit to the cricket club, ticket office very good and friendly, hope to be back in the future, 4 days of competitive cricket, and we where very lucky that the weather has been perfect.
T. H.
A jolly good game of cricket 🏏
P. S.
Great place to watch cricket 🏏 and have a meal and drink
A. B.
A very special place to our family. Worked here, played here, laid to rest here. Always enjoy watching the outlaws or the rockets. Great views from any stand and good family atmosphere.
M. B.
A fantastic day at the Test. I love Trent Bridge.
R. C.
One of the better venues for your covid booster - I understand they sometimes play cricket here too.
A. S.
Venue for this week's beer festival. Excellent venue for the event, very busy but plenty of space, as one of the stands is open to provide seating.
D. C.
Fantastic venue for a business event.
R. “.
Home of the notts outlaws cricket team and we're magical games are played if you've never been to a T20 your missing out massively. Such a brilliant place
G. F.
Four 20/20 games in 8 days. Today was awesome best game ever. Great time was had by all. X Nuts the mascot took all in his strid. 😁
T. S.
Kinda experience love being there
N. A.
Have been going to TBI for years. They now have a new meal we enjoy.
T. D.
The Hundred game, very entertaining. Sunday, so street parking was free. Ok food options inside, McD's, Domino's & take away immediately outside. Friendly ground.
S. m. t. N.
Electric atmosphere, good crowd , beautiful ground , looked marvellous under lights
J. S.
Great cricket stadium. Superb experience.
M. D.
The first cricket match I have attended, A bit rowdy, but perhaps that was just where we sat.
I believe there is an alcohol free section but the seats didn't look as good a position.

