K. L.I've used this store for around 30 years. It's gone from a good local store to an established, well known and appreciated part of the community. Always get a hello from staff, and has evolved into a really good general store. Sophisticated is a word that I would not quite give a general store/off sales, but I think it was brilliant when they built a cold store for wines/beers/ciders etc. You buy nicely chilled from the shop and can enjoy right away. Why didn't someone do this before, so will done Barry's.
B.Great place, generally friendly staff. The only exception is one (tall, gingerish) who comes off as either incredibly rude or incredibly awkward. Either way he makes inappropriate comments about what you're purchasing or seems to belittle you for it. Tend to avoid going into the shop if I see him at the tills.
J. I.Beer selection in particular is great, decent vegan options. Staff always dead sound and the patter on the FB is tremendous. 10/10.
