Always high standards. Waitrose Essentials brand I find great value for money. Can be rather pricey with some produce, sometimes 50p-£1 more than other supermarkets for identical product. Service from staff reliably very good.

Impeccable quality at a price for fresh food and vegetables. I do trust the fish and meat counter and good choices of beer and wines. Not as expensive as people think but you will get 60 percent percent of your shopping cheaper elsewhere but I try not to skimp on the fresh stuff.

Had the best service and just wanted to say thank you Waitrose 🥰 We’re self isolating and recovering from Covid and have been dreaming of ice cream for a week. Waitrose delivered our shopping today but didn’t have a few things, as an apology they gave us a bottle of champagne. How wonderful we thought as they also refunded us for the missing items. Apart from the ice cream 😢 I called them and explained our sorrow and they sent someone round with our missing goods and an extra bar of chocolate. Can’t thank them enough. Such a small gesture but really, really made our week! Thank you x

Had a great experience today after a mishap with a John Lewis order left me on the store phone to customer service for 45 mins. I don’t usually review supermarkets, but google insisted. I don’t usually go to these places either, I have people to do that for me. I do like the section, I don’t like that they’re too polite to ID me or tell me off for using the trolley like a bobsleigh - one likes to feel young and being ID’d or told off by supermarket attendants can help with that.

Use this store occasionally as it is very conveniently next to the Orpheus cinema in Henleaze (which is actually above the above the shop) Usually get through quite quickly as I am in and out shopper for this store - I have their store card and if you spend over certain amount then one of the selected papers are free) Quality products and normally have what I need -

Waitrose is fantastic and although you have to queue for a while outside, it is really safe inside as not overcrowded, so easy to socially distanced whilst shopping. It is worth the queue in the rain. Got some delicious wine for Christmas Day and the staff are very helpful with their recommendations.

An excellent store to get all your groceries for the week. As most people know it is a bit more expensive than other supermarkets but the customer care staff really know their business as to the staff who wait on counters and stack shelves. Most things will be found in the store and there is a decent car park alongside the building.

Everything you might expect from a Waitrose, albeit in a store that is slightly limited in range by its size. The staff, as is usually the case in any store in the John Lewis Partnership, are excellent.

Generally well stocked and staff are very helpful. Lots of problems with the self-service machines and confusing because they have scan & shop and self-service in the same machine and you have to know how to select the system you're using. During the current lockdown, don't trust the Google 'busy' graph. Right now the live status is 'not too busy' but there's a 2-3 hour waiting time to get in.

Handy medium sized supermarket - not the whole Waitrose stock, but Waitrose prices (!) Excellent for tinned seafood, fresh herbs, fair-trade coffee, eco cleaning products and gluten free treats. Very pleasant staff.

Have used this branch for many years, mainly because it is my nearest supermarket. The longest aisle in this relatively small supermarket is devoted entirely to fizzy drinks (& similar). They should surely consider using this space to increase the range & quantity of useful food items. In my case extra 'free from' would be very helpful...

The Henleaze branch is doing a pretty reasonable job of not letting the store get too crowded & social distancing, plus people are actually wearing masks. Feels like the safest of the supermarkets I've shopped in so far.

A fantastic supermarket with top quality food all round . the shop is well laid out with everything easy to find and although it is slightly more expensive than other supermarkets it is more than worth it's due to the quality . they have an excellent fishmongers with a good selection of meats hams and cheeses in the delicatessen. The supermarket is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful . overall a fantastic supermarket Well situated just off the downs in Henleaze.

It is a very pricey supermarket. You may find products on offer which are more expensive than other places. Nevertheless, they have some products which cannot be found elsewhere. They sell plants at the entrance and they also have the wireless self scanning machines to scan your products as you add them to your basket. This will save you some time at the end, since you will only have to pay. Be aware: you need to have an account with them to use this service.