England vs NewZealand

Lovely Victoria Embankment, Trent Bridge. Good place to park. Quick walk over the bridge to Nottingham Trent Bridge, plus football stadiums. 10/15 min walk
B. H.
Very nice food with very friendly service. Couldn't ask for more.
K. G.
Spectacular world class venue to watch 1st class cricket. Excellent modern facilities
H. I.
One of the best cricket grounds in the UK for watching either domestic or international cricket, staff are always welcoming and friendly, accessibility is good and the cricket usually spectacular 🏏
R. A.
Decent ground! Free Street parking is about 15 min walk away so bare that in mind and allow time.
C. M.
Marvelous corporate venue. Enjoyed CAMRA Beer Festival.
G. H.
Went to the shop to change some clothing, the staff were absolutely delightful in every way.
N. J.
Great day out in the sunshine for a County game. No alcohol free beer on sale, no ice cream either! One very officious Steward but everything good apart from that....
C. C.
Visited for the beer festival. Thought the venue was too small and crowded. Good toilet facilities but could have been laid out better.
N. J.
Fantastic cricket ground! Nice seating area and very iconic indeed. Nice walk from Nottingham Station and the City Center areas.
S. B.
I worked here for few hours, engineers very helpful, great history to the place 👏
k. v.
Great experience and good facilities
M. S.
Arup’s team provided mechanical and electrical engineering and specialist lighting design for a new stand, office building and permanent floodlighting in collaboration with Maber Architects. The construction was completed within a tight closed-season schedule.
New stand
The new stand on the Bridgford Road side of the ground, and addition of seats elsewhere, increased the ground’s capacity from 15,358 to more than 17,000.
New facilities also include an office block for officials and staff and a new replay screen area.
Arup provided the design of the mechanical and electrical services, including upgrading the electrical infrastructure. The firm’s experts also assisted Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club with acoustic and modelling for the stand, and communications advice for the replay screen.
Permanent floodlighting
Arup’s lighting designers were appointed to design permanent floodlighting. Six floodlights were designed, and detailed analysis of lighting pollution to surrounding residential areas carried out. This helped achieve a successful planning application for the ground developments. Works were successfully completed during the period following the 2008 cricket season, ready for an international test match the following summer.
The expanded Trent Bridge provides world-leading facilities for cricket players and spectators, and one of the best facilities in the world for allowing twenty20 cricket to be played outside of daylight hours.
M. P.
A great venue, well organised
J. A.
Fabulous cricket ground
M. l.
Good food and a good service at very reasonable prices.
g. k.
Was there for the CWC19, watched 2 matches. A wonderful stadium that comes alive during a match 👌 very easy to get to by public transport.
I. R.
Best cricket ground in the UK. Great stewards, no litter, competent bar staff, small queues.. I love visiting...
J. M.
Lovely ground, great atmosphere. Let down by the ridiculous queueing for drinks. I missed 10 overs queueing for two drinks at a T20. Never any issue at Lord's or the Oval.
A. B.
A fantastic ground with good access. Good local parking.
R. A.
Great day and weather. Only started raining after we left. Food and drinks bit pricey but popped out of ground for a few cheeky ones in weatherspoons next door.
M. T.
One of the top cricket grounds in the country.
E. J.
Great game of cricket and great atmosphere
C. C.
Despite the match being abandoned due to rain we had a cracking time at Trent Bridge. Lovely ground, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere when the match was on.
N. s.
England won by 5 wickets.
A. W.
Watched a few cricket matches here which are really good. Also went to the beer festival which worked well In this setting
C. U. (.
Small ground but lovely atmosphere. Great staff and arrangement.
B. L.
Very friendly staff, loads of eating and drinking options
w. c.
First visit to this historic cricket ground since I was a child. Took my family of 2 kids, aged 7 and 12 and my wife to our T20 baptism... It was great!! Staff at the ground were friendly and courteous and there were plenty of activities and entertainment for the kids before and after the match.. It was a great evening. Thank you to the staff and the team at Trent Bridge.
K. K.
Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is a cricket ground mostly used for Test, One-Day International and county cricket located in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, just across the River Trent from the city of Nottingham. Trent Bridge is also the headquarters of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. As well as international cricket and Nottinghamshire's home games, the ground has hosted the Finals Day of the Twenty20 Cup twice and will host the final of the One-Day Cup between 2020 and 2024.
In 2009, the ground was used for the ICC World Twenty20 and hosted the semi-final between South Africa and Pakistan. The site takes its name from the nearby main bridge over the Trent and it is also close to Meadow Lane and the City Ground, the football stadiums of Notts County and Nottingham Forest.
Trent Bridge was first used as a cricket ground in the 1830s. The first recorded cricket match was held on an area of ground behind the Trent Bridge Inn in 1838.[2] Trent Bridge hosted its first Test match in 1899, with England playing against Australia.
