We nipped in for lunch and were limited for time, there was a queue and was very busy but we were served and seated with food on table within 15 mins. We had pastry topped Chicken pot pie soup which was superb, full of fresh veg and chicken. Will definitely be back, delicious 🙂

We were approached by a lovely young man (with an earring in one ear and short brown hair and a beard) who helped us with a wine selection. He could see we were looking completely lost and asked some questions on what we liked (we were very vague) he came to the selection of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, which we tried once we arrived home, and it was exactly something we had liked previously (but as he had said with a passion fruit flavour) Overall the staff and store was lovely but we wanted to leave a review in hopes the man will be rewarded for his efforts, unfortunately we were so focused on wine we missed his name tag!

We came here today for my son's school trousers. At first we could not find the right length trousers, but a lovely assistant named Janet went out of her way to help us find the right trousers and place the order. Even though she was in the middle of another job, she happy to help. If everyone was like Janet, the world would be a lovely place ! Thankyou Janet ! 😀

There are some lovely foods in here. The vegan range is really good too (fyi vegans: the M&S beef and onion crisps are vegan and also the most amazing crisps ever). It's a good place for a foodie treat. Only downside is it often feels cramped because of all the shoppers which stresses me out a bit, but if I find some reduced produce this makes up for it!

Like all M&S we have visited recently the quality is no where near as good as we hoped for. I remember when we aspired to be able to shop at M&S.. Now we tend to go there only when no where else has what we want. Their food section is great however. The cafe is very very slow even for a Coffee.

Staff friendly, I needed a refund and this was made very easy. Although there is a lift it is not signposted well at the top of the stairs. Escalator to take you up then it becomes more difficult to get down again if you can't manage the stairs

Our first time in this M&S for a while and not to the standard it once was. The store, fittings and presentation felt old, dated and devoid of any appeal to shop there. Come on M&S, you're better than this!

I shopped at M&S many years ago when I lived and worked in Lincoln. The shop,, which I visited again recently on a visit to Lincoln is still a very well laid out store. Not too large and very pleasant staff. I spent many visits walking through the clothing department back then buying many outfits as the cloths were just what I wanted. Not so many visits now as I live elsewhere and M@S has changed so much selling most of its clothing from foreign manufacturers. Then onto the food department which started when i was living in Lincoln. I can still see the food department at that time. The food was fresh and tasty and delicious. Again, just like the clothing department , the current food, as in all M&S departments everywhere, is manufactured and so different. I still.shop in M@S stores, no matter where I am, but Lincoln is still one of my favourite places to shop. Compact and easy to find what you want. Perfect for busy people.

Haven't been in the store for a long time and it was just pleasant to return - plus it was a bonus that the toilets were open - everything clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful as usual.

Quite a small branch with no homeware, a limited range of children's clothes and none of the women's fashion ranges which are aimed at a younger market. The food hall is good and always busy. The staff know the store well and are happy to help.

My wife and i have used the Tritton Rd Lincoln Food Hall more of late due to the lockdown. We gave always had faith in M & S for quality but we have been very pleasantly surprised by the range and taste of the foods on offer. You are definitely not the cheapest but you are probably the vest for good food!

It’s always the staff that makes or breaks a shopping experience. Our toddler had been in a grumpy strop until we bumped into a lovely member of staff (Michelle) who helped entertain her by dressing a life size doll (clothes model). Thanks to Michelle the visit ended a success. Also had a pretty decent meal and coffee at the Cafe.

For the importance of Lincoln this is a rather small store with very little household goods. There is a concentration on ladies, men's clothes and the food hall. No nearby parking is a definite disadvantage. Once the new separate food store opens perhaps the situation improve. Plenty of staff in evidence and the café is excellent.

The store is large with plenty of walking space between rails. However the rails can be so packed with cloths you cannot see the style. It may better to keep some in the stockroom and refill as necessary.

I have been to every store in Lincoln, over the past week, looking for plain velvet cushions of a certain colour. I had found every colour apart from a particular green. I found the green here today which was great but the downside was that the cushion was more than twice as expensive as all the other cushions I had found. It was of no better quality and the others were feather filled not polyester. If M & S want to survive the "slaughter on the High Street" they need to be more competitive with their prices.

As a student writing this... I love M&S! Despite the stereotype it holds of being for posh old people only, it really shines through with it's food mall (the clothes don't really appeal to me). When I walked in, I realised M&S actually isn't that much more expensive than other places such as Morrisons and Tesco, especially in confectionary, the bakery and their amazing vegan range, 'Plant Kitchen'. Plant Kitchen is a little pricey, although what do you expect, it is vegan food, which does tend to be more expensive no matter where you go. I promised myself I would slowly introduce veganism into my life and this fantastic range makes that sooo easy! I especially love and would highly recommend: the Dirty Fries, no-cruelty lasagne, their vegan mousse pot dessert and the coconut & cocoa chilled drink. For most of their range you can't even tell the difference in taste from their counterparts, for me they taste better! For students particularly I would recommend their crisps - a 150g bag for £1 and their flavours are lovely; and the bakery.

Great quality school uniforms. Back in May we went for summer school dresses. Between sizes I asked if they had a height chart. They said no and then questioned one another as to why they had not got one and that they must get one. They got a tape measure in the meantime to help decide on sizes. The staff could not have been more helpful. Then a visit for September uniform, there on the wall was a height chart! I was really pleased that they had acted on this and it might seem an irrelevant comment but it proves that they have staff that really listen and care about their customers.

I went yesterday for a bra fitting and I just had to share what a wonderful experience it was . Barbara the lady who measured me did an outstanding job . This lady knows her bra's and guided me easily to what I was looking for . I wasn't pressured to buy at all but I did buy and I'm very glad I did . This lady needs a pay rise !

I only usually go in to M&S for the craft beer and I found the selction here to be a little below average based on the size of the store.... It is probably quite good for clothes though as you would expect from an above average sized M&S.

Seemed like we were too much hard work for the assistant we finally got hold of, as she kept huffing while we were asking about the differences in the school uniform trousers. Update: What on earth is "browse time?"The store opens at 10:00 on a Sunday but the tills don't open until 10:30! The assistant says, "browse time" as though it's a bonus for customers. Lunacy. Quality of men's clothes remains high but choice has been reduced. Gents' suits mainly synthetics now. Ho hum.
