A beautiful and welcome addition to the Leiceater Iniversity campus.

A lovely shop to go to with very kind and helpful staff, the prices are a bit high for what you get compared to other similar shops I have visited, but there are a good selection of products and refills for eco friendly and vegan items.
Unfortunately the closing times seem to be wrong. It actually closes at 4pm so be aware of that.

First off, Nada is a brilliant idea and many stores should follow by Nadas example. My own experience was lovely and the store is so inviting. The member of staff was so friendly and welcoming, she didn't pressure any sales and she clearly enjoys her job and what the store stands for ! The food is very well priced and in case you left your containers at home, there are free paper bags and glass jars, to add there are also economical Nada branded bags which can all be acquired in store to fill until your hearts content. The store has a large variation of natural ingredients (some of which are gluten free) There are handmade soaps and an array of natural cleaning products available to purchase in addition to a bunch of other natural and economically friendly products. This is a must see and you will walk away with both well priced ingredients that have been sourced well, but also with a happy soul knowing that the purchases were made towards a better, more conservative cause.

Love the concept of zero waste shop. I fill up all my empty bottles of consumables like washing up liquid and Landry detergent. I save the planet from so much plastic waste. Also great inspiration for other ways to reduce waste packaging from toothpaste and deodorants to alternatives for single-use kitchen items like cling film or sponges. Please please shop here and see the impact for yourselves. Happy shopping.

Great range of zero waste products, and excellent supply of bulk items like pasta, granola, spices, nuts, and so much more! They provide jars if you don't have any to start with, and the prices are really reasonable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel great doing my part to help the environment and cutting down on my plastic consumption.

Been shopping here regularly since they opened and have always had a very friendly, relaxed time. The prices are very reasonable, and it is wonderful to have such a sustainable option for buying dry goods and toiletries. Definitely recommended!

An absolutely amazing shop! I have purchased a few things from here now and they have all been amazing quality and very affordable for what they are! Her dry goods are all amazing and there is a really good range. Also her cleaning products are awesome and i love that they are refillable! Honestly couldn't recommend this place enough its so easy to make a small change in the way you do your shop to save the planet! I love this place and i hope more people will come and discover how awesome it is too!

I called into the shop last week when I was over visiting from Ireland and loved it. The decor is brilliant and location is in a lovely part of Leicester. Lauren has a great selection of products ranging from foodstuffs to vegan candles, handmade soaps etc. While I was in a mother was buying a student start up kit for her daughter comprising pastas, lentils, spices, nuts etc. Lucky girl. I got lots of goodies myself. NADA is well worth a visit.

Quirky, authentic shop with the loveliest owners. So many zero waste options including dry foods, herbs and spices, oils, beauty and hygiene, kitchenware and cleaning. All reasonably priced and with no / biodegradable packaging. If you're a newbie there are loads of donated jars for you to take for free! The first time we went in they were so helpful in explaining how everything worked, and they're always willing to help with filling jars etc. Handmade products from local makers, as well as branded products from ethical companies. Yet to try click and collect!

Great products which are super affordable! I love coming here! Also I really appreciate how they have free donated jars you can use just in case you forget to bring your own /have no spare!

Popped in here today and was made to feel very welcome. Having food allergies it's hard but the lovely lady helped me chose suitable foods and didn't try to oversell when it came to amounts.
It's a great thing to see all the zero waste products at very good prices.
Will definitely be shopping here again.

Hi,
Explored the shop today, not much time though, looks interesting.
Would like to have found more info on your website. There’s nothing on there about the toiletries, and whether they are free of things that will harm the environment etc. I’m sure they are but this is an important factor for me.
I’ll visit again, with more time.

The even offer their own jars to get you started! A first port of call to resupply, and best of all this still really helps the conscientious among you live waste-free lives. I hope it's there forever and inspires many more like it.

I am reviewing the frontage of this shop, initially, because of its distinctive and unique carvings which are possibly 156 years old. It was salvaged from the demolition in August 1971 of the former notable Leicester department store "Simpkin and James" which had stood on Horsefair Street, Leicester (between Town Hall Square and the Market Place) from 21st August 1862 until it's closure on 6th February 1971.
This frontage was installed here when Simpkin and James' former employees opened a wines, spirits and beers shop here (which ultimately failed also). Because this frontage used to be on the exterior of the original wines, spirits and beers department I believe it shows either Dionysus, Pan or Satyrs (or maybe all of them!). Sadly, it is currently blandly painted in a uniform grey colour rather than having its individual elements highlighted which, I feel, it properly deserves to make it stand-out more.
This current shop's trading concept of "you supply the container, we fill it for you" is a great idea to try and reduce the extraordinary amount of unnecessary once-used packaging that people doing their everyday shopping have thrust upon them. Hopefully it will catch on and this business will go from strength to strength and increase the number of its outlets. I wish them well in their endeavours.

Amazing and cosy atmosphere. The only zero-waste shop in town with wide variety of great stuff. The owner really friendly. I recommend this 100%
