The fruit is really great - the best quality I’ve found. I find the staff unfriendly and patronising. I always feel like I’m queuing up for school dinners - break any of the rules and you get told off by the teacher!

I've been a customer of Lawson's for almost as long as sue has been alive! Her mother was one of the first greengrocers who allowed you to "pick your own!" Sue has continued that tradition and provided first employment for many of bishopston's young adults! When Sue sneezes the businesses around her catch a cold! If you haven't visited,give her a try! You will not be disappointed!

Great selection of fruit and vegetables, and very reasonably priced too. The owner focuses on seasonal produce, which is locally sourced. I bought my very first quince recently! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the lack of card payment. I never carry cash so it's a real pain for me.

Excellent produce, with a wide selection on offer which tends to change regularly. Many seasonal and local produce on offer, the last time I went there were local apples in varieties I'd never heard of. Bargains can be had at the end of the shop were items are pre bagged at a fixed price with great value.

Pawsons is one of the Gloucester Road's little gems! A fabulous choice of fresh and healthy fruit and veg at very reasonable prices...... and then there is that bargain table at the back of the store! When money is tight you can feed a family with delicious meals at super budget cost!

Great local shop on the Gloucester Road where local shops defiantly rule and people use them too The stuff is really good quality and the owner does not skimp on this, and you can tell from the stuff that is put out, and you can buy most stuff and use it a few days afterwards Prices are good value for the excellent quality that is provided The owner runs a very good and tight ship and the staff at the tills are also locals and work fast, thoroughly and efficiently and are efficient too Stuff is replenished on a regular basis Be warned that you will need to take cash and is one of the few places that is cash only - so if you are a card nerd then take heed!! Pawsons today was very busy! But it is Saturday after all! I probably go to Pawsons every other day..the fruit and veg is always of a very high standard and there are often special deals which sometimes dictate what we will have for lunch or dinner. I love it there. !

Best grocer on Gloucester rd, quality of fruit/veg is great its not as cheap as some of the others but its fresher and lasts longer. Always happy to split packs or halve a cabbage. The Discounts table is great for bargins youre gonna eat that day.

Great fruit and veg shop. The staff are friendly, including the owner (I disagree with the other reviewer). It is busy and peak times at a Saturday there is a long queue. That's because the produce is worth queuing for.

Amazing little fruit and veg shop. Great selection of produce, cheap prices and for once for a small shop it wasn't all end of the line so the produce has kept for a good length of time.

They are great, they work hard to keep produce fresh so you get some great bargains, the only reason i hesitated to give five out five is they don't try to open at times that suit everyone, opening at 9 and closing at 5 exactly when with a little tweaking people could buy on their way home from work. The prices are good as well.

The public avoid using plastic bags and bring their own canvas bags to avoid the pollution of our planet. Everything here is organic. Frutta di stagione veramente fresca e profumata. Verdure dei piu' svariati tipi: patate broccoli verze mandarini. Dopo un certo orario i prodotti costano di meno. Le persone educatamente si mettono in fila per aspettare il loro turno. Gentilezza e organizzazione e' il loro motto. Il pagamento e' solo in contanti.
