Nice store with everything you need. Staff aren't the nicest. Some are good on the checkouts but the ones that look after the self serve are awful. Always standing around in huddles talking ( I won't even get into social distancing and setting a good example here, that's their managers job) if you need help they just charge in when the eventually notice you and get away as quick as they can to get back to their conversations. Never any customer service like hi there, let me help you or do you need any other assistance in fact your lucky if they even look up at you and acknowledge you when they come over.

ive being going there for years even before it was asda i live not very far from it its getting 3 stars becouse some of the staff are very nice and helpful and some are not i sometimes need help i once asked a member of staff to help me and he was very angry i asked him to help me i see him afew times since

The customer service desk/confectionery counter is awful. It has 3 tills but rarely ever any more than one person serving. Countless times I have witnessed 2 or 3 staff standing behind the counter talking while one person servers at the slowest pace possible. People are often stood waiting a long time holding heavy bags and or trying to round up kids while waiting to be served. Also hot food counter needs stricter hygiene. Found a hair once and a fingernail on another occasion and got sick on my last time eating from it. Reported it on each occasion but nothing ever came off it. The staff all seem very close to each other and comfortable in their jobs, which in itself is not a bad thing, but in this case, maybe just a little too comfortable which can lead to complacency. I feel standards could be improved in a few areas. I'm sure the dynamic is very nice for the staff working there but in the areas mentioned standards are low. Otherwise staff are generally helpful. They always walk you to find what you need instead of just pointing the way. They are always helpful and pleasant and the store is always clean and well stocked. Clear and helpful pricing. I personally like that they shuffle the location of products i like to take my time and explore. Overall 3/5 could use improvement or a good shaking up. Some staff really need a nudge to hurry them up.

Good selection, but very popular.. They can be a bit short of some stock over the weekend.. Yellow sticker bargains always good value (mind the seagulls!) and most importantly, the average shop always seems to be far cheaper than Tesco!

This is a great store, but surely there needs to be more advice and guidance to those customers who still refuse to wear a mask. Don’t let them in!!!! This puts me off visiting.

Generally a good ASDA supermarket. Could be a little bigger so doesn't carry everyth8ng that you might find in the largest of stores but still worthy of completing a weekly shop. Very handy to many locations in Dundonald and has a Glider stop at it so transport options are excellent

Good sized supermarket with a wide range of products. Good quality fruit and veg and there is a great butcher/meat counter at the rear of the shop. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is loads of free parking.

Asda at Dundonald is an excellent shop. It is convenient and has a very wide variety of goods with some great offers. The only negative is that every now and then the management guys arrive and move everything around so that you can't find anything.
