I. R.I love that there's an "old fashioned" corner store in the neighborhood. One with a good selection of produce and products and a kind person in charge! Beats the shabby supermarkets that surround it by much.
h. B.Just the best little deli in the world. Such a fantastic array of goods, all fresh and lovely. They have every nut or grain you could possibly imagine as well as local honey. They even do a wicked range of vegan stuff. Best of all is the Turkish cheeses. Yum!

D. J.An absolute hidden gem in the city that more people should be made aware of. Having moved over to Kemptown at the end of last year I was still trekking over to Taj in Hove to find my obscure ingredients until I stumbled by this place. This place stocks a lot of the fresh fruit and veg that I have only found in Taj until now with the quality probably surpassing that of Taj too. They also stock a huge range of dried goods (a massive wall of different rices, pulses, etc), tins, and foreign sauces/spices. The guy who runs it is also very friendly and knowledgeable