The ground was first opened in 1841 by William Clarke, husband of the proprietress of the Trent Bridge Inn[2] and himself Captain of the All England Cricket Team. He was commemorated in 1990 by the opening of the new William Clarke Stand which incorporates the Rushcliffe Suite. The West Park Sports Ground in West Bridgford was the private ground of Sir Julien Cahn, a furniture millionaire, who often played host to touring national sides.
In 1950, an electronically-operated scoreboard was installed at this venue, then the world's largest at any cricket stadium.
P. B.
Had the most incredible day The atmosphere and the cricket were superb Pity the Rockets lost both matches
S. P.
Very enjoyable day of cricket, be prepared to have your pants pulled down if you buy any drinks. Not sure on the food prices.
W. W.
Great atmosphere at Cricket games, helpful and kind staff members and of course great views watching a brilliant cricket team!
R. M.
A great cricket stadium. One that certainly preserves a lot of the old-world charm. Since the stands are not very large, you feel quite close to the action. However, the drainage facilities in the ground are a huge letdown and the ground staff also do not seem to be adequately staffed or equipped to ensure delays due to wet outfield can be minimized.
K. N.
I received a very warm welcome into the ground. There are plenty of facilities, including bars, food outlets, shops and toilets. I enjoyed a generous portion of fish and chips which came with a slice of lemon and a choice of condiments. The seating is fairly comfortable, however, I wish I had one of those cushions I saw some people with! Everywhere was very clean. Staff clearly love working there. The bonus of course was seeing Nottingham Outlaws comprehensively winning.
G. M.
Cracking stadium for great matches, always guaranteed a few international games!!!
S. D.
Watching the outlaws in the sun, definetly not shorts weather
S. B.
Lovely venue.
A. S. T.
Really nice stadium nobody was in front of me in row B good view also got signature by Andre Russel aswell good stadium
p. g.
First time at the Cricket Ground for Booster jab staff awesome would recommend this venue
A. G.
Fantastic venue for watching cricket one day international and 20 20 games. Staff was very helpful. Lots of parking within 5 minutes walk. Easy access via buses and the tram. Bars to get alcohol, soft drinks and hot beverage around the ground.
L. M.
Great cricket ground! We visited for a T20 match so there was a great atmosphere. We had an excellent view of the action too. There's a Wetherspoons right next door too! We shall return! Definitely worth a visit if you like cricket.
B.
Nice ground, compact and easy to get to on public transport
H. U.
Had my booster jab today. Brilliant service from everyone there well organised from the entrance gate to finish.
P. G.
Thought the place was beautiful old ground with all the modern facilities. I sat in the Cooper Smith stand it was spot on well worth the day
I. W.
Lovely cricket ground. Our favourite in the uk. Parking only walking distance away.
D.
A first class cricket ground which stages test, one day and county cricket matches. Good views all around the stadium. The seats I have sat in have plenty of room for your legs and storing a picnic basket under the seat. A great place to watch cricket.
P. L.
Great seating all round the ground. Lots of people to give you help. Lifts to all floors and big enough for any disabled visitor. You could get most types of food and drink from the many outlets that were all around the ground, but you could also take your own if you wanted to(with the exception of alcohol). Best of all, England won.
S. Z.
I went to watch pak vs west indies .the ground was nice and brilliant. I had enjoyed every bit of game
D. D.
Great seat great atmosphere. Shame Trent Lost.
W. P.
Best Cricket Ground in England! Just need to scrap the 100 so can get 50/50 back rather than the out grounds.
t. h.
Loved it
R. F.
Very well run during COVID restrictions. Staff very helpful during booking of tickets. Refunds speedily and automatically made on rain affected days. First class service.
N. T.
Lovely stadium and staff.
Nice and clean.
Great white beer and food.
Plenty of stalls and toilets.
Crowd well behaved.
Ideal to bring kids.
Most areas have good view of pitch. but the high up stand we couldn't see the near rope boundary or the fielder there. So miss seeing catch or six or four.
Overall lovely day even tho England lost.
Well played Trent Bridge
P. B.
Get to see some great cricket here
J. L.
Best cricket ground in the country
D. F.
Only just been converted to cricket and love it . The ground is great and the facilities are pretty good too . Dotty xx
B. T.
The cricket ground is well maintained, a bit old fashioned, but really nice. The place is easily reachable by car, plenty of parking space nearby. It's in a small town with lots of local shops, so a good family day out after watching cricket, can go to shopping or even a nice cuppa coffee
D. L.
Excellent venue for the sport, easy to get in though parking is a bind and we came in by train and walked from the station. Excellent team directing match goers from the station and its a short walk. Easy to get in on match day, and were able to get drinks quick enough when we wanted without missing too much action. Food and toilets were a bit more of a problem but it was at the break and ever man and his dog was trying to do the same thing :)
R. K.
Went to watch The Hundred, it was a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend going to watch a match.
G. D.
