S. W.I went with work. There are many outdoor activities and you can book single days and leave children there. If you have work, for example.
M. S.I've been racking my brain about this place (as i hadn't been since the 80's with school) but moreover what it was called?. I had to contact old friends just to remind me of the name. Anyway it is absolutely fantastic for kids, Bouldering, orienteering etc, you name it, it's got it.
P.s first time i'd seen a Pike in Stanley pool...granted it was dead and had washed up on shore, but the size of the bloody thing! (as a kid it looked as big as a shark)...Good memories.
