Best halal shop in Glasgow from my opinion, love going there. Friendly and professional staff and the meat quality is superior. My main issue however as of recently is card payment issue. I was left surprised during last visit that the shop is not accepting American Express card which have plenty of users and accepting stores. I love going to this shop but unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me. Please consider looking into this.

I visited to buy ingredients to make Iranian meals and they had everything I needed. In addition to tinned and dried herbs and vegetables there was also frozen herbs and vegetables such as okra and mixed herbs to make traditional dishes. The supermarket also had fresh herbs at a very reasonable price. The supermarket mainly supplies ingredients for West Asian and South Asian cuisines but there were some supplies of ingredients to make other Asian cuisines. I travelled from Fife to get to this supermarket and it worth the travel!

The best fresh baklava I've ever had! Great wee place for your Mediterranean and Middle Eastern shopping. Went in there with hopes to find Greek produce, I've found plenty and at a very good price. Amazing choice, affordable prices.

Absolutely delightful and delicious baklava made with a variety of nuts! Great desserts for those who are not fans of pastries that are overly sweet. You won't find such superior quality anywhere else in Glasgow. I have bought these frequently for friends, family and myself. We're not sure about what regional variations of baklava they make but everyone praised how tasty they were and asked for more! The ladies at the bakery and cash register were incredibly friendly and greeted me with a big smile every time I visited. There was a time a male employee at the bakery used his bare hand to pick up a pastry to offer me a sample. It was very nice of him but hygiene should be something to be mindful of. I am not put off by this one-off incident and I still visit frequently.

My last review was not worded well at all - I meant that the market is amazing for me as I always buy Turkish products - However it is indeed full of amazing Middle East products which are really good. The baker is wonderful in the back and it makes me feel happy after shopping there. Staff are always helpful and work hard . Fresh bread every day !! A true find in Glasgow- I buy my shopping there every week !!

This Supermarket is just AWESOME! They have everything, it's my first time I visit it and definitely won't be the last. Everyone is friendly there, and the quality of the products are really great. The meat area is clean and they gave me my order very fast. The sweets corner is amazing with the Baklava in there. Amazingly cheap produce, great value for spices and seasonings. As well as the wide variety of Middle Eastern produce, you can find lots of South Asian ingredients that are hard to come by elsewhere, like fenugreek/methi leaves and parathas. I also love stocking up on the Aleppo soap!

It may not have the visuals of one, but it is a nice shop. It has everything you would need for your home cooking, ingredients of all kinds and even meats. The collection of spices and condiments they have are varied and more than satisfies the average home cooking needs.

Amazing Place! Perfect supermarket for all types of middle eastern food items. I had travelled almost entire UK for the past few years searching for the ever famous and authentic Turkish Maras icecream. Was delighted to see this icecream at Babylon today. One item from my bucket list ticked off :) Very friendly staff and all items are reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this shop to all middle eastern food lovers...👍 You must try their cafe serving mouth watering grilled arabian delicacies.

Love this Asian/Middle Eastern supermarket. My larder cupboards a much more interesting thanks to the fantastic selection of Persian spices. Fresh herbs are always good quality as well. Butcher guys are very friendly too. Go for dried rose petals, bakalava type sweets and gorgeous olive oil soap bars.

The store is very well stocked. Actually, almost all food products and spices can be bought here. The prices are competitive and the high quality of the products sold. A paradise for lovers of cooking uncommon oriental spices. I would give a higher rating but unfortunately after today's visit I can not do it. Today I was in a hurry, I was quick on purchases because what I needed to buy is located only in stores of this type. However, despite the information that the store is otearty from 9:00 am, despite my waiting for 55 minutes, I was still not ready to accept the clijet. The problem was that after nine in the morning when I came to shopping, I was cleaning the floor and, unfortunately, it did not dry out for such a long time. Fortunately, the nice store service offered me the sale of the product I needed outside. So I bought and paid. Kednak, I propose changes during the opening hours of the store. From nine o'clock to ten o'clock. Not only me, but also other klijetom, it will save time to make purchases and not to shop for a few dozen minuses. I have to mention that I was not the only klyjet that day so long-nourished. My rating will change for the better when I go shopping again and I can go and shop without any problem. After all, I recommend this shop to other people.
