We visited while on holiday, we had a beautiful lunch in the sun, the staff were really friendly, and the food was amazing! It was so lovely we came back again to stock up on more mead and gifts from the shop, would definitely reccomend!

CHEAP AND CHEERFUL..!!
Lovely afternoon learning about the life of bees. Very interesting & informative. A great set up for both adults & children, simple easy to follow and interactive. Didn't realise so much about these facinating insects and how hard they work. Lovely cafe, where we sampled honey ice cream and honey cake. Both delicious. Great shop selling honey based products from candles to beer. well worth a visit. Free parking.

For the size of the building we were surprised about how packed full of information the museum was. This is a small upstairs museum, accessed through a small, but very interesting shop. It is upstairs & consists of 2 adjoining rooms. The space is used well, with information on boards in the centre. Around the edges are large hives, where you can see a few types of honey bees at work. There are a few hive displays, a small childrens colouring area & another room with an interactive, opening hive & a television presentation (with a seating area). This is a mainly, look-only museum but there is an opportunity to touch & take home a piece of honeycomb.
The building is next to a cafe & a small mead production building. Set in a large, beautiful wood area, where separate walks & guided tours & activities are available.
If you're in to honey & bees, this is a must see & the shop will be much appreciated too with the honey produce available. More like a house than a museum but ample information & spectacular hives.

I've tried all the different meads for sale, and I haven't been disappointed yet! Seriously good mead, and the sparkling mead was a revelation! And very much looking forward to trying the limited editions out!

Lovely little bee museum with a few hives to look at behind glass, and nice shop and tearoom, great for a morning or afternoon visit
C. P.
A fascinating and informative exhibition on bees, friendly helpful staff and a shop full of tempting and delicious mead, honey and marmalade.
L. B.
Great 1/2 day out, get to know how honey bees work.
There are working bee colonies, and lots of things to learn. The shop has a good stock of honey products, including traditionally made Mead, which is delicious.
C. D.
We went to Honey Farm for the Audience with Owls and it was fantastic. Amazing to get so close to the owls, and to learn so much, cannot recommend enough.
K. W.
Absolutely brilliant day out, fascinating. Honey is delicious too
S. H.
Great to see Honey Bees in action. Well presented display rooms. Leaf cutter ant colony was a bonus. Mead Delicious. Bees wax products good.
C. G.
Amazing place. If you love bees, you will love this place. Bought lots of lovely goodies from the shop.
E. S.
A lovely place to stop if you're in the area. Cute gift shop and cafe, interesting exhibit with live beehives (behind perspex!) upstairs for £3 admission. Staff were very knowledgable. Small but very enjoyable
J.
Staff were lovely. Made a fuss of the kids. They gave them bee pictures to colour and stuck them on the wall. Interesting little museum. Great little tearoom and the best honey 🍯! We were recommended borage honey that was fresh from the hive and still warm!! Even better than the raw honey we usuly buy. This is our third visit and we will be back again. One not to be missed.

Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Lots of fascinating information about bee society, how it’s structured and how they pollinate so many of our essential foods. Basically bees are legends. Spent a fair bit in the shop on honey-related goodies, including mead. There’s an on-site cafe, too, if you’re peckish.
P. W.
Interesting watching the bees at home and finding all about the honey process. Samples available. If love the new 5 percent range as I'm not allowed much alcohol. I like the different honeys too especially on toast or scones. Yum.
They sell lots of other bee / wax related stuff. Well worth a visit. We visit 2 or 3 times a year, never tire of the place!
D. R.
a Lovely cream tea at the cafe. Very pretty spot.
C. P.
Very friendly and accomodating staff. Lovely tea room with really nice cakes! Would definately recommend
l.
Very interesting and informative.
Make sure you watch the video playing on the tv's you will definately "bee" amazed how intelligent bees really are.

My mum loves this place - I can’t quite figure out why.
It’s ok - the cafe is nice and the honey based products are plentiful.
But the museum part is a bit disappointing - the best part was the 30 minute film which is totally interesting but you could probably find on YouTube for free.
B. W.
Brilliant place! Absolutely lovely staff. Brought my mum and dad here when they came to visit and we really enjoyed it. Staff were really helpful. We will be back as soon as we can.
B. M.
After tasting some of their fabulous Mead in Edinburgh of all places & my girlfriend falling in love with it, I purchased some for a Christmas present. Liz was fantastic with her communication regarding discreet shipping to keep the surprise and it arrived safely and quickly. Great product, from a lovely company.
E. G.
Great place! Small exhibition but very interesting with real hives and info on the honey process. The shop and cafe are very nice.
A. R.
Spent all afternoon here. Very interesting and educational. Staff lovely.
C. B.

