Great place - mostly a good refill/no waste shop but it also seems lots of other bits and bobs. A bit like the TARDIS, it's bigger than it looks! Also serves coffee, iced coffee and tea, and a range of juices that they make in front of you! A bit of a shame that I saw some of their bakery type products wrapped in plastic, hopefully something they can change.

I love this little store, full of wonderful selection of fresh organic produce, skin care products, organic beverages and freshly cut flowers. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Most things are very expensive but I always see it as a special treat going here. They do offer 5% to soil association members.

We are so lucky to have this brilliant shop within walking distance. Beautifully laid out, this welcoming shop is packed full of fresh organic produce, healthy products and treats. I particularly love their selection of flowering plants and flowers outside which adds a touch of extra life and beauty to whiteladies road, not to mention the vibrant wall mural outside. The staff are generally friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat....and one walks out of the shop feeling a greater sense of connection and optimism both about the local community and wider afield.

Pretty good stuff, but very expensive. There's a lot of specialist stuff, so if you want a vegan or gluten-free version of just about anything, they'll have it. They have a particularly good and extensive beer and wine selection. The fresh food they offer in-store is really nice too. The homemade samoas and pakoras are definitely worth a try. They often have things on sale, so it's worth a pop in just to see.

Of all the health shops around, this is the one I trust most with regard to pure products minus parabens etc, with Wild Oats coming a close second. I really enjoy browsing in here, especially at the natural toiletries section. The shop is really well laid out as well. They have a nice cafe with healthy food, including gluten and dairy - free and veggie options, with a good choice of smoothies, including veg ones. I particularly like the turmeric latte with oat milk. Have always found the staff friendly.

Excellent range of fresh, dried, and deli foods although some of it is quite pricey. I cannot yet compare the prices to other similar shops in the area but I was passing through and could get what I wanted cheaper and closer to home. I did leave with what was one the best Scotch eggs I have ever tasted however, and would probably visit again just to have another. The service I received from the the lady on the deli counter was friendly and polite.

Wonderful, friendly shop selling anything from organic fruit and veg, to pastries, to ethical toiletries, to amazing wines and local beers. Would definitely recommend a look round!

Mixed blessings. The food to sit and eat is on the whole amazing, really truly delicious fresh and tasty, with great vegan and vegetarian options, and the coffee is one of the best I've tasted in Bristol. However, downside are the rather brusque and haughty staff, who as another reviewer has commented seem uninterested in customer service and often have rather peculiar hair/piercings which is a bit offputting when you are trying to order. The organic fruit was very disappointing with no flavour and soft inedible apples. The prices are extremely high, and at that price I would love to have better customer service, but then this seems to be standard in Clifton to look down your nose at everyone. Also, I know it cannot be helped due to space considerations but the seating area is very small and cramped, I don't like being that intimate with strangers!

I have been a regular shopper here since it opened. Although it's not cheap it's one of the best go-to's for organic food in Bristol. Staff are always helpful. The Cafe area is simple and can be a bit cold with it next to the entrance but a nice place to hang and get a cup of tea/food. The deli is great. Good cheese selection and lunch choices with an ample cake selection.

Fantastic place, really good what they are doing for Bristol and fresh, high-quality, organic food. They also have offers and array of interesting and changing dry foods from both the local, UK and world market. The fruit and veg are ten times better than the supermarket and well worth the price! They tend to the favour the seasons as well which is probably why the fresh food tastes so good..

It's my one stop shop for good quality environmentally friendly cleaning products (as well as refills) and cosmetics. They have a good range of vegan and vegetarian products, as well as organic veg. There shop at Wapping Wharf is bigger and usually has a larger selection of products. Both have cafés too.

One of my favourite Health Food stores in Bristol. Ok, my favourite :) Friendly knowledgeable staff, wide range of product, (food and non-food) keenly priced. Ok so it might be small and a tight squeeze sometimes, but it is a great place to shop. If you want something they don't have, they are happy to order it for you. Fast prompt and a discount for buying that item in bulk too! Keep up the good work.

A gem of a shop. Within a very small space they manage to fit a great deal. Both the fresh (mostly local) produce and the drinks selection are ample. The bread and coffee are also worth a mention. One would wish for a shop akin to this one in every town and city.

Brilliant shop! Lots of lovely, healthy goodies. I especially like the pumperknickle on a Friday. Some staff don't know products very well - so I always check with a manager if I need to ask about something.

This is a darn good shop and I've been a regular since it opened - it's the 'little sister' of the bigger shop in St Werburghs. It offers such a wide variety of food - you can get almost anything you need on your shopping list here and you know it will be good quality and, if possible, local too. You can really feel the seasons changing when you go into this shop and you can always get advice on things, as well as picking seasonal recipes. Their cheese counter is amazing and the chap behind it just LOVES cheese! They have labels on things telling you where they have come from and how far away the local meat, cheese and veg producers are. I always really enjoy my experience shopping here - which is more than can be said for the supermarkets on Whiteladies Road. They also offer me a discount for being a Soil Association Member and have student discounts too.

A wide variety of products for everyone no matter what dietary requirements. Some products are bulk buy however you'll find a massive range are wrapped in plastic. Otherwise if you're looking for the vast range this is for you. If you drink milk they have refills available if you take your own bottle

Real food served by lovely, knowledgable people. This shop is an asset to our neighbourhood. With so many scientific studies showing the adverse effects of GMOs, pesticides and herbicides, it makes sense to eat organically. It is the best and safest way to get the nutrients that were always present in traditional farming and have been sadly excluded in modern agricultural practice. This shop is both a reminder of our past and a glimpse into our future. Give it a try... your palate, your body and your planet will thank you!

Which team are you on BetterFood or Scoop? They both have benefits: Scoop has lower price on loose tea and nuts, BetterFood offers good discounts on their sale stuff. Scoop is zero waste, BetterFood sells tempeh and fresh organic veg. Luckily they're so near eachother you can go to both✓
