A little disappointed, especially after reading the reviews. Bought some Smokey Joe's, the sausage seemed to have a high rusk content. Small steak pies, nothing to shout about. The dry cured back bacon was excellent. Got two trays of beef burgers for the BBQ, not too bad but found lumps of grissle in two of them. Fingers crossed for the lamb steaks and chicken kebabs.

This shop is an emporium of good food. Everything from jams, vegetables, cheeses, artisan breads but best of all excellent meat! I'd forgotten how real meat tasted having got into the habit of buying from supermarkets. To top it all they serve an excellent cup of coffee and beautiful confectionary. We will certainly be back.

Michael is a fabulous chef as well as a butcher, very accomodating, great little place, great meats, I haven't had anything poor yet. Good bread and condiments selection. Staff could be a little friendlier, I go back week after week for the food, amazing.
