R. G.The go-to supermarket if you are looking for a splendid array of Eastern European or Middle Eastern foods, fresh veg and fruit including Hungarian peppers or kohlrabi, neither commonly on sale in the UK, or on the premises baked breads, rolls, baps and cakes.
You are spoilt with the choice of pulses and grains. Their sub rolls and baps are beautifully soft and HUGE! The butcher’s counter looks amazing, but I haven’t bought any fresh meat from there yet, so I can’t comment on the quality.
By all means, this is the best international supermarket I’ve ever been to that caters for all my needs, but there is still room for improvement.
Their wide range of Czech/Slovak products (something I shop there for regularly) is scattered all over the place – in eight different places during my last visit. I’m sure customers would welcome country-specific sections where they could find all products from a specific country in one place.
