S. C.I went for Diesel and LPG. Both were the cheapest in the area and easily accessible. I also bought some delicious pies that were made on site. I also bought salad from the well stocked salad bar at a very fair price. I would recommend anyone, who is in the area, who needs these items to get them here. I will definitely go back for more.
M. C.Called in today to take up the offer of the 4 bottles of wine for £20.00,labelling isn't very clear on what wines you can have. However after some mix up at the till a very nice lady called jenny who I believe is customer service dealt with the matter and sorted. Can't praise Jenny enough and definitely be back at this store 😊😊😊👍👍

L. “. L. T.Nothing left on the bakery at 3.45pm not much on the pizzas neither. The whole shop was pretty bland to be honest. Always proffered morrisons for the fresher produce but it seems to be getting more pre packed like the other super markets. Prices are getting more expensive every week also. I have to travel to get to my nearest one... don't think I will be bothering as regular now!!
S. H.We had to wait a very long time to pick up food. The staff were doing their best but unfortunately a lot of people were not happy since we had ordered the food a while before. When they brought the food out they forgot some of it as well. They need a different way of sorting ordered food pick up.

I. L.Whilst visiting Morrisons Holderness Road Hull today we had lunch in their cafe and would like to make a big shout out to Shelly who works on the till in the café. Shelly is not just professional but also very friendly and caring making sure her customers leave totally happy. She makes sure everyone have an enjoyable experience and goes far beyond what is expected of her. We'll done and we will be returning soon.

a. c.Went about 8 pm. A lot quieter than going during the day, people still think it is okay to come close to you while shopping. Staff are great, very chatty and helpful. The lady who served me was saying that they have been helping the community, delivering food parcels and also helping the help for heroes charity which she was really proud of. Shop and staff are great just the people getting too close but that is some people's mentality. I am a key worker and also have a family what I want to keep safe. Please just be aware and keep people safe, keep your distance.

s. c.Love Morrisons cheese bread but at £1.60 for a small loaf, it is an indulgence. However I usually get it sliced by them to make it last longer. No more it seems, told I couldn't have it sliced and when I asked why, I was told it was to reduce customer contact. Really! Very disappointed!

T. S.It's a supermarket that sold what I wanted., but why in this day and age did I need a pound coin to get a trolley. This isn't required at Willerby or Beverly and why so many tills large queues., but only a few open.
E. L.Visited Saturday 1430 so fairly quiet shopper wise. Only queued 1 min to get in. Trolly wipes and hand gel available on entering. As usual their staff polite and helpful. Well stocked with items in the main although no part baked bread so I should have gone earlier!! It's difficult at times but had problem with many shoppers making no attempt to social distance in the store.

p. a.Went for breakfast this morning. Was met at the counter by the nicest of blokes really happy smiling and just seemed happy to be working there. We found out later he was the cafe manager. We had the big breakfast and I got to say it was amazing, tasty well cooked and a very very good price. Will defo be back there before we head back to Australia.
R. A.Normally, a great store with lots to choose from but during lockdown it has become one of the worse places to shop. The 2 metres distancing went out the window about 3 weeks in and now it is simply chaotic with no order. The freezers are forever leaking along the floors like tonight and yet again I had to inform staff that the entire freezer isle at the end was soaked from halfway down to the bottom and people were walking through it barely noticing.
P. S.Easy parking, close to home, great produce and good prices. Shelves are almost always fully stocked again now

D. P.All your floor staff are excellent and are always extremely polite and helpful. However, I'm not impressed with your management. During the Christmas period the staff on the checkouts were working extremely hard. Although the store was offering free chocolates to customers the staff were expected to buy their own water! It would have been a nicer gesture to give each one a bottle of water! Please think about it for future events.
J. R.It's always ok, had a few issues with this store on occasion though. Prices for whisky are different to their website and they don't match it so had to order online to get the price which seems ludicrous. Can't ever seem to get good prices on whisky's from here and they seem to get beat on prices from many other competitors.

F.I am a regular customer at Morrison's on holderness rd, however did not enjoy shopping there lately due to the one que for all system, it was causing chaos, blocking the way to checkouts, the old system seemed to work better, however after talking to the manager, who was very pleasant and took on board my complaint, hopefully something may change, I was not the only one complaining in the queue, there was no 2 metre distancing taking place either, no room for it, having said all this, the staff are absolutely fantastic, so my complaint is not aimed at anyone, it's just so frustrating shopping there.

