The vegan stock is always left to get empty. It's also moved around too much so it's hard to find. It's 2022, it shouldn't be hard to keep the vegan options up to date and easy to find.

Credit where it's due! The Pro's, you listened to other reviewers and got Oatmilk with sunflower oil and not cheap rapeseed like Oatly = Canola oil at less than half the price of the others! absolute game changer! Money saver! 👏👏 Thank you! Good deals on meats, sausages taste way better than others nearby! the Bramwells Aldi brand is often far healthier than Heinze etc by not using Glucose fructose syrup or yeast extract opting for healthier options on sauces with better prices. Fresh baked bread without Soya Flour. Pretty much better deals on everything compared to nearby supermarkets. The cashier with the beard on London Rd Brighton is an absolute gent way better than self service checkout. Support Humans. Suggestions: Bring back frozen breaded garlic mushrooms for the Vegang and others who just love em! Bring back Parsnip fries, sweet potato fries but make them thin! Highland Spring Water? Oh and Jagermeister while I'm at it 🥳 I can't buy anything with Palm oil as it causes me pain also must avoid Yeast Extract = MSG Monosodium Glutamate. Need some Glutan free pastas. Palm oil free chocolate. 👍

I like ALDI it's cheap and their products are generally good. They always have a few things you can't get there and inevitable we end up getting those at ASDA but I will always get things like veg and tinned stuff there as you really can't tell the difference once it's cooked!

It's Aldi so the cheap prices, good food and fairly well stocked shelves always win... but this Aldi doesn't have the aisle that features random goods and assortments. No telescopes, camping equipment, steel fireplaces. Not even an onezee is sight. It's feels wrong.

This is one of the three stores in Brighton. I have visited all of them before and this is the only one without any special buys items. What a surprise !!! The layout of this one is same as the other two, As usual, most of the goods there are value for money. It is a good store for you to buy all the essential households item.

LOVE IT. The vegan selection here is super priced and proper tasty. Everything from vegan kebabs, burgers, kievs, sausages, pizzas, meatballs and all in between. The security and cashiers have always been friendly too. They also have a brilliant selection of cheap European and world beers, ciders and wine as well as interesting liquors.I'd be a bit careful with some of the fresh fruit n veg as bit can go off quite quickly, especially the bags of onions... Defo don't bother buying them

They have an alright selection of health foods too and tend to have some sitting at till, unlike other super markets that have big brand chocolate bars! Whether you be carnivore or herbivore, you'll get what you need here for less than every where else!

It's Aldi. Cheap goods, mostly higher quality and now with self service. Can get quite busy on weekends and peak times in the middle of the afternoon and evening but if you time it right, it isn't that crowded.

Medium size aldi, all the basic fresh food items you need at good value prices. There's a bakery that sells some very tasty baked goods. Nice little selection of alcohol and a few seasonal items. Staff are busy but friendly. The place is usually clean, shelves are well stocked and the aisles are nice and large with enough space for wheelchairs and baby prams.

ALDI has always been a favourite for our weekly/monthly shop. All the basics you could need at a much lower, affordable price. We've been there enough times now to get to know the lovely and hardworking staff aswell.

All food items are very good in quality and taste and unbielivably cheap. I bought 7 packs of pears for less than £ 3, which would have cost me a minimum of £ 9 anywhere else. My only disappointment was the shopping organization around the premise. The covid 19 rules were respected at the entrance and at the till, but there were no checks at all inside the store to control the unruly behaviour of most uncaring customers. Too many of them in very restricted spaces. The announcements to keep the required 2 m. distance was not only impossible to achieve, but also mostly ignored. The management must surely know that, business comes first. No wonder we have had over 120.000 deaths. I'll try shopping again very late in the evening

Everyone loves an Aldi! Most of their products are of good quality and very reasonably priced. They aren’t always as quick at restocking, but staff are obliging. I bet no one can tell the difference between their own brand and branded produce.

Aldi is placed in a prime location, anyone using B&Q, Halfords, Hobby craft will notice it. The outlet carries a very wide range of stock and is resonably priced. Also having the isle of dreams located only here at this Brighton store is a magnet for potential customers.

Love the special pizzas. Great veg selection. The Aldi in London Rd Brighton does not stock the Special Buys. You have to go on line for them. Lovely selection of gins too. My cat's really like the own brand cat food. 😸

As other reviewers have said, the cashiers are lovely. It's always busy in here, so full credit to the staff to being cheery while rushed off their feet. Also all your usual Aldi bargains and limited time special buys.

If you're on a budget you'll get good quality at at a reasonable price. As a single guy I reckon I'm getting about £15.00 off a comparable shop at Morrison's or Sainsbury's. Over a month, that makes a difference.

