I am more than impressed with the set up at Heworth that over 100 years has evolved into a facility equalling some professional grounds. It is also evident that there are dedicated people and players that uphold their fine traditions none more so than their chairman Lee Clarke. It is obvious he learnt from his early playing days the importance of self discipline on the field not giving verbal abuse to refs and not giving away silly penalties that can cost teams a match. Good luck for the next 100 years

Heworth ARL hosted an evening party for us and couldn't have been more accommodating & friendly. Fantastic communication and flexibility from start to finish especially with having to reschedule due to COVID restrictions. Good sized function room for around 100 people with flexibility on dance floor and seating arrangements. Allowed us to take our own decorations. Would definitely come back for future parties.

One of the most friendly places I frequent.Bar staff all voluntary and very friendly. The club house and grounds are a credit to the volunteers. I would recommend visiting to anyone.
