T. B.Quite a large Supermarket, one can literally buy stuff in bulk here. Asian foods and I also was able to pick a few African foodstuff as well, not much though. But I was thrilled to see Cassava and Unripe plantain.
What caught my eye 👁, the section for Sea foods, quite an array.
G. H.A good spot for a brew and a bun plus lots of other treats.
Found what looked like a hair in my pastry. I was assured by the person serving that it was a bristle from a pastry brush. Though plausible no real wag of knowing. Still, it slightly grossed me out.
Having said all that the staff very friendly and courteous.
Great selection of foods from Asia so for doyens of the kitchen this is the spot for you.
Good parking and good access for disabled people with a lift to the first floor.
M. W.Great cafe. Great food. Great staff. I’ve used this cafe with various friends over past 3 years to sit in, but also as a takeaway. Carmel squares, made on the premises best in Belfast. Scones and the chicken curry pie are superb.
H. G.Love this place! What a fantastic array of products. If you like any type of Asian food you could happily spend an hour or so just browsing the shelves. Good for large quantities of good quality rice , also has catering size packs of many products.

J. R.A fantastic newly opened store very clean friendly with their own private car park for customers. Well laid out with the smaller things to the front of the store and the bulk to the rear. All the usual great things available here that are next to impossible to get in aby other supermarket store. We love going here for the plantains and cassava. Their super 5kg packs of chicken at a whooping £16.50 amid all the other great fresh fruit and veg.
The restaurant upstairs has to be tried wife and I had a great tasty brunch there, a very good selection of food available in it.
Here has to be a visit for anyone even if only trying the restaurant

The cafe is a lovely environment. I was expecting Asian food but it was European with an Asian twist, which was a little disappointing. That said, what I had was delicious and everything in the chill cabinet and served to the tables around looked amazing.

M. M.One of these places I've meant to visit for years. My daughter is nearly vegan and loves Asian food. So this place is great. Why I didn't shop here before, instead of paying a lot more in normal supermarkets, is another example of my stupidity.

Not everything is easy to understand in English but they have made a valiant effort. And not everything is clearly priced but I think that is more reflective of an ever-evolving stock.
Probably the best place in Northern Ireland for specialist Asian goods.
A. X.Very good place to do your weekly food shop for the business or your family. Reasonable prices and also a huge selection of fresh meats, fresh fish and many Asian imported products- if you're looking to buy something nicer than what your local supermarket has to offer. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the best part is, even thou this place is a wholesaler that mainly supplies various restaurants and takeaways, it is open to public so you don't need to create a business account if you're looking to shop there 😊

Sit amount the house plants and colourful surroundings and try some of the class options for breakfast or lunch. Great coffee and big portions. Large sausage rolls packed with filling and great veggie options as well. Staff always lovely.
C. M. B. F.Some issues i have been facing over the years. Seems it will not change. Some products doesn’t have price. Often information about some product not in English. If you ask staff they also don’t know sometime. Staff are robotic not really friendly. For whole sell maybe ok, you know exactly what you need, you grab, pay and go. But if you want to try new product or recipe then i feel bit lost. I feel staff are not professional enough.

A. D.The supermarket has very strict covid regulations and staff are not afraid to speak up to customers about social distancing. The staff are from many different countries and cultures and are very friendly and helpful. The selection and size of the fruit and veg is amazing, the smallest tomato we got was the size of a very large beef tomato from Tesco. The prices are very reasonable and the food is of good quality
J. G.Great range of produce and most things are cheaper than the big supermarkets. They sell 1kg blocks of live yeast for around £2, which is hard to find elsewhere. Only flaw is they sometimes don't have labels on shelves to show the price.

S. S.Wonderful selection of mainly Asian (obviously) ingredients, along with some Polish, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Mexican options. Prices are often a better value than the big chain grocery stores. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The cafe upstairs is a very welcome addition. The Asian inspired dishes I’ve sampled so far (Bang Bang Chicken Wrap and Banh Mi) have been really nice. The flat white, while smaller than ones I’ve had elsewhere for the same price, was of very good quality. Other yummy options available include daily Asian specials (like Thai fish cakes, which I unfortunately keep missing), Bubble Tea, and a wide selection of non-Asian dishes (such as sausage rolls) and desserts (such as Caramel Squares). The staff couldn’t be lovelier. The design is comfortable and relaxed. It has become a regular for me, and I’m pleased to see it being embraced and doing so well.

C. B.Always a treat. Such an amazing selection of foods. We haven't bought small jars of herbs and spices in years now we just come here and stock up on the essentials. The ramen, pho and instant noodles selection is always brilliant. I love trying something new every time I am in. The grocer's section is incredible often featuring foods we would struggle to find else where. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming. Having visited recently the social distancing measures are being upheld well and a much higher proportion of people wearing masks than in other supermarkets. I felt very safe shopping here on my last visit.

A. N.You will find everything Asian in this market. It's not very clean and there are no customer toilets. They sell fresh fish beside the market. There is a diverse multilingual staff available so ask if you need to know a product etc. Bus stop about 2min walk from market.
G. S.I thought it was very nice and very friendly. I had a look at the upstairs cafe, though we hadn't time to eat and it looked nice. One suggestion. At the entrance there is a notice in many languages saying "welcome" but not in Irish. I thi k it would be nice to include "Fáilte".
B. D.So this was my first visit to the ' new' Asia supermarket. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the carpark was full.
I went to the cafe first with my friends and although it was good and friendly it was a bit more expensive than what I was expecting, but the food was good the staff were friendly and we were able to find a seat
The supermarket is so different from the old one which I must admit I preferred, but times change and it's good to see that this business is flourishing in Belfast
It's definitely worth a visit if you have some free time.

Lovely inside, all bright and airy with roomy aisles for those who enjoy browsing the amazing produce from all over the world. 100g bags of Indian spices like garam masala and cumin cost between 48 and 64 pence; a bag of star anise is £1.35, less than half the price in some supermarkets. Fresh vegetables and fruit are great value: huge lemons cost 26p instead of 35 or 40 in some shops. Staff are brisk but helpful, local restaurateurs queue up to buy frozen fish, an array of tempting dumplings and wholesale sacks of rice. There's a cafe upstairs which we didn't explore on this visit. Note to all foodies, this super duper market is nirvana.
S. M.Brilliant upgrade and relocation of a top Belfast resource. The range of spices, herbs and otherwise unobtainable delicacies on sale is excellent and very well priced. The new location opposite Ormeau Park at the Ravenhill Road end of the Lagan embankment means ease of parking AND a brilliant onsite cafe. Happy days.

I discovered the Asian Supermarket when I had just arrived in Belfast 20 years ago and it is one of the city's best kept secrets. If you are looking for cheap and reasonably priced fresh ingredients and speciality asian foods then this is the place to go. They have a great frozen selection as well as lots of large packets of spices and sauces that cost much less than other supermarkets. I could not recommend it highly enough.

I've tried lots if things just to see what they are, and there's a whole world of food to try. There have been a few things which I didn't like or didn't know what to do with, but I see that as my own fault for being impulsive. Already a huge range of food (also packaging and kitchen equipment - I got a great meat cleaver which I use for just about everything ), and apparently they're opening a bigger supermarket soon! I can't wait.
p. m.If you want to do a bit of Chinese cooking this is the place to get all your ingredients from. They have the lot.