To be fair the current upgrade asks for a review if you drive past a place. Which is what I did. At 23.45 on damp Wednesday evening the ground was very dark and closed. To be expected. But with the cricket world cup about to start I hope show is amazing. It is a great venue in a city I love.
T. D.
Want to watch cricket ? Trent Bridge is the place to go. A lovely environment to watch the game. Regular development through the years, whilst maintaining the look and feel of a cricket ground, unlike other'stadiums' elsewhere. Friendly staff. Good and varied catering. What's not to like ? Always our first choice.
K. P.
Great ground and staff were so pleasant. Recommend it if you like watching cricket
J. W.
Went to the beer festival, it was an OK experience, not as good as last time, the beers are far too overpriced and are very strong, I won't be going to the next festival because of this bad experience.
V. B.
Went to watch the Ind Vs West Indies, Great game and such a laugh, not to sure of the date but i loved being able to have a beer in the stands, staff were great!!! Very easy to get too! and some really nice bars and pubs around the ground. Prices where pretty high inside the complex but there was some great choice of food when the games were on! (July 2013 Visited)
A. D.
Top venue, great atmosphere.
b. S.
My favourite cricket ground on the planet
I. M.
Nice stadium. Came with the kids to family day - one day cup match to watch, with plenty of side entertainment (bouncy castle, face painting, air hockey, dancing among other things). As a bonus got to go on the outfield in the interval! Easy to reach on public transport. There were several food vans, which were a bit overpriced but otherwise seemed ok (we took a picnic) and the bars looked to be doing a good trade.
T.
Really nice evening out to watch the T20, lots of stuff going on around the ground for kids and adults such as stall cricket games for kids and different foods and drinks for the adults.
Great view wherever you sit, and big screens help too. Fire works and flame throwers too. Deffs worth a visit, kids will love it. Fun atmosphere with home and away fans mingling.
Beers will be top end price wise!
G. R.
It's cricket....what's not to love! One day Royal London cup between Durham and Glamorgan. Great day, great picnic, great company.
S. K.
A brilliant Cricket ground. On 20th June, 2019 I was there to see a World Cup match between Australia and Bangladesh. I was sitting near the boundary line and the field look were awesome. ICC organised facilities so well that I did not have any problem throughout the duration (8 hrs) of match. We had access to free WiFi throughout the game. The weather was excellent and that helped me to capture fantastic photos. All in all, this was a great experience. I watched a game which saw the most number of runs in the tournament so far. 700 runs, two centuries and a great game of cricket on English soil - now that's a day to remember.
P. R.
One of my favourite grounds
T. S.
Wonderful cricket venue. Easy to get to from the train and loads of decent food vendors.
h. d.
Always a friendly welcome here. A ground thats well worth a visit to those cricket enthusiasts.
P. P.
Always a great night of T20 cricket
G. P.
Atmosphere was amazing! The staff and volunteers were very helpful in guiding you around the stadium!
I. S.
At quarter capacity, crowd was spread out but lively. Alcohol in no alcohol stand. Big queues for loos and food stall in the break.
A. F.
L. H.
absolutely brilliant beer festival had a fantastic time can't wait for the next one at trent Bridge
R. J. B.
Visited 2 cricket matches here. The positive is the 'small' stadium and the amazing vibe the crowd creates . BIG negative are some of the 'guards' who are just absolutely horrible people. They refuse to let you sit in a stand with a better view even if it is half empty and I don't even mean 'the best seats in the house' kind of stand. Just the regular ones.
J. B.
Love matches here. Looking forward to matches v Pakistan next year but can't c me paying to watch any Ireland games. Ireland r yet to reach top flight. They have good days but also some dreadful for price of tickets I only want to c best.
P. T.
One of my favourite grounds
C. H.
Great wedding fair hosted here, decent size and wide range of stalls. Great stuff!
j. p.
Great stadium, good prices (all cashless), parking next door to the stadium.
All in all a wonderful day out for the family
A. H.
What a day. There's only one Jonny Bairstow
V. H.
Beautiful historical playground. Excellent parking around stadium and good restaurants in the vicinity. Gets 4 stars as there no facility for rehydration for players such as a water fountain near the net practice areas such as Sobers hall and elsewhere. Water should be free and easily available !
A. P.
It was the Nottingham beer festival so MUCH better than a cricket day
N. S.
One of the finest cricket grounds in the world, a blend of traditional and new viwing stands offering great spectator facilities. The catering and bars are plentiful offering a selection of different cuisines. A great place to spend the day.
G. R.
If you like cricket then you will love it here ! Fantastic day or night out. Great views all round friendly stewards plenty places to eat and get drink from. Plus see some of the best cricket anywhere !
R. H. C. C.
Love this place. View from Upper Hound Road is great. My favourite cricket ground!
C. C.
Visited Trent Bridge Cricket Ground for one of the Cricket World Cup 2019 games and the venue was stunning. All the staff and volunteers were helpful, a good amount of choices for food. Only downside is that the Bridgeford Road stand is very steep and has no handrails which for my 84 year old grandad he found it difficult to reach the top, where our seats were allocated.
S. A. B.