This particular store seems to be very popular with the older generation, who appear to have a fondness for stopping in the middle of an aisle for a moan about the buses or Doreen across the road... 🙄 At busy times getting out of the car park can be a nuisance because of the door traffic management in the are.

K. P.It's a Supermarket and a cafe. I enjoy the store brands sparkling water currently 3x1ltr bottles for £1.20, having a petrol station on site is a bonus too. The staff are always friendly.

F. N.Great restaurant and shopping. I love the restaurant here - it's spacious with a good range of family meals instead of just fast food. They do an awesome macaroni and cheese!! The restaurant area has a comfy seating area with bucket chairs as well as lovely chic farmhouse style dining tables and chairs. They also have a baby section with bottle warmer and microwave as well as little bowls and spoons - they seem to cater for all. There is free WIFI which takes seconds to register with. As well as the great food and seating area you have a post office, hairdressers, pharmacy, card shop and handbag stall that do various other items as well. It's a great shop with a vast selection of goods from car accessories to baby and pets as well as your general food and fresh bakery as well as very fresh fish and sea food area as you enter - all this under one roof with very friendly staff. It's never disappointed me yet as a shop.

J. H.It's a big supermarket selling the usual. Plenty of parking and a petrol station too. Why 3 (upgraded to 4) stars, well value for money wise it's dearer than the other 3 by quite a bit. However, it has a massive range of products. Sometimes they do a deal on the fuel if you spend over 50 quid which to be honest is easy there. Half the shopping for double the money but add in cheap fuel and it's not bad, specially if passing by.

Was buying flowers to take to my sons an parents graves , after choosing my flowers i noticed some loverly sunflowers in the reduced tub , when i checked the price , they had been priced wrong , and the reduced price was greater than the original price , i spoke to a manager named Mike , who took them to a till an gave them to me , he was really kind , i thought that was a really nice thing to do . We took them along with our other flowers an they look really nice , so thank you .

J. I.I do love the shop: great fishmonger, selection of meat (e.g. the only place where you can buy diced turkey thigh), eggs with bright yolk or just yorkshire free range... However it is quite painful sometimes to be treated by staff: disabled person is sent to the long queu just because the cashier is wiping some faraway surfaces. And do not tell me it's covid, neglect to disabled people I met before March 2020. So, sadly, just 3 stars. Again.

J. L.In my visits to Morris ons I have always found the staff extremely helpful .It's a large Supermarket so you need staff sometimes to show you were something is. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are always smiling. The food of course is plentiful. Lots of fresh produce to choose from. They sell clothes, c d s , cards of all descriptions, fresh fish, a very large drinks selection. Newspapers , the cafe is by far the best out of all the Supermarkets.I personally shop here 99% of the time. I rate them as a top class Supermarket.

M. G. Y.It's not that I don't like Morrisons.. When they first introduced market Street all those years back it seemed like a good idea, now it just feels dated and some of the products have definitely slipped. The salad bar has little to no selection nowadays and the pies from the pie counter are more pastry than anything else. One of the big puzzling problems I find, is that if they have a product that sells well they always seem to struggle to keep up with demand. Another concern is the fish counter, it smells terrible in quite a few Morrisons stores, I certainly don't like tesco but perhaps they could learn a thing about keeping the area fresh.
The rest of the shop is like most other supermarkets nowadays pushing heavily with their own brands to compete with the cheaper supermarkets like lidl and aldi. One thing that also annoys me about all Morrisons stores is their branding of their extra special line or as they call it "the best" maybe its the best for their store but its certainly not the best period. In fact some of that range is just indistinguishable from most of their other production line food products. Still it's far from being the worst chain out there and I would use it if passing so its three stars for me..

8. H.Morrisons is a good supermarket. Offering wide range of products as well as morrisons own brand.
There are separate butcher, fishmonger, bakery, counters which are exellent, and also cafe, watch repair, tabacco area, pharmacy, post office, hair dressers, card shop.
There are many self service tills and many staffed tolls, and always lots of staff to help.
Many many parking spaces disabled spaces too and petrol station too.
There are recycling bins also.
A good supermarket.
Easy to access from holderness Road. With bus stops near by and petrol station in the supermarket area.
They have a great salad bar too, you can make your own salads and it's very cheap and easy to use, one if the best parts of the shop.
Also the pharmacy can issue prescription medicines so it's very convinient

M. R.Typical Morrison store not as cheap as Aldi but the deli is very special as is the butchery department Somethings are expensive but you should always split your weekly shop up according to prices charged A little bit of leg work saves quite a sum of money
