L. M.Tastes much better than supermarket food. But go at the beginning of the day as by the end there seems to be less choice.
K.As a simple male, I was sent there with a shopping list and, as I failed my basic vegetable recognition test, the staff were more than happy to help me. In my defence, my misted spectacles didn't help!
J. L.Great selection of fruit and veg, plus some nice cheeses, and friendly and fast service. Unlike the nearby Co-op, they have quietly and without any fuss converted to selling fruit and veg in brown paper bags rather than plastic. The selection of produce is more seasonally responsive than the supermarkets. When British apples are in season they sell a good selection, while the supermarkets are still selling less tasty New Zealand or Spanish varieties.