Fantastic venue for watching county cricket one day international and 20 20 games. Lots of parking within 5 minutes walk. There are regular buses to the tram and train station. Bars to get alcohol soft drinks and hot beverage around the ground. There are lots of stalls to get hot food. Or you can walk down to McDonald's get a pizza delivered to the gate or get a sandwich from the co-op over the road. Book in advance to ensure that you get the best deal on your tickets. Does drop cold later on in the day so don't forget your top or hoodie.
D. W.
Beautiful eclectic mix of architecture around the ground. The staff are friendly and the prices are just this side of ok. Was there for the first day of the season for the game against Yorkshire and things just didn't seem totally ready. None of the card machines were working and half the bars were closed.
B. A.
A good space. Great atmosphere. All gates were well monitored to stop disruption of the game.
D. S. D.
A brilliant Cricket ground. On 20th June, 2019 I was there to see a World Cup match between Australia and Bangladesh. I was sitting near the boundary line and the field look were awesome. T. W.
Great time at the Nottingham Beer & Wine festival - thankfully no cricket!!
W. B.
Lovly stadium but just passing.
N. T. W.
Not really into cricket but went for a mates birthday and have to say, I really enjoyed it. Nice kept ground that's easily accessible. Expensive to buy things within but expected.
J. A.
Best cricket ground in the country. Views are great from every stand. Easy access. Reasonable parking on Victoria Embankment re price and closeness to the ground and whilst things aren't cheap they certainly aren't the rip off prices you get at Lord's etc. Things are definitely crowded and they do feel so for popular Nott's T20 games but for all other capacity events they are extremely well run and the staff are friendly and add to your experience rather than the jumped up mini Hitler's I've encountered elsewhere. My only complaint would be that along with Edgebaston and Headingley they are no longer test venues for every visiting international side, and whilst I understand that the ECB want to introduce cricket to a wider audience I'm not sure it works.
O. D.
Went for ind Vs eng 1st test day 5
(Was a full.washout)
However half an hour before official announcement of end of play
We were all meant to stand in rain and to move from the stand for cricketing and press egos
A. G. T.
Is not that bad been my first time. never watched cricket before that was my first time.
It a nice place to be. Good staff ready to help you lovely people
P. S.
1st time at cricket went to 100 brilliant night great food lovely atmosphere
m. m.
Friendliest, most welcoming test match ground there is - by far!! Lovely staff and volunteers can't do enough for you. Always a great atmosphere and the sun always shines - well sometimes anyway....!
P. O.
Friendlier & unaggressive staff and stewards than some grounds e.g Headingley or Old Trafford.Ciuld do with a wider range of drinks.
p. s.
Beautiful ground for watching cricket with some of the best plae ale I have ever had at a cricket ground
I. S.
Eng VS Pak. Brilliant match. Great for England not giving up. Would expect more and better catering facilities for a works class cricket match your in. works cup. Food was excellent though from what people told me
T.
Enjoyed watching t20 match against Yorkshire. Great facilities for kids including petting zoo, balloon sculpturist, table tennis, face painting and autographs from the players at the end. Our 5 and 7 year olds were even enthralled by the cricket which went down to the final ball.
I. V.
Great cricket ground
n.
It's the cricket ain't it? Easy to get in, no troubles leaving if needs be. Hotdog was sublime. Fair play notts
G. S.
This is an amazing world class cricket venue. Staff are friendly, the views are great, the games amazing! Well maintained and in some aspects quite modern. Worth a visit and if new try the T-20 after work.
H. J.
TB is a nice ground. First time I've been here. It's smaller than that of some of the London based grounds, but still a nice outfield. Parking is available nearby, @~£10 all day, and I think there are quite a few places around, too.
M. B.
My ten year old was invited as part of our local cricket club to play quick cricket before the 20/20 game. We all really enjoyed the afternoon and the match. Watching Alex Hales score 94 in 40 balls was amazing. Both my kids are desperate to go again
S. G.
It one of the best grounds in the country to watch a game of cricket.
B. M.
A fantastic test ground.
P. D.
Fantastic venue, always a pleasure to watch test cricket there.
J. C.
Great place to watch cricket. So many friendly people too. Will be back one day.
x.
Great ground, good amenities. Friendly staff
P. S.
Great experience watching England beat Pakistan in the 4th ODI in 2019. Good view and replays on the large screen. Food choice a bit limited and pricey, plus the queues are terrible at intervals - make sure you bring a packed lunch and flask :)
A. H.
First class facilities. Enjoyed seeing England beat Australia in the Ashes whilst enjoying corporate hospitality. A brilliant day enjoying a slick and professional set-up.
I have also attended a seminar here separately and again thought how professional it was. Parking can be a little troublesome though.
K.
Great venue for cricket, good atmosphere, excellent facilities, good transport links.
J. R.
Nice stadium but poor food outlets. No idea of catering for the needs of the spectators. Appreciate ICC gave out the contracts but still poor. Atleast this was better than the village ground in Bristol. Ridiculous that this could be chosen for an international WC match. They didn't even have a tractor with a boundary rope to help with the drying of the outfield.
