C. S.Superb. Great shop. More places like this, please! Has receptacle for you to donate your containers in, so enabling and endorsing the reuse mantra and annihilating plastic waste. Seeds, cereals etc and also liquid products such as toilet cleaner and oils, all available on optics. You can also recycle your crisp packets here. Range of crafted, quirky jewellery items and textile plant holders. Recommended.

R. J.A lovely selection of products, both food and plastic free alternatives to everyday items. Lots of vegan sweets on offer (including vegan marshmallows) and they even sell spice refills which is amazing! I also love the local and handmade products they have in store. The staff are lovely and happy to answer any questions!
M. A.We haven't been able to visit the shop recently, so have ordered online and had the items delivered. Everything is always carefully packed and well labelled. We regularly buy tea, sugar, granola, toothbrushes, shampoo & conditioner bars, soap, coconut scourers (these last ages) and more recently candles.
They are always adding new products to what is already a great selection. We highly recommend ecoTopia 😊

The people that work there are all super friendly and always happy to help. They even have a wishlist board to let their customers have a say in what products they sell.
I've been in zero waste/refill stores all over Europe and I've never found one with a better selection than Ecotopia!

Light and bright atmosphere, plenty of space for putting your containers while you shop and the prices are all compared to supermarkets so I know they all reasonable. They are also quite ethical based on when I asked about soap nuts, so I know for sure they do their research on their products!

J. B. (.I'm trying to cut down my plastic, and dry goods have been a really tough one. Ecotopia has solved my problem. The shop is affordable, pleasant, well-organised and well-stocked, with friendly staff and no angry shoppers!
It's a simple system: you weigh your container, write the weight on, fill it up with whatever you want, and the weight of the container is deducted at the till, so if you're like me and you don't have space for massive 1kg bags or just want a little of something for a recipe, it's perfect. There are also jars to buy or free paper bags if you forget your containers.

E. W.Love going to ecoTopia. The staff are always friendly and helpful to people new to a zero waste lifestyle. Theres a great variety of products for a small shop and plenty of containers to buy. Will definitely be coming on a regular basis to top up! (especially with my loyalty card)
O. T.I was quite apprehensive going in here, initially. It's something I've never experienced before with all the weights, barcode free, own jars etc. I was made to feel at ease almost at once. Even though the girls running the place were training new staff, they managed to let me know they were available if I needed them. Beautiful, airy store with all the necessities from pasta to nooch! They have a requests board, so if there's anything you might want them to stock, customers can vote for it and potentially get it in stock.
Great for the environment, reduce your waste and a lovely place to stop! Get involved!

Ecotopia is a god send for me as in the last few months I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use and although there are other shops similiar in Leeds, they are clearly not aimed at low income families like myself, whereas at ecotopia my shopping has been cheaper than at the supermarket!!! Love this place!
M. I.Nice shop, friendly and helpful staff, decent prices and a pretty decent range of foods and other products. A good place if youre trying to reduce your plastic waste and need to buy some reusable and renewable products. They have ecofriendly toiletries and cleaning products, as well as a range of dried herbs and spices, beans and pulses, pasta and rice. They sell jars if you dont have any of your own to bring, but there are aldo clean donated jars which are free to take, which i thought was a really nice idea. They also offer some instore recyling for not commonly recycled products such as crisp packets and empty toothpaste tubes. I am definitely going to be visiting again.
E. D.I've been buying oil, washing up liquid and toothpaste tabs from ecotopia for the past couple of months. It's a lovely shop, and one of the best value zero waste shops I've visited. Went in yesterday and accidentally spilled washing up liquid all over the floor, but the lovely Luc and Luke sorted me out!
O. J.sweet little shop with plenty of things to browse! Some things are cheap, and cheaper than the other local zero waste store The Jar tree, but some things are more expensive, and certainly more than in a supermarket (But it is all plastic free!)
It's got some essentials, and is worth checking out. : )
