S. A.Great selection of fruits and vegetables, staff are extremely friendly.
Place is kept very clean and well stocked.
Staff also have good knowledge of seasonal fruits which is great when planning ahead.
If there is anything that is not in store, I have had on many occasions request special orders for exotic fruits to be delivered, and they done so without fail.
They definitely go over and beyond expectations.

Some of the produce is not always perfectly fresh but just have a little rummage (or ask!) and you will get what you need. This is what is wrong with the world - throwing away produce that doesn't look like a laboratory perfect specimen - or being afraid of a bit of mould. Don't buy it, cut it off or ask for a discount.
I lived round the corner for two years, and this was my go to spot. Really nice guys, maybe not your overly chatty cashier but they like some chat. Even helped me move a giant table in their delivery van from shop to destination for nothing
People like the idiot who rated the shop 1 star disgust. me. He can eat in his store if he wants! Maybe you should step off. If you like the sterile workers who don't exhibit the disgusting habit of eating then p**s off to the next supermarket. They work 7 days and 10 hours plus, with a few days off a year, and I am pretty sure they'll be pleased to lose the ginger-buying pr**k
Where do you think Co-op sourced their ginger? I am pretty sure if you want local ginger, you'll have to go to somewhere with a tropical climate.. maybe India perhaps? It doesn't survive frost you bell end.

G. M.I'm on a health trip just now, trying various smoothies. My book says to try pomelo as they are nigh in vitamins and minerals, so I take a trip to Global fruit and veg having never been there before. Well what a surprise, what a range of fruit! great prices for what your buying even advice on how to cook it
