Wow super service today, my son came in store to buy a shirt for his first ever job, whilst in store he lost his money, the staff kept him calm and tried to help him find it, when it couldn’t be found they did more than anyone would ever image and he came home with the shirt and a gift card. thank you so much customer services and namely Paul, thank you so much and happy Christmas.

Basic Asda, has everything you need (and everything you don't) The staff are always friendly here and happy to help. Loads of stock availability and plenty of car park spaces as well as petrol. Seems pretty clean with sanitisation stations and lots of space to distance. Not had a negative experience here.

I was down in Suffolk for a funeral on Friday and then the petrol crisis hit. I was very worried I would not be able to get petrol to get home and tried Asda on Saturday morning just after 9am. I would like to thank the three staff, two women and a man directing traffic to the filling station and also the lady in the kiosk. They all had smiles on there faces and made the process all very quick and simple. I hope this will be passed onto them. I tried to find an email address for the Manager, to write to them directly but could not find one. Thank you so much to all four of the staff.

We went to Asda specifically to exchange an item bought on line. The store wasn't too busy so social distancing was mainly adhered to. As usual, the store was well stocked and clean. We easily found the items that we needed and whilst the item that we needed to exchange was out of stock the staff were pleasant and helpful.

This shop is fantastic. The staff are always friendly, products are cheap and always well stocked. Especially during the pandemic - it’s always been handled well here. I am disabled and get help shopping, I’ve been told at other shops I am not allowed in. Never been told this at this Asda. They are fabulous! 10/10

The staff are always friendly. I have seen the cashiers get verbally abused by customers. We are all in the same boat and manners don't cost a penny. The only criticism I have since covid the management seem to stay in their offices leaving the poor staff to handle the abuse

I would just like to say thank you to the two blonde haired ladies and the gentleman desperately trying to control the traffic coming in and out of the petrol station this morning. You are doing a grand job and in this now crazy world we are living in we are not appreciating the people that really matter to these big companies.

This ASDA has a great variety of products. The staff seem friendly and helpful, the food is fresh but I do feel the store is too big to get around. It takes a good 45 minutes to do a big shop there and the amount of people that go there take up the tills so it is hard to get out quickly but other than that this store is great. I hope you found this interesting check out my other reviews. Would recommend this place.

I shop here regularly and am more than happy with most things,but... I returned a boxed Christmas tree which when I opened it was broken and had obviously been returned to the store by the way it was re folded into the box, also the instructions had been torn out of the bag,it was in an atrocious condition . I do notice in this area and had traveled back to the store to return it but even though I gave this information to the reception I just got my money back,no compensation . Why was this put back on the shelf? Not happy!!!

Went on Saturday morning so really busy with shoppers. Despite this the staff were very helpful. Prices and range of products excellent, as you would expect from ASDA. Friendly lady at the checkout called Corinna I didn’t catch the names of the other helpful people. Recommended

I give 3 stars due to scooters. I have health difficulties and use scooters. I enjoy shopping and takes me a very long time to walk and get shopping . Sadly the scooters in store are so old and hardly ever charged up to use that I just give up and go home when I could of spent more ti.e buying items I really need. Staff are very friendly and helpful and agree it's to e to buy new scooters.

I only shop when I have to,this store convenient to where I live,most staff I have found helpful,a few not so, limited choice,need to look at prices and weights not every thing is a bargain,it has not been the cheapest place to shop for a few years,my biggest moan gang ways often blocked with cages or pallets,very awkward when I have my daughter in wheel chair. Generally no better or worse than other stores. But then again I hate shopping it is some that must be done. The cafeteria service is slow,and if you look at how it is laid out,the working area is poorly designed,the staff are tripping over each other,it would serve no purpose for management to shout at the staff,it would need an improvement in the work lay out,which should be easy to do in this type of building,make their job easier to do service would improve. One other little gripe,every where else I can get a breakfast all day,but not at ASDA,yet I notice women can get cream cakes at any time,men shop as well we like different grub to eat.

I do like an Asda and this is a fairly big store with lots of fresh goods. It also has an opticians with some of the best prices for glasses compared to other chains.

Have called in at Asda Cafe, as in the past have enjoyed a meal here. But all change - my panini had simply been heated in a microwave! Soggy bread with piping hot tuna in the middle, an experience that I won't be repeating. Can't believe how much it has gone downhill.

What makes me angry is that it ment to be a super store but each time I write out my shopping list from the web site when I get to the shop they have never had what I have wanted from the web page!!! Staff are nice and helpful. Price needs to be lower. To be honest I only came to Asda for the free from other then that I shop at Aldi! Product sometime better and so much cheaper!!!

It's a nice superstore. But there is a problem with family parking. A lot of customers park there and they don't have a children. Also at car self wash the brush is broken and isn't replaced from a long time.

Not very tidy, things in the wrong place most of the time. The vegetable section is badly built and things are sometimes rotten or past use by/best before dates. Staff are usually nowhere to be seen. The "make-your-own-pizza" section is a very good one however. I think that is probably the only well liked and functioning part of the shop.

The Coronation Virus is still here, so why are people ignoring the one way signs?? Evan the staff don't take any notice ! Someone should be at the entrance TELLING people to only go in the direction of the arrows, or leave the shop. Simple ! And keep a check up and down the Isles, for everyonesome bennifit. .

I travel to work from my home 40 miles away and work just next door to this Asda. People of Ipswich you are spoilt by this Asda; best supermarket I've ever used! Compared to everywhere else I shop local to me (Sainsbury's & Tesco) this is a million times better. The store is huge with a massive selection of every product you can think of I am always spoilt for what to get for dinner. The use by dates are more often that not at least 5+ days which is unheard of in all my local supermarkets. Great deals and prices. The new self service is a lot better meaning no more queue's. Only small minor detail that needs improving is the car park. It is like a maze navigating to certain spaces with very small roads and tight angled corners; I struggle in my Ford Focus but overall a great store!

I would like to commend the staff at the Ipswich Whitehouse branch this afternoon on how well they handled the disaster that was the whole of the chip and pin machines crashing. Unusual circumstances that were dealt with calmly and professionally, and they still managed to keep a cheery smile. Well done!

Travel from Felixstowe for vegan diet frozen selection, has lots more than other supermarkets, cheaper on most items instore, staff always friendly and helpful, great reduced section at end of the day, fill your freezer xx only fault open more tills, long wait at tills