The museum/display is quite small but is definitely worth a visit, there are a few activities for small children but most people would probably spend less than an hour, certainly not much more. We keep coming back to go to the cafe and buy more honey from the shop. The cakes are delicious! We recently got caught in horrible traffic on the way here and called to say that we would be arriving exactly at closing time and the staff kindly let is pack a couple of cakes to take away.
B.
Excellent very educational. People really friendly and knowledgeable. Tea rooms & cakes made with honey gorgeous, great coffee, going back for audience with Owls can't wait. Go there not just for families great price. 😍
L. A.
Lovely place to spend an hour or so learning about the bees and their habitat. Plenty of information, interactive museum where you can open up a live hive (behind the safety of the glass unit!), plus small cafe and shop. There's a small mead distillery on site too. Not much to see but you can definitely smell it!
I. A.
Still amazed by how the bees work. The honey farm gave us a chance to have a closer look at the different types of hives and has a lot of information.
The shop is full if honey based products and the tea room serves all honey infused pudding.
A good place to visit
P. J.
Very informative, learnt a lot I didn't know about bees. I appreciate them even more now I know how clever they are. Live bee exhibits sensitively done, to educate us but not disturb the.bees.
R.
There were loads of bees in the glass boxes, which was interesting to see as well as the honey combs. There was one bee that had somehow escaped and was buzzing around the window. We were the only ones in the exhibition and I was very surprised that we were just left to look around and try to figure out where the light switches were for all of the boxes. We could have had a personal walk around as we were the only ones on the premises. There is a lot to offer in the gift shop area though and we ended up getting a few bits for the house before briefly entering the mead making building (this didn't have a host in to explain anything).
B. O.
Nice place lots to see, the different types of hives, that bees make. Cafe good the cream tea was very good the scones were made with honey in wife said one of the best she has had.
T. D.
Big range of honey meads and
Honey based skin care products
D. P.
Fairly small museum section about bees and a meadery, good for half an hour to an hour's entertainment, but the café sells awesome cakes and is well worth a trip even if you skip the main exhibition. There was a couple of gluten free cakes there when we visited, as well as ice-cream.
Gift shop sells a selection of bee related products, such as chutneys, jams, honey, candles, honey beer and mead.
M. C.
Very nice small place to see the bee's. Can also buy honey and alcohol. Staff are very nice as well.
S. O.
An informative, interesting and educational guided tour, lasting approximately one hour. A wide variety of honey and bee related merchandise for sale in the well stocked shop. Ample parking.
J. A.
Been here so many times. Its lovely. Informative and interesting and friendly staff. Lovely things to buy and an amazing tea room which sells gorgeous honey based cakes!
C. W.
Fascinating place to visit. Amazing insight into the life of bees and their place in our planet. Get close up and personal with these beautiful creatures. Lovely shop and cafe as well. Well worth a look.
A. S.
Great choice of natural local honey.
J. D.
Visited Newquay Honey, well worth checking out if you are in the area especially if you are interested in bees.
Nice cup of coffee and good lemon cake
G. B.
Very interesting and well set out. A fair few steps to get to the entrance but manageable. Cafe was lovely with a nice selection of cakes and drinks.
S. F.
Cute little place for a wander around with the kids. It's not a day out and people whinging about that need to bear in mind the entrance fee. Tea room is good and prices are fair.
p. L.

R. A.

What a lovely place, friendly and helpful staff. A small exhibition on bees and seeing them busy at work, this exhibition is full of information. Stopped back by in our way home for more mead.
T. W.
My kids enjoyed this visit. Lovely coffee and gift shop. There are stairs to the bee area so wheelchairs cant access the bees
M. C.
Very educational and visually stimulating, The home made honey mead is very Moorish. Easy parking but not so for the disabled as there is no way to the second floor.
R. P.
An excellent day out - see the live bee exhibition, find out how mead is made, relax in the tea room and then browse in the gift shop. Perfect for adults and families.
m. C.
Love the produce. With current crisis we were unable to do much here. The honey making process is explained. You cannot visit the hives.
P. D.
Great little place with close ups of real bee colonies. Nice shop and tearooms. Be aware of single lane access to get there.
D. S.
Loved by everyone from 6 to 70! Really informative visitors centre and lovely shop with very friendly staff. Gorgeous location. We didn't try the cafe.
C. G.
Excellent if you have any interest in bees but shop is quite expensive
V. S.
Lovely location but limited food in tea shop considering it is open all day. Even bread and butter would have helped to balance the exclusively sweet menu! Two scones were sent back because really seriously underbaked. The third was also raw in the middle but we did not have the hwyl to complain again. No Welsh on display (apart from the honey labelling) made this a rather alien shop experience in the heart of Ceredigion. We left without staying to look around the exhibition because the recipient of the raw scone was keen to find something more substantial. Agree with the visitor who felt that the steps need attention.
D. F.
The honey farm was an interesting place. With a live honey bee exhibition, tea room and shop
E. C.
What a fabulous place, the bee and honey exhibition is great, very interesting, and the tea shop served the best cream tea I have ever had. Well worth a visit

Interesting but small. Staff could do with a smile on their faces and be more accepting of children. Meadery was unmanned with posters explaining the process.
S. R.
Very interesting & informative. Would also recommend the cafe which serves lovely cakes made with honey.
j. B. (. B.
Fab visit.
Got to try some honey mead with the family and find out more about the bee's themselves.
J. A.
Nice little shop but the path steps from the car park needed attention. Handrail was rickety and wobbled so felt very unsafe