A.
Nice people but only went here for jab lol
A. P.
Great day at the test. Excellent food ranges and good service from staff. Try the Toasty Cheese stall.
D. R.
Thu 06/06/1910:30am BST (10:30am)
Australia v West Indies.
AUSTRALIA WON BY 15 RUNS❗
This place is amazing huge, I'm in a wheelchair so the space for me was at the front (I thought here we go not going to be able to see anything)
I WAS DEAD WRONG❗❗
The barriers where bellow eye level i had a clear view of the wicket.
The stewards were superb couldn't be more helpful always checking up making sure everything was OK
What a fantastic day out 😎
P. G.
Tesla's New Store only open about a week so still got teething problems how ever I can not praise the staff enough I had an issue that 2 other stores couldn't sort out. Nottingham store sorted it right away recommendation use them if possible
R. M.
Brilliant test venue.
I'm from Barnsley, not overly familiar with Nottingham but was very impressed by how easy it was to have a great time. From free all day parking and £2 return tram journey for event visitors( keep your match ticket) , to helpful attendants outside the ground. Great atmosphere inside , good food options, live band playing on top of a mobile bar. Having driven, I went for the cheaper family/no alcohol stand. I prefer this kind of atmosphere anyway. I got sat to nice chap from Wembley, he was cheering for India, it all adds to the unique feel of test match cricket, I witnessed a Joss Buttler 💯. England lost, entertaining day of cricket non the less. Well done Nottingham.
D. H.
Great intimate ground, atmosphere was great. Terrible seats, very uncomfortable for long periods!!
S. W.
Fantastic day watching an ICC World Cup game. Stewards were great, lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble 😊 Would definitely watch another international here as soo much nicer than other grounds I've been too 🏏
s. m.
Great atmosphere. First professional game of cricket. Plenty of choice at many bars.
Variety of food on sale, can also bring own food in. Clean, modern stadium.
P. B.
I'm a season ticket member I've been coming here for 10 years its magic when the suns out even if you dont like cricket and you can have a night out watching t20 it's all exciting good family atmosphere all you can eat and drink kids love it pity we couldn't go this year cos of covid but let's all of us come next year you'll love it old or young.
C. L. (.
I've been coming here for 12 years. They knocked down my favourite stand and built a new one which gets very cold in the shade.
C. C.
The very worst beer / lager ever served. Too expensive as always but really?
Best taste a sponsor products before agreement on a deal.
We make good beer in the UK and the Cup is held in UK but we don't like ourselves any more. Cheers
S. L.
Nice ground, shame about the beer
J. F.
Great day at the test match
c. b.
1st time at a 20/20 - loved it. Great for families loads of action - fast and furious..!
11,700 attended on our night - great family atmosphere. Highly recommended.. Easy access to drinks and food - a bit pricy but to be expected.
S. B.
Nice place.. sometimes I like to have breakfast.. eggs Benedict, normally the poached eggs are spot on.. but today they were hard.. I was hungry so ate them. Unlimited coffee/tea the price is so cheap food standards are good . You can feed a family of 4 for 13.95. Well worth a visit..
R. L.
Went to a Hundred match. Well organised, good view. Queues for food and drink not too bad. 👍
B. L.
Best cricket ground in UK
S. C.
OK great atmosphere but ran out of real ale after only a pint. Very poor managing if Trent Bridge cannot actually work out an average of beer consumed in a day.... Had to have a very ordinary ipa. Food was not cheap either.
P. m.
Excellent ground. First game i have been to. Sat in the WilliamClarke stand which is alcohol free but if you wanted a drink the bars are just behind the stand. Stewards were very helpful and friendly. I think I was spoilt by a world record from England.
d. s.
Comfy padded seats at the home of cricket! Uninterrupted view, enough leg room
B. S.
I work here and find both the atmosphere here both when quiet and alive special. There is a unique experience of both fun and no nonsense. Trent Bridge prides itself in the quality of the stewards and lovely staff and, the high level of safety and security for all.
F. H.
Great atmosphere but can't say the same for the food from the stands (the burger bar).
R. M.
My first visit to the ground courtesy of Barclays Rewards. We would not have gone but for this. It proved to be enjoyable evening. The back stage team made it a memorable occasion with pyrotechnics, video and music. Great atmosphere and no intimidating behavior. Felt totally safe. Would go again. Thank you Barclays. A Sorry band of ‘outlaws’ though!!!
R. C.
Great place to watch test match and one day cricket,. Fantastic atmosphere and well located to the train station and bars so you can celebrate England victories long into the night
n. C.
Beautiful ground with nice atmosphere all around enjoined every moment of it....
R. G.
A great cricket ground with good facilities.
Covid precautions in place but not interfering
A. J.
Friendly and helpful staff! Food and drinks were over priced but that was to be expected as it was the Cricket World Cup so I can't mark it down for that! Very clean facilities.. Toilets very much up to scratch!
s. H.
Wonderful setting that is a must to visit. Manages to combine modern requirements whilst maintaining traditional features. Simply the best cricket ground in the country
J. S.
Notts better change my mind

