Entrance area adorned with contacts for a myriad of different spiritual and health improvements. Super friendly people, willing to help, including Paul the owner. If you are looking for wholefoods, look no further.

A.Organic food lover's paradise, good prices and a wide range of goods plus some you wouldn't expect and the option of buying in bulk is a bonus. Staff are absolutely lovely, and the shop is quiet and comfortable. They also make deliveries.
C. M.Great place for buying bulk or specialist whole foods. Especially good for vegan food and they have occasional offers. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is their pricing can be a little higher than you'd find elsewhere.

B.This is such a great place, I come here every year or so to top up my stash of dry goods: beans, lentils, pasta etc. There's always a couple of items on sale and I like the fact you can buy in "medium" quantities (usually 500gr-1kg but you can buy some items for less or more than that). I love the fact that they keep their overheads low and they don't spend fortunes in making the place like any other supermarkets : shelves do their jobs and that's it. The only thing I would like to see is a zero waste alternative to the products: I would love to come with my own jars and fill them in.

C.Fab one stop shop where you can buy fresh veg and fruit, wholegrains, pulses, cereals, nuts and dried fruits, jam, honey and other spreads, breads, canned products like soup and beans, frozen veg, pies and pizzas, cleaning products, toiletries and personal care items, juices, dairy cow milk, plant milks of many kinds, yoghurts (including non-dairy) and cheese, pasta, oils, sauces, sweeties and chocolate... so much! Love this shop, and you can also order on line to collect or have a delivery. There's also meat and meat substitutes.

T. D.Leicester Wholefoods is quite a special place. It has been trading since the late 1980's. If you want wholefoods then this is the place to go. You can buy in bulk, there is discount if you have an account.
They sell local produce, so you know where the food has come from. The whole point of Leicester Wholefood is that all the food brought in is responsibly sourced and respects the environment. This is a place very close to my heart.
P. V.great store paul is the owner and very friendly always adds products which we request and keeps salads for us when we go there on a Saturday, I am happy that we are supporting a great organic store providing real food away from pesticides and GMO/ chemicals.
The organic food is so much tastier than that whackass food in these big supermarkets such as asda/tesco.
I would highly recommend this store. without a doubt.

J.Just wanted to say what a nice experience we had at the wholefood shop today. Fresh, clean produce available in quantity and quality. None of this plastic wrapped rubbish you see in the supermarkets. All organic at great prices. The turmeric was quality at a great price. Really clean shop, great social distancing measures to keep.us.safe.
Thanks to the owner who had a refreshing attitude in today's madness and we will definitely be back.

So many organic dried goods, fresh organic fruit and veg ( larger stock of that would be nice though) And chilled items. What I thought was great too, was the amount of various toiletries, vegan and handmade or organic there too. Massive selection of teas. Came out with loads the first time, only wanted a few essential oils. Can easily get distracted by amazing and different things there. 🙌 Great for those who shop consciously ✨👌

C. C.Great selection of wholefoods, both ready to eat foods and snacks, and ingredients such as pulses, nuts, seeds, grains, flours and so on. Great quality veg and fruit, all organic, mainly unpackaged so you can buy loose and plastic free. Also fresh breads, as well as long life ones like rye.
We've been shopping here for years and often recommend it. Also very grateful for the Sunday deliveries.

c.A nice shop with a good range of food products slightly different from the norm. It's the best place to get a range of different flours all local to Leicestershire. The apple juice shelf is far too addictive. So much better than what you get in supermarkets. They also have a good selection of dried fruits. It was also nice to see a small selection of Greek canned food which is a nice change. Prices are fair for the quality although some prices are a bit of a gamble.
