Great supermarket. It is so busy that not all the items are always available. Friendly hard working staff look tired as they need to keep this super busy shop going.

The big supermarket is conveniently situated at Meadowbank Shopping Park just off London Road. There are some high street shops: TK Maxx, Poundstretcher, M & S clothes outlet etc with a huge parking area around. Spacious and clean superstore with a clear layout. Pizza, bakery and Lloyd's pharmacy departments. Wide range of alcoholic beverages. However, not many offers are available at the moment, and some products are more expensive than in other supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco for comparison. So there's always room for improvement, indeed.

The place is dark and gloomy. Overall experience borders on creepy. The loud speaker for announcements is crackling which is adding to the vibe. Grab and go kind of shopping, don't spend too much time there. I'm sure they have nice products and all, just the place isn't welcoming at all.

Shopping in here very often and is a good shop with helpful employees on the floor that are always ready and happy to help and assist you. Easy smart shop available and also lots of tills or self checkout. Have also toilets facilities and a photo booth.

For a large store it can be pretty lacking at times. The aisles are pretty poorly laid out too with the chemist/dispensary kinda half hidden right in the middle of the store. The frozen aisle is utterly abysmal and the eggs are fairly well hidden. Salad and fruits are also often lacking. They do have clothes, kitchenware and some electronics, but given the location there isn't much need for those. Cleanliness is often poor and the staff haven't been particularly great in my experience. Generally you can get all you need, but there's way too much focus on processed dry foods. I will say that there is a pretty good selection of Eastern European foods. There's ample parking and it's part of a larger shopping venue with Costa, KFC, Bingo, cheap stores and there's good transport links in the form of buses.

My local shop so I avoid the busiest times. Have bought some nice clothes here whilst shopping. Good greeting card section. Neat shelves kept stocked. Own make brands are a saving. Plenty staff to ask where things are. Pharmacy can get very busy. Plenty self check outs, some will take cash. Staffed check outs don't scan your things too quickly and if too busy are lovely to chat to which I appreciate. Yes, great shopping experience.

I would understand everything. But I do not understand the following situation with a store employee. I go to the pizza stand and wait for 15 minutes for some attention. Finally a boy comes who knows that I have been waiting for so long and tells me that the stand is not working ???. Why did I wait so long. Why didn't you tell me as soon as you saw me waiting in front of the stand? I think you need to pay attention to the education of some of your employees.

One of the best and friendliest Sainsburys ever! The product range is amazing and the store is very clean and spacious. The biggest vegan product selection I have seen so far, which is a plus for me personally.

I hope when all has settled down and common sense comes back into play that Sainsburys who care so much that they have Mabel and Derrick from frozen goods at the entrance saying good afternoon, (I think the term is faux Bouncers or Security checking that you have your "Mask exemption, Card") will hopefully be returned to a warmer place in the store. The 3" badge saying "mask exempt" evading their 20-20 vision or just a chance to challenge and remind the good citizens that there is a Pandemic and masks must be worn, who knew! A "Card" which doesn't actually exist ask the SNP, but we should all be thankful that these Moral Arbiters are just doing a job that they aren't trained for and have no experience in yet feel obliged to tell you what you already know. More irritating than an episode of thrush. Alas I try not to get despondent at the Traffic Warden like commitment from the pair from Frozen goods and soothe my mind knowing that Doris from the bakery department and her sweet disposition, much like the goods she sells, will be manning the gates next week or perhaps I'll just go to Aldi's were I feel relaxed and treated as a responsible adult without any hassle and no anxiety to blight my day.

This is your typical Sainsbury's. there is nothing notable about this specific store but Sainsbury's in general is pretty good but not exactly the cheapest. the bakery and pizza are typical well stocked and almost always have what your looking for. the obviously have a wide range of options as it typical so no shortage of choice. This store is a medium sized sainsburys, bigger than the local store but not as big as the bigger super stores.

Dear Sharon. I would like to apologise for the review I had previously left. That particular morning was a really bad one for myself and I regret being so snappy and mean. I have visited the shop many times and Sharon has been extremely nice. So much so that our family know her as "The nice one" at the self service, from Sainsburys -Meadowbank. Once again I am sorry for any stress that silly situation may have caused you.

It is closed at present due to Convid-19. Normally church is very busy with community clubs young and old plus Sunday service at 10:30 followed by coffee etc. First Sunday of the month there is a soup & sweet lunch with all voluntary proceeds going to a different charity each month. There are girl guide, brownies weekly meetings and martial arts class plus zoomba during the week. Recently a messy church on a Saturday has been started, getting busy. There are weekly prayer meeting. Overall from the minister, church officers and everyone who attends are extremely welcoming and friendly. A nice place to be.

We do online shopping with Sainsbury’s, the reason to do it cos we have children, it is easier and handy for bulky products, but for freshly goods, may not always give us a good date, also lots of plastic bags each time. I love that Sainsbury's now have motorized carts and wheelchairs which can be borrowed to get you round the big stores. Ask at the customer service desk if you need assistance. It was great to do a small shop on my own.

The range of products is really limited compared to other stores although if you are just looking for the basics/not fussy about certain brands you should be ok.