Always a warm welcome at Trent Bridge. My favourite cricket ground but docked a star today because we saw two and a bit overs, the rain started, the covers came on and at half past four we were informed that the match had been abandoned. Still, it was a day out with the chaps.

First time at the grounds. Great atmosphere. Can't wait until another hkme game for the @TrentRockets

Lovely ground that's easy to access and retains a lot of its charm that some of the big grounds have lost. It's also pretty good value for beers when you're here which makes a nice change for test match grounds.

One of my favourite cricket grounds. The place just oozes with history. Brilliant stands with good views allround.
Only downside is the beers are sponsors only it would be great to see local Notts beers in the bars.

Lovely place for a wedding xx

As Christmas parties go, this one was good. The food was lovely and with extras ledt over ww had chance to sample the other dishes. Bar staff and waiting staff were very professional and very helpful. The view of the cricket pitch was also awsome. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place for cricket but not a beer festival.

We have had a lovely day today at the cricket at Trent Bridge. My husband and son normally go together but this time my daughter in law and I joined them.. From when we arrived at the members car park to entering the ground the staff were brilliant and very friendly... The weather got better and better as the day went on....My husband fetched teas and coffees from one of the drinks stands. Sorry to say the staff that were serving there were very abrupt with no manners... It doesn't cost anything to be polite!! .. Anyway he didn't say anything and we continued to enjoy our smashing day at the cricket.. Thank you to all of the hard working friendly staff. R M.