A wide range of cheap and quality products. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. Meat and poultry products such as mince, steaks and chicken are reasonably cheaper than those in other stores. The best thing I like here are the service provided by cashiers. They are genuinely kind and always ask about you. Especially Daniel is witty, funny and kind to everyone and always has a smile on his face.

What to say - its an Aldi. Probably the worst of the three in Brighton & Hove area with the new one on Lewes Road being bigger and with parking. Likewise the Portslade one is bigger and also has parking. One the plus side shelves are always full and staff are generally helpful. This store is fine for a small shop, but not a big restock due to the lack of online parking.

Originally never bought meat products here for concern of the quality but the chicken, mackerel, sausages and just about anything else here is just as good as anywhere else only much cheaper. Almost always very busy but worth queuing a little longer than other supermarkets for the money you're saving and very little "deal" scare mongering trying to coerce you into buying things you don't need like every other supermarket.

I always enjoy my visits here (not when it is too busy). I always find a surprise on my bill - I have no idea what some of the items are! I also get annoyed at the till teams who just throw a full weeks shopping onto a tiny shelf and as you try to fill your bag they just look at you waiting to pay! Come on Aldi put a proper till and collect units in. It took you years to give us shopping baskets and trolleys now help your shoppers.

A favourite supermarket of mine since it opened. Of course you get what you pay for but I have never really had any cause to complain about their products. Their fresh produce range is very good too. Staff are mainly polite although you sometimes get the odd one or two that can be a bit 'off' with you but there you go. My only complaint is one of the security guards (the white guy) is a total pain! I know he is only doing his job but he looks at you with this weird sinister smirk on his face like you are some sort of cretin even as you walk in and get a trolley he is glaring at you, so it does make one feel rather uncomfortable. However, the other security staff are very nice, friendly and always happy to chat and welcome you, it's just this one.

This store is conveniently located in the city centre, has bicycle parking and a bus stop right next to the entrance. Perfect, if you don't have a car and can stuff all your shoppings into a backpack.

Quite busy, not big fan of the new layout, but boy am I a fan of the store! They are cheaper than all the other shops, while the quality is not even lower. Even the vegetables are great. I can really recommend this store! Much better than Aldi in Germany. Try their 3.29 pound handstretched (yes, it is not even a lie) fridge pizza with buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes. It is by far the best fridge pizza across all supermarkets, far better than M&S and PizzaExpress pizzas from the supermarkets. All while the size of the pizza is massive at over 500g, which is more than double the size of most others you buy in supermarkets. Only thing is, the store can be a bit busy.

THE place to get your groceries in Brighton, especially as a student. Won't say much about the chain itself as that kind of information is easy to find. Selection of produce is generally pretty good, as well as an impressive selection of alcohols. Staff here are fantastic, with some of the most delightful cashiers I've ever met. One in particular called Daniel, with an earring and glasses, is unbelievably nice, kind and funny. Love it. I would come here even just for the service, it's that pleasant.

ALDI is adequate in every sense of the word. You can get your groceries from them for a fairly cheap price, however, the staff attending the checkout are usually not enough to cope with the number of people waiting to pay - sometimes the announcer system will say that someone is coming to open a till when nobody comes. Also, during busy times sometimes the staff will restock the aisles but in doing so will block space in the aisles - which isn't ideal and can cause some issues. The staff otherwise are usually friendly. Overall ALDI is okay and similar in service to any other supermarket. The only real thing that differentiates ALDI from other supermarkets are their prices. You're not going to get a bad experience most likely but not an amazing one neither.

Aldi is never the most well presented supermarket but that's not why it's so popular. For the (generally) cheapest deals and making your money stretch further, Aldi is indisputably the best choice of supermarket in the area, especially when paired up next to Saintsbury's and the Co-operative. You can't always find everything you want there but for the amount you save, it's worth the mild inconvenience.

It always has what I need for a lunch snack. I'm not a fan of where items are placed - they're often a bit spread out. e.g. The ground pepper is next to the radio controlled drones, and toilet paper is near the prawns, and the fruit and veg are flanked by the greetings cards and AA batteries. But it has a chaotic magic that seems to work.

I do like Aldi, simply because of the quality and decent range of the basics for such good value. The store has most basics and is always fully stocked. However I find the checkouts a real let down. My shopping was thrown at me (often is) in a haphazard manner with absolutely no room to pack. I guess the idea is to put it directly back into your basket or trolley but that's not that simple either! Either way, there's a backload of food, my shopping today got confused with the customer behind, the cashier was in such a hurry, there wasn't even a queue to rationalise her haste! I felt it quite rude, as I fought my way to the card machine, WHILST packing the shopping in the most haphazard way. Causing damage to eggs, salad, the delicates, you know. Such a let down hen really the shop is good, for what it is.

Habitual Aldi shopper in USA. Was surprised to come up on this Aldi in Brighton while there for the day. They had a very nice fresh pastry/donut counter I haven’t seen in an Aldi.
