Staff are great and there's a great selection of Eastern European food. Some of the snacks are pricey, but the butchery is where they really shine. Fantastic selection of good quality products and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

It wery good shop for buying some natural tasty food. It a lot Polish cuisine you can taste for not a lot of money. It will be best shop in Belfast if managment investment som smoll money in front door replacing. In winter windy time they never closed itself. Its hard to open. It terrible. Its only place in Belfast wher you can hear " Can you shut the door " with no pleas from some member of staff. I understand it becouse is windy but maybe menagmen should stand by this door and shut it for everyone.

No longer a cafe and shop, just a shop now which is a shame but they still sell polish cakes and very well stocked on all Polish foods. The deli counter with all meats and hams is massive and you'd be spoiled for choice.

UPDATED I love this place. Fresh, different and well-stocked and the cafe/restaurant is great. Go! PS some reviews mention unfriendly staff -definitely not the case and I visit around once per week. -unfortunately, the café is closed permanently. -also, people mention 'foreign' food... the clue is in the name POLita. The food is excellent and varied. Try the range of fresh breads and the pierogi!

Most staff spoke very good English, even the few who couldn't were so accommodating and helpful. A real pleasure to see a Polish supermarket and cafe in Belfast. Even my conservative sister enjoyed the food!!

However, I didn't like the fact that the delivery goods were spread directly on the floor before they reached the store's refrigerators.
