S. F.Wow a proper Italian Greengrocer in the middle of Edinburgh! Amazing fruit and vegetables, fresh bread. Pasta and sauces. Italian meats and cheeses. Plus cakes and patisserie. Fruit and vegetables that taste how they used to taste, not like the supermarket rubbish!
J. R.I love this Italian greengrocer - a wonderful taste of Italy in the heart of Edinburgh. The vegetables are delicious (and trust me, you haven't tasted a tomato until you've tasted one from Italy grown in the Italian sunshine!) and the prices are good, to be honest they're not much more than in the supermarket and the quality in this shop is vastly better. The lettuce is delicious and the other products are great. Pasta Rummo (my favourite brand in Italy) is available here as are plenty of Italian products like cheeses, meats, veg in oil and baked goods too. Absolutely love this place and the staff are incredibly friendly too.

A. K.I love this shop. Staff is so friendly and the fruits and vegetables are great. They have taste compared to the majority of fruits and vegetables in the supermarket. For the people who gave low reviews: fruits and vegetables are not supposed to be all identical, they are natural and just like humans they can be different. They are not manufactured to be all the same shape, colour etc. I agree that the price may be a bit too high but I prefer to pay a bit more and eat quality food.
E. T.Really nice Italian grocery and vegetable shop (I am Italian). I found things otherwise difficult to find in shops here and generally available only from online suppliers. For instance, eccellent assortment of grapes, vegetables, Mulino Bianco biscuits, Italian choc spreads (e.g. Pan di Stelle, Nocciolata). Good cheese selection, although somewhat limited. Prices reasonable for a specialist delicatessen. Definitely recommended if you are at all into Italian food.
M.Amazing quality of fruit and veg for Edinburgh, and indeed for the UK. Of course quality comes at cost. But I guess between the Lidl just round the corner and this place anyone can find her own right mix between luxury and everyday stuff :-)

M. T.I have been doing shopping almost daily in the shop and was very surprised to read that products were tasteless according to some low rared reviews. I can only smile, as these are the best pfoducts i have tried in Edinburgh. There are other shops available and if some people find it costy, they have a choice to shop in different places.