Had a fantastic day and now a converted cricket fan loved it just loved it, friendly people staff helpful prices while there bit steep for food drinks etc but we all enjoyed the day and can't wait for next time.

PA system was dire. No one could hear a word spoken all night. Bars had inadequate staff on and only two staff serving 100 people in a queue.

great view, great staff, beer/lager was awful. went for a cricket game and there was a pathetic choice. i.m paying £5-6 a pint at least get a nice brand.
C. N.
Probably the best cricket ground in the country. Great view and very friendly staff. I come most years and thoroughly enjoy the Test matches.
S. N.
Mainly modern, clean facilities blended with some traditional features. Good choice of seating. Friendly environment. Possibly the best value first class cricket ground in England

It's a small tight knit stadium. The staff are friendly but professional and allowed a great game to proceed. however the security is not the best as they allowed someone to run across the field.
F. M.
Sat in members enclosure full days cricket until 1900 good service every where

Great old cricket ground mixing some traditional character with newer facilities.
K. P.
Great ground with a good atmosphere. A nice way to a spend a summers day. Try and grab a seat behind one of the bowling/batting ends for a better view.
M. S. A.
Watched Bangladesh Vs Australia 2019 World Cup match. Very nice experience.
D. S.
Always a great atmosphere for Test Matches. Fox Road stand superb.
P. C.
I'm jinxed at this place. First time visit 2015 missed though cancer, second visit cut short as my wife was ill. Lovely ground and hopefully 3rd time lucky. I imagine all snacks and drinks will be horrendously over priced as all venues are, rip-off Britain

Great day watching test cricket. Great venue. Happy days

Trent Bridge has been home to some of the finest cricketers in the world; Gary Sobers, Clive Rice and Richard Hadlee have all graced the ground and left a permanent mark on its history. It has hosted some memorable moments of international cricket; in 1965 Graeme and Peter Pollock led South Africa a famous victory; Graeme made a century that is still considered one of the finest innings played by a South African. In 1989 Mark Taylor and Geoff Marsh gave the England attack a day to forget, when they batted through the first day, reaching 301 without loss. The ground has undergone some significant developments over the years. The office block that is as much a part of Trent Bridge as the pavilion was built after a corner of the ground was sold off to make money, and more recently the Radcliffe Road and Fox Road stands, with their stylish architecture, have made Trent Bridge one of the best viewing grounds in the country. The Trent Bridge Inn is one of the best venues for a post-match drink. I like this ground.

Attended a Conference here, in what was a lovely setting. Clean, excellent service from absolutely everyone, comfortable surroundings. The only downside was having to get out of the complex at rush hour, which was an absolute nightmare.
A. G.
Great venue. Easy to get in and out of, great views around the ground and probably the best stewards I have ever encountered at a sporting event. Hope to be back soon
T. M.
A good place to watch crocket.
It also has a very good beer festival
A. B.
Good ground with good views of pitch. Food choice is limited unless you are a fast foodie.

Home of Nottinghamshire Cricket.Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely historical sports ground with great modern stands. Hosts some fabulous family days.
C. P.
Lots of catering/bar outlets. Friendly staff and covid safe. ( not so much the crowd!)
M.
Well maintained, plenty of legroom and great views from anywhere in the ground.
M. S.
Enjoying the cricket but compared to other Test match grounds the associated facilities are poor. Very limited space behind the stands so minimum entertainment or exhibitors. Will stick with Old Trafford and Edgebaston for the future
M. H. R.
Decent cricket ground with good atmosphere.
Short boundaries and you feel like involved with the players on the pitch.
H. M. S.
Great cricketing area of course very famous ground for local and international cricket.
R. B.
An absolutely outstanding venue full of history and several distinct eras of architecture. Henry Blofeld's favourite test cricket ground. Immaculate playing surface. Superb staff brilliantly led both playing on and administered off the field. We used the facilities for a management meeting and it was perfect! Ray Burge (Lancastrian)
