For a store that's not part of a humongous chain, the breadth of items on sale is incredible. Lots of delicious fresh things from independent producers and farms - even the biscuit aisle has a few lesser-known brands present. Staff are friendly, and the smell of freshly baked bread adds to the ambience.

Clean and tidy with a very wide selection of goods. Helpful staff and reasonable prices. Parking is reasonably simple but bear in mind it's roadside parking and not a dedicated carpark.

You can park outside, there's a brilliant selection of birthday cards so that you don't have to go into town! There's lovely plants and flowers, gift balloons! Wines, Spirits, Beer, fresh pastries and bread, ready cooked vegetables, loads of food selections, seriously good little shop! Live it!

Handy little shop, with car parking outside! Full of goodies bit like Alladin's Cave! You can get some nice Birthday Cards and Balloons,without going into town and there"s some fresh flowers too. Pretty good for some quick food shopping with some lovely fresh bread and cakes!

Great little shop, sells pretty much everything you can think of. Friendly staff. Took off a star as the bananas we bought today were all off on the inside. Otherwise all good.

What a lovely find, you very rarely see a Budgens but I popped into the Budgens on Dury Road Colchester this morning and picked up a packet of crisps and a miniature rose plant. The staff were very helpful and wrapped a decorative paper around the plant when explained it was a present. The store was very clean and had a good fresh feel about it. I will definitely pop back again soon.

Some items we're expensive can get a lot cheaper elsewhere if you reduced some of your prices Coffee and sugar as one example,far too much people will not buy you need to drop prices on quite a few items, that's my opinion
